Kerry's James Taylor Diplomacy
I'll admit to taking a little time after the holidays to get over a nasty case of the flu. With some of the things going on around the world a steep fit of depression has also ruled my desire to comment on stuff.
But I can't hardly ignore this.
The depression comes from the fact that even after a terrible Islamic terrorist attack against a French magazine that is really no better than a cheap rag the usual suspects (the liberal/commie media) bend over backward to excuse it and blame everyone else but the terrorists.
Personally I think it's a shame that something as noble as free speech/expression/press ends up being symbolized by crappy publications but then again it's the principle of the thing.
However after snubbing the French and their unity march Obama and his chief diplomat decide to make up for it with James Taylor.
To think John Kerry actually ran for president, we dodged a bullet there.
The only question I have is which one is the bigger clueless ass Kerry for asking or Taylor agreeing to do it?

This isn't an Anthony Weiner story
It's about a quote that came out of John Kerry's mouth and points to the impotence and incompetence of the entire Obama administration.
John Kerry under fire for 'unbelievably small' comment
As President Barack Obama kicks off an all-out push for a strike on Syria, Secretary of State John Kerry came under fire on Monday for saying any attack would be “unbelievably small” and suggesting the Syrian ruler still had a week to give up his chemical weapons to avoid a U.S. assault - a remark Kerry’s spokeswoman later attempted to clarify.Which pretty much sums up Obama's entire time in office an unbelievably small, limited kind of effort shrinking the deficit, stimulating jobs, preserving the middle class and encouraging liberty.
The off-key comments came in a joint press conference in London with Britain’s foreign secretary, where Kerry said the strike would be able to harm Assad without putting American troops on the ground and with a “very limited, very targeted, short-term effort.”
“That is exactly what we are talking about doing, unbelievably small, limited kind of effort,” Kerry said.~snip~

What Cutbacks?
Remember all the doom and gloom that Obama warned us about leading up to the sequestration cuts?
Well apparently nobody told John "Lurch" Kerry about em.
Kerry Announces $250 Million in U.S. Aid for Egypt
Obama is going to make sure that the American people suffer way more than government, which is his industry cause it's pretty plain that he has no intentions of slowing the growth of government.
Feds keep hiring with sequesters in place: 400 jobs posted on first day back
I don't know about anybody else but I'm tired of Obama pissing on my leg and then telling me it's raining. Maybe that's why his approval rating is dropping.

Kerry Announces $250 Million in U.S. Aid for Egypt
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Secretary of State John Kerry announced Sunday that the United States would provide $250 million in assistance to Egypt after Egypt’s president promised to move ahead with negotiations with the International Monetary Fund over economic reforms. So in order to scare people and make sure we all feel the pain of minuscule cuts in spending Obama threatens the poor and children but is willing to give millions to the Muslim Brotherhood.
In a statement issued after his two-hour meeting with President Mohamed Morsi, Mr. Kerry said the aid decision reflected Egypt’s “extreme needs” and Mr. Morsi’s assurance that Egypt would reach an agreement with the I.M.F. after more than a year of talks over a $4.8 billion loan package.
The statement issued by Mr. Kerry noted that he and Mr. Morsi had discussed the need to ensure the fairness of Egypt’s coming elections, but it did not mention any specific political commitments the Egyptian president had made to receive the aid.
Parliamentary elections are scheduled for April. Some opposition groups have said they will boycott the vote because of what they see as an effort by Mr. Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood movement to dominate Egyptian politics.~snip~

Feds keep hiring with sequesters in place: 400 jobs posted on first day back
The sequester cuts are now officially in place, but many government agencies appear to be hiring freely anyway.
The U.S. Forest Service on Monday posted help-wanted ads for a few good men and women to work as “recreation aides” this summer, the Internal Revenue Service advertised for an office secretary in Maryland, the U.S. Mint wanted 24 people to help press coins, and the Agriculture Department said it needs three “insect production workers” to help grow bollworms in Phoenix.
Monday marked the first regular workday under sequestration, and federal agencies posted more than 400 job ads by 6 p.m.
At a time when nearly all of those agencies are contemplating furloughs, the help-wanted ads raised questions about how agencies should decide between saving through attrition or letting people go.~snip~
