John McRINO, who was re-elected because he lied through his teeth about border security, shows us one more time why elections have consequences.
I don't think anyone has done as much damage to conservatives or the republican party than John McCain.
He's "hinted" at retirement in 2016 but the truth is the Arizona GOP has finally started distancing themselves from him. Better late than never I suppose, how they could have supported him all this time is beyond me.
We'll never be able to move forward and bring real change until all the entrenched RINO's are called out for their lying and backstabbing.
I can't wait to see McRINO fade off into the sunset.

Weiner Weasels Out

I would think that anybody in NYC should be concerned about how Weiner could justify any kind of moral authority to govern their city.
If he has no problem lying to and humiliating his wife, who he is supposed to care and love for above all others, then what's to keep him from lying to and humiliating his constituents? But of course he dances around this woman's question because obviously he thinks he doesn't owe the voters an explanation about his shameful behavior.

I personally can't believe that Weiner expects the people of NYC to turn themselves over to this guy and if they do then they deserve to be lied to and humiliated.

Pew Poll: 27 Percent Say Journalists Contribute Little or Nothing to Society

The share of the public saying that journalists contribute a lot to society is down 10 percentage points, from 38 percent in 2009 to 28 percent in 2013.  The drop is particularly pronounced among women (down 17 points)...




The decline in public views about journalists’ contribution to society since 2009 is more pronounced among women than men. Roughly three-in-ten women (29%) say journalists contribute a lot to society’s well-being, down 17 percentage points from 46% in 2009. Men’s views on this are about the same today as they were in 2009.




The decline in the perceived contribution of journalists cuts across partisan leanings, age and education level. Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents as well as Republicans and Republican-leaning independents all are less likely to say journalists contribute a lot to society’s well-being today (down 8 points among Republicans/leaning Republicans and 10 points among Democrats/leaning Democrats).

Since the liberal/commie media's cheerleading for the ascension of Obama during the last 2 presidential elections they've pretty much openly abdicated their role as watchdogs of the government to expose cronyism and corruption. Because the media has become pretty corrupt itself. 

The way the liberal/commie media covers for Obama and his administration is so obvious it's nauseating.

Dingell Breaks Record After 57 Years in House

Rep. John Dingell (D., Mich.) became the longest-serving member of Congress in U.S. history Friday, and in an interview reflected on major legislative achievements and the changes in Washington over his nearly six decades in the House.
Mr. Dingell, 86 years old, has held his position for 57 years, five months and 26 days. He broke the record held by the late Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia.
Mr. Dingell has been involved in some of Congress’s most celebrated achievements. “The single most important vote I cast” was for the 1964 Voting Rights Act, he said in an interview Friday.
He has since helped push through Medicare, the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts, and most recently, President Barack Obama‘s health-care overhaul, the Affordable Care Act. From 1981 to 1994, and then from 2006 to 2008, Mr. Dingell was chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee.
He faced a stiff primary challenge in 2002, when redistricting had thrown him into a fight with another Democrat incumbent, Rep. Lynn Rivers, a more liberal member.~snip~

The fact that this guy could repeatedly get elected and linger in Washington for 57 years doesn't say much for the intelligence of his constituents and brings into sharp focus why our country can't move in a positive direction.
Entrenched incumbency by any party is the curse of the new politics in Washington.
Instead of celebrating this "accomplishment" we should be asking ourselves some really hard questions on how we got to this point.
