Wow, Biased much AP?

Kaboom, with one tweet the AP shows without a doubt which side of the abortion issue they're on and by extension telling us which side we should be on.
Whatever happened to "just the facts" or the good old "who, what, when, where and why" standard?
This is a debate that Texans alone should be having seeing as how a majority are in favor of a 20 week ban on abortion.

The liberal/commie media bias is in full display all day every day now.

Opportunity Lost?

There is an opportunity here for the liberal lapdog main stream  media to redeem themselves for their blatant dereliction and incompetence in failing to properly vet Obama and their insistence on carrying his water for the last 5 years.
Between Benghazi, the IRS targeting opponents to the liberal agenda , the AP scandal and Kathleen Sebelius soliciting "donations" from  health industry officials whom she has direct authority over there should be plenty of  reasons for the press to really look into and expose the malfeasance and corruption of the Obama administration.

The whole idea of the creation of a free press is to have a ready group of watchdogs to watch the powers that be and expose their excesses and corruption to the public in order to keep them accountable to the people.

The next few weeks will tell, they will either continue to hold the administration's feet to the fire and show that they are a press for the people or they will find a way to excuse the violations of trust and transparency by the Obama administration and continue their slobbering love affair with everything Obama.  

They will either be for the people or become partisan political hacks....again.
And we'll either make them answer for it or or give up our right to a free and transparent government.       

Redefining the Issues

This isn't that surprising, the way that liberals win the debate is to redefine the issue. Having caused a shift in attitudes towards homosexuals by defining them as gay and qualifing marriage as either "same sex or opposite sex" the marriage debate is all but lost in this country no matter what the SCOTUS decides.

So obviously the next shift is to redefine immigrants who illegally enter the country by avoiding the term entirely.

WASHINGTON –  The Associated Press is being accused of trying to influence the immigration debate following a decision to stop using the term "illegal immigrant" in its coverage -- despite the fact it is still being used by U.S. government officials including Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.
The decision comes as a bipartisan group of senators prepares to introduce sweeping immigration legislation which is expected to propose a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants.
Indeed, the move by the influential wire service is being hailed as a victory by immigrant advocacy groups.
The conservative Media Research Center, though, described the change as a "politically-correct mumble."~snip~

Make no mistake, the liberal commie media are actually the enemy in the debate on culture and freedom in this country. Every time we allow them to reframe the issue and change the definition they can shift the it outside of what was being discussed to one where they can drive the debate.
As long as they can do it and get away with it we will always lose.
