Christie, will he or won't he?

Is America ready for entitlement reforms?
Chris Christie seems to think so even after every attempt in the past has faced some pretty stiff opposition.

He also indicates that he's ready to run for president.

~I reminded Christie that four years ago, when he was on top of the political world, Republican contributors had urged him to run. Did he ever think back to those days and wonder if, you know, he kind of blew it? 

“Yeah, no,” Christie said, shaking his head. “’Cause I wasn’t ready. And in the end, remember something: Everything that everybody said back in 2011 about me running in 2012 was all theoretical. It was all based on the inherent assumption of ‘He’ll do well if he performs well." 

“Well, that second part of the sentence is really important,” he said. “The only way you’re going to perform well is if you believe in your heart that you’re ready to be president. And I didn’t. And so there was no way I would have won in 2012. I wouldn’t have, because I wasn’t ready.” 

I asked if he felt ready now. 

“Yes,” Christie answered, without a nanosecond’s hesitation.~

Like I said,,,,,it's going to be a long election cycle.

Republicans Abandon Social Issues

So. tell me again how the republicans are supposed to be the "opposition" party.

More Than 300 Republicans Call on Supreme Court to Recognize Gay Marriage Nationally

Signers include former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Sens. Susan Collins and Mark Kirk and Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker 

More than 300 veteran Republican lawmakers, operatives and consultants have filed a friend of the court brief at the Supreme Court in support of same-sex marriage late Thursday. 

The amicus brief, organized by former Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman, was filed for the four same-sex marriage cases the Court will hear on April 28 that could legalize the unions nationwide. In 2013, Mehlman marshaled a similar effort for the case that overturned California’s Proposition 8, which had banned same-sex marriage in the state. 

Among the signatories are 23 current and former Republicans members of the House of Representatives and Senate and seven current and former Governors. Sens. Susan Collins and Mark Kirk have signed onto the brief, as has Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman. Other notables include former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal and billionaire GOP mega-donor David Koch.~snip~

There is a huge number of voters out there that do not approve of homosexuality or homosexual marriage who are being shouted down by the media and the pink mafia.

Way more than the less than 2% of the population that "identifies" as homosexual.

If anyone dares to stand up for their beliefs then the government is there to strong arm them to the will of the of the gay lobby.

So basically this large group of voters are being denied representation for their opposition.
When Romney lost the election a lot of pundits wondered where the voters were.

Obviously the republicans can't win if they consistently turn their backs on issues of concern to voters. I guess it's a lesson that they refuse to learn.

While the article does come off as a satire piece pointing out the absurdity of selective outrage it's also a warning of sorts.
Because the information about who donated is in the public domain, and the commie/liberal media is more than happy to compile a nice list, of anyone who donated for or against prop 8, easily sorted by name and location.
Which means they are all vulnerable to the same harassment and/or "purging" as Brandon Eich. Not only that but it's a warning to anyone who considers supporting the opposition to think more than twice before acting on it..
Mob politics.

This is the kind of stuff that just makes me roll my eyes at the American public that these entrenched incumbents believe that we're so stupid that we don't know when we're being manipulated.
Don't get me wrong, I know that there are quite a few out there that either hate this country or really believe that politicians have their best interests at heart.
Like using the IRS to stifle the opposition.

The way that democrats stand atop the dead and try and manipulate us into believing that giving up a fundamental constitutional right is disgusting.
The right to keep and bare arms is supposed to be there for the citizens to be able to resist a tyrannical government. Kind of like a free press was supposed to do, seeing as how the liberal/commie media is in the tank for liberal/commie democrats then that one is a wash.

The thing we all need to ask is how come those who are the furthest to the left are the most aggressive when it comes to taking our constitutional rights away?
