I played baseball as a kid but watched football mainly because it;s what my dad would watch on the weekends. So I never caught the baseball bug, but I had plenty of friends and family who did so I understand the uniqueness of the game.

It would be a shame to lose what at one time was the definition of summer, barbecues and family.
