IRS Fast Tracks Pot Church

Want to start a political non-profit,especially if it;s considered "right-wing",then prepare for an IRS inquisition.
If you consider marijuana a sacrament then not so much,

Marijuana church given tax-exempt status in Indiana: ‘Somebody at the IRS loves us
’The IRS has incorporated an Indianapolis marijuana-smoking church as a tax-exempt religious organization.
Bill Levin, founder of the First Church of Cannabis in Indianapolis, was notified of the approval last week, which will now allow donors to deduct contributions on their taxes, the CNHI Indiana Statehouse Bureau reported Saturday. IRS documents provided by Mr. Levin confirmed the agency’s approval, CNHI said.
“Somebody at the IRS loves us because we got it back in less than 30 days,” Mr. Levin told Tax Analysts’ David van den Berg.~snip~
Less than 30 days in a state that using marijuana is still illegal.
It seems that the IRS considers pot-heads an important constituency for Obama and the democrats so obviously they need that tax-exempt status PDQ.

IRS Still giving taxpayers the shaft

The IRS is the epitome of arrogance and disdain for the average American. What other agency can confiscate property and money almost literally at the point of a gun from citizens with absolutely no accountability?
Also since when have they decided they don't have to answer to congress?

Report: IRS Deliberately Cut Its Own Customer Service Budget
If you tried to contact the IRS with a question about your taxes this year, chances are you didn't get a response. The IRS estimated that it would only answer 17 million of the 49 million calls received this filing season. Taxpayers lucky enough to have the IRS answer their calls waited an average of 34.4 minutes for assistance--nearly double the wait time last year (18.7 minutes).
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen has blamed the IRS's "abysmal" customer service on congressional budget cuts--funding is down $1.2 billion from its 2010 peak--but a new congressional report points the finger back at the IRS. While congressional funding for the IRS remained flat from 2014 to 2015, the IRS diverted $134 million away from customer service to other activities.
In addition to the $11 billion appropriated by Congress, the IRS takes in more than $400 million in user fees and may allocate that money as it sees fit. In 2014, the IRS allocated $183 million in user fees to its customer service budget, but allocated just $49 million in 2015--a 76 percent cut.
Commissioner Koskinen will appear before the House Ways and Means Committee this morning, one week after the federal tax filing deadline, and he can expect to be asked why the IRS cut its own customer service budget and continues to spend money on other questionable activities.
The report notes that Koskinen reinstated bonuses weeks after his appointment, has allowed IRS employees to spend roughly 500,000 work hours on union activities, and failed to collect delinquent taxes owed by federal employees. The tax agency has also been strained by Obamacare. According to the report, the IRS has spent "over $1.2 billion on the President’s health care law to date, with a planned expenditure this year of an additional $500 million."~snip~
Someone needs to fire Kookinen's pompous arrogant ass.

IRS Infestation

I think for anyone who has been mildly paying attention it's apparent that government agencies have become infested with the lowest of the low.
Socialistic, liberal,democrat sympathizers.
The real problem is that they're not just sympathetic but pro-active in helping Obama defy the constitution and make his political opponents suffer the consequences for their opposition.

Here they've basically embraced the rights of an atheist organization to be what they are....a bunch of self serving pricks.
While denying Churches the right to know who and how they are being monitored.

In essence the IRS has become the democrats secret police.

The IRS Assures an Atheist Group It Will Monitor Churches
It was bad enough, as I wrote here last August, that the Internal Revenue Service appeared to reach an agreement to monitor the pulpits of ill-favored churches. What’s worse is that the IRS, directly counter to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requirements, steadfastly has refused to make public key documents pertaining to that decision.
So the IRS, acting with the whole power of government behind it, seems to be saying it can monitor and presumably punish churches for the content of their sermons, but the churches can’t know exactly if, how, and why they are being monitored.
To fight this combined assault on religious liberty and on government transparency, conservative legal stalwarts Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) and Judicial Watch together filed suit April 9 to force release of the IRS documents. ADF asserts that the IRS already has shared the documents with the atheist Freedom From Religion
Foundation (FFRF). Once again, the IRS bends over backwards on behalf of leftists while harassing and ignoring the rights, on multiple levels, of conservative groups or faith communities.~snip~

Harris-Perry, husband in IRS Dog House

Seems liberals ain't so keen on coughin' up the dough for the masses if it's theirs.

IRS files $70K tax lien against Harris-Perry, husband
The Internal Revenue Service has placed a tax lien on Melissa Harris-Perry and her husband, James Perry, for about $70,000 in delinquent taxes, according to a notice filed in Forsyth County Hall of Justice earlier this month.
Harris-Perry is a well-known host of an MSNBC talk show and a professor at Wake Forest University. The IRS filed the notice April 6.
In an email Wednesday, Harris-Perry said she was unaware of the tax lien but knew about the debt. She said she and her husband paid $21,721 of the debt when they filed their taxes Wednesday. The remaining debt, $48,581, covers a tax period ending Dec. 31, 2013, according to the notice.
Harris-Perry said she and her husband had been working to pay off the debt but had to deal with a series of personal crises that caused the couple to pay off the debt a lot slower than expected.
“We were aware that we would continue to need to work to pay off the 2013 debt,” she said in the email.~snip~
The IRS hounded me unmercifully for $600.00, I hope they inflict real pain on this pompous windbag.

Don't Blame the IRS....they just don't like us

Remember when we had a responsive government....yeah me neither.

IRS ignoring 60 percent of taxpayers’ calls as deadline looms
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen said Tuesday that service at his agency has gotten so bad that they are ignoring more than 60 percent of taxpayers’ phone calls during this tax season.
Speaking at the National Press Club, Mr. Koskinen pleaded with more money, saying a budget boost would help them staff their overwhelmed customer service lines. He also said it would help reverse staffing cuts in their compliance division, where he said the government will lose $2 billion this year in money it would otherwise have been able to collect if it had better staffing.
Congress has cut or held the agency’s funding static for several years now, with lawmakers deeming the agency recalcitrant in solving problems, and unrepentant for having targeted tea party groups for intrusive scrutiny.~snip~
Need I remind everyone what happens if we ignore the IRS?
Unless you're a race pimp and Obama is our BFF.

IRS Shows More Contempt Towards Taxpayers

So, I wonder how long Lois Lerner has to lay low until they hire her back and promote her?

IRS Rehires Hundreds Of Problem Former Employees
As an employer, would you rehire a former employee guilty of misconduct? Say, someone you caught falsifying official forms, peeking at secured confidential files, or misusing company property? How about rehiring hundreds of such misbehaving workers? These aren’t trick questions. Most employers breathe a sigh of relief when such an employee departs. You don’t hire them back.
Rehiring is for someone you want back, not someone who was a problem. But the IRS may be different from your average employer. So suggests a new report by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration. The watchdog report says the IRS rehired hundreds of former employees with prior substantiated conduct or performance issues.
The Inspector General identified hundreds of rehires despite prior substantiated conduct or performance issues. Some were serious. They ranged from unpaid taxes, unauthorized access to taxpayer information, leave abuse, falsification of official forms, unacceptable performance, misuse of IRS property, and off-duty misconduct. The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration concluded that the rehires pose increased risks to the IRS and taxpayers.~snip~
This is the agency that promises poor service, gives a pass to Obama's butt buddy Al "the shakedown" Sharpton and singles out opposition groups to their dear leader.
This is what we get for electing their ideological twin.
It's also what we get when we allow government agencies that are supposed to serve all the people to become infested with communist leftists.
It's beyond time to purge the IRS.

Enforcement Arm of Democrat Party May Shutdown

Russia had the KGB, East Germany had the Stasi and Obama and the democrats have the IRS. The government agency charged with enforcing Obamacare with an all access pass to our financial and  medical information has had its budget cut and they're claiming they are hurting.

IRS warns of possible shutdown
The IRS is considering its own temporary shutdown due to recent budget cuts enacted by Congress, its chief said Thursday.
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen said furloughs — forced unpaid days off for employees as part of an IRS closure — is one idea reluctantly being tossed about to save money, though they are hoping they will not have to go there.
“There is no way we can say right now that that won’t happen,” Koskinen told reporters at a press conference on the upcoming tax season. “Again, I would stress that would be the last option.”~snip~
What better way to oppress people in a free market economy than with an all powerful agency given the power to creep through every aspect of our lives?
I's time this partisan agency was disbanded and another method found to fund government.

When We All Become Criminals

The whole Eric Gardner episode is an illustration of the heavy handedness of political power, Somehow we have gotten away from the idea that in a truly free society government interferes in the life of its citizens as little as possible thereby creating a situation where just about anyone can be arrested.

Law Puts Us All in Same Danger as Eric Garner
On the opening day of law school, I always counsel my first-year students never to support a law they are not willing to kill to enforce. Usually they greet this advice with something between skepticism and puzzlement, until I remind them that the police go armed to enforce the will of the state, and if you resist, they might kill you.
I wish this caution were only theoretical. It isn’t. Whatever your view on the refusal of a New York City grand jury to indict the police officer whose chokehold apparently led to the death of Eric Garner, it’s useful to remember the crime that Garner is alleged to have committed: He was selling individual cigarettes, or loosies, in violation of New York law.
The obvious racial dynamics of the case -- the police officer, Daniel Pantaleo, is white; Garner was black -- have sparked understandable outrage. But, at least among libertarians, so has the law that was being enforced. Wrote Nick Gillespie in the Daily Beast, “Clearly something has gone horribly wrong when a man lies dead after being confronted for selling cigarettes to willing buyers.” Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, appearing on MSNBC, also blamed the statute: “Some politician put a tax of $5.85 on a pack of cigarettes, so they’ve driven cigarettes underground by making them so expensive.”~snip~
The reality is that this actually goes way beyond cigarettes and black markets, what it's really about is just how much are we going to allow government to criminalize our activities.
For instance people should wear a seat belt because it's a good idea but a lot of states have mandatory seat belt laws that impose a fine if you or your passengers are caught not wearing one.
While not an arrest-able offense ignoring or not paying the fine is.
Warrants are issued for over due fines all the time and if you are confronted by a police officer then you are subject to arrest...by force if necessary. The reality is that government really requires you to wear a seat belt and if you don't pay a fine then they will potentially use force.
Is that an appropriate use of force by police? Over not wearing a seat belt?
Because that is really what instigated a potentially violent arrest.
Cigarettes or seat belts the question is do we really want to put citizens and police in these kinds of situations?
If they are it's not the cops fault but the politicians who pass ill considered laws in order to pander to specific groups.

Then there's the tyranny of the government using laws and regulations to target groups and individuals due to their political beliefs. Like the IRS did to conservative groups.
I've had the IRS pursue me for owing around $600.00, I'm politically conservative. Al Sharpton, liberal/democrat/race pimp, owes 4 million dollars and as far as I know still owes.

As Ann Coulter said, do not stand between a liberal and his taxes" that was Eric Gardner's mistake and the truth is it could happen to anyone.

Meanwhile Back at the IRS

With the plethora of scandals and incompetencies coming from the Obama administration and his various obedient minions in government it's easy to lose sight of each individual outrage against the country.
So here's a reminder that the investigation into the repressive IRS is continuing.
Slowly but it is moving along.

Lois Lerner cautioned against email chatter amid lawmaker probes
Former IRS official Lois Lerner said she warned her colleagues to be careful about what they write in emails amid congressional inquiries, according to new emails released by House Oversight Republicans.
She also asked whether the IRS’s internal messaging system could be searched, in the same email to an IRS colleague. It was sent April 9, 2013, less than two weeks after the IRS inspector general that unearthed the tea party targeting practice shared a draft report with the agency.
“I was cautioning folks about email and how we have had several occasions where Congress has asked for emails and there has been an electronic search for responsive emails — so we need to be cautious about what we say in emails,” she wrote to Maria Hooke, the director of business systems planning for the tax-exempt division. “Someone asked if OCS conversations were also searchable — I don’t know. … Do you know?”~snip~
Because, you know, if we're not doing anything wrong we still need to be careful what we say in case anyone calls us out on it.
The IRS has unprecedented power to disrupt and ruin our lives and seems to feel that it is accountable to no one. Federal agencies are also havens for leftist partisan hacks who can undermine or support various administrations based on ideology.
Some people have called for eliminating the IRS and establishing a flat tax or some such other scheme and while that would be ideal....and fair it'll never happen. Basically because politicians use the tax code to further their ambitions. But, other than public sector unions, there is really nothing standing in the way of congress purging the agency of leftist partisan.
If not then they will simply be sleeper agents for leftist politicians and we will never be rid of these socialist.

EPA Treats Hallways Like Taxpayers

There seems to be very little doubt about how the IRS feels about us and it seems the EPA has gotten their cue from them.
But you gotta wonder what the hallways look like at the regional office in Denver, Colorado  that would prompt them to send an email out about defecating in the hallways among other things.

EPA Employees Told to Stop Pooping in the Hallway
Environmental Protection Agency workers have done some odd things recently.
Contractors built secret man caves in an EPA warehouse, an employee pretended to work for the CIA to get unlimited vacations and one worker even spent most of his time on the clock looking at pornography.
It appears, however, that a regional office has reached a new low: Management for Region 8 in Denver, Colo., wrote an email earlier this year to all staff in the area pleading with them to stop inappropriate bathroom behavior, including defecating in the hallway.
In the email, obtained by Government Executive, Deputy Regional Administrator Howard Cantor mentioned “several incidents” in the building, including clogging the toilets with paper towels and “an individual placing feces in the hallway” outside the restroom.
Confounded by what to make of this occurrence, EPA management “consulted” with workplace violence “national expert” John Nicoletti, who said that hallway feces is in fact a health and safety risk. He added the behavior was “very dangerous” and the individuals responsible would “probably escalate” their actions.~snip~
These are some of the folks who determine what is and what isn't appropriate for the rest of us to put in the air and water.
It's a good bet they were probably members of the occupy protest.

Great Theatre, Still no Accountability

There are people out there that are cheering on the supposed "spanking" that some of the republicans are giving the IRS. You can find some of it here via Twitchy.

‘Just nailed Koskinen to the wall’: Trey Gowdy brings the heat to IRS hearing [video]

When you get right down to it though all you basically have is theatre put on by the republicans. Let's face it, all their posturing and so-called slam dunk questioning in any hearing has resulted in absolutely no accountability by Obama, his administration or the democrats.
Everyones getting whipped up over what is essentially a toothless congress whose republican members hold the same view as the RNC does of grass roots Tea party organizations.

Maybe there's some merit to collecting sound bites for the next 2 election cycles so that republicans can use them against democrats but the lickspittle media will do their best to minimise then and relegate them to conspiracy theories.

You really want to cheer this empty display on then go to it.
As for me...wake me when they actually indict someone for their criminal and illegal actions.
Until then it's just smoke.

Picture of the Month

From the NYPost.
For anyone who has been following the disgrace that is the IRS this picture puts into one image the arrogance and disdain the Obama administration has for the American people.
I could go into the whole "missing emails" and destroyed hard drive thing but at this point "what difference does it make"?
Voting out democrats does very little to eliminate the liberal/commie threat to the country basically because the civil service has been hiring lickspittle little liberals for decades. I got a position in the 70's in civil service because I was going to school and the agency I worked for was infested with Jimmy Carter worshippers who were, and still are, proud liberals.
They were more than happy to tell you so. They're smug and arrogant because they know that no matter what the public sector unions have their backs.
If we want real change the purge will have to go deep into government agencies to replace the partisan hack employees with people who can do their jobs in a fair and neutral manner.

Breaking the public sector unions is crucial to restoring a fair and accountable government.

Bergdahl’s conduct investigated

It seems that everything Bowe Bergdahl has pretty much knocked the VA scandal, among others, off the current news cycle. Quite possibly never to be taken up by the MSM again.
Not that Bowe Bergdahl’s possible desertion and possible release of a classified file put together by the U.S. intelligence community showing collaboration isn't important.

Sources: Intelligence community investigated Bergdahl’s conduct
A senior official confirms to Fox News that the conduct of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl -- both in his final stretch of active duty in Afghanistan and then, too, during his time when he lived among the Taliban -- has been thoroughly investigated by the U.S. intelligence community and is the subject of "a major classified file."
In conveying as much, the Defense Department source confirmed to Fox News that many within the intelligence community harbor serious outstanding concerns not only that Bergdahl may have been a deserter but that he may have been an active collaborator with the enemy.
The Pentagon official added pointedly that no relevant congressional committee has sought access to the classified file, but that if such a request were made, key committee chairs would, under previous precedent, likely be granted access to it. Separately, the Pentagon confirmed Monday that it is looking into claims Americans died during the search for Bergdahl.
The administration announced over the weekend that Bergdahl's release had been secured, in exchange for five Taliban prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. President Obama was joined by the soldier's parents in making a public statement on the release Saturday evening from the Rose Garden.
Sources told Fox News that many officials in the Executive Branch are "quite baffled" by the White House's decision to allow the president to stand alongside Bergdahl's father this past weekend, given the father's history of controversial statements, emails and online posts.~snip~
You can't tell me that Obama and his administration had no idea how problematic this swap for Bergdahl could be given the stuff just now starting to come out not only from his fellow soldiers but along official channels also.
It's the equivalent of shifting attention from one scandal by essentially creating another one.

Then again why not?
This administration has yet to be held accountable for anything from Fast and Furious to the IRS to Benghazi to the VA.
There's way more to this swap than we'll ever know and Obama will get away with weakening this country again.

EPA Blocks Accountability

It seems the IRS is not the only agency that has gone rogue under Obama's watch.

EPA accused of tolerating rampant employee misconduct, obstructing probes
The EPA was accused Wednesday of tolerating waste, fraud and "criminal conduct" in its own ranks, as a House committee hearing aired allegations of employee misconduct that have cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The inspector general's office -- the official watchdog tasked with overseeing the agency -- also claims it's being blocked from doing its job by a unit within the EPA.
"I'm very concerned that vital information regarding suspected employee misconduct is being withheld from the OIG," Patrick Sullivan, assistant inspector general, testified before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
"This is truly a broken agency," committee Chairman Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., said, adding that the employee problems have gotten to the point of being "intolerable."
The committee revealed several startling allegations and cases shared by the inspector general's office. In one case, an employee was getting paid for one or two years after moving to a retirement home, where the employee allegedly did not work. When an investigation began, the worker was simply placed on sick leave.
In another case, an employee with multiple-sclerosis was allowed to work at home for the last 20 years. However, for the past five years, she allegedly produced no work -- though she was paid roughly $600,000. She retired after an investigation.
In yet another case, an employee was accused of viewing pornography for two-to-six hours a day since 2010. An IG probe found the worker had 7,000 pornographic files on his EPA computer.
At the hearing, Sullivan detailed specific concerns with the agency's little-known Office of Homeland Security.
The office of about 10 employees is overseen by EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy's office, and the inspector general's office is accusing it of operating illegally as a "rogue law enforcement agency" that has impeded independent investigations into employee misconduct, computer security and external threats, including compelling employees involved in cases to sign non-disclosure agreements.~snip~
This is the kind of stuff you get when entrenched civil servants who allowed, for decades, the infestation of far left progressives into government employment. These agencies are loaded with "Lois Lerner" types who stick their noses into the air and arrogantly sniff their noses at the taxpayers.
Now that they have a fellow traveler in the White House they can evade accountability for their actions.

The Arrogance of the EPA

Looks like the IRS will have to share the moniker of most oppressive government agency with the EPA. While the IRS says "we'll do as we damn well please and don't have to answer to anybody" the EPA says basically the same thing.

EPA Chief Promises To Go After Republicans Who Question Agency Science
Environmental Protection Agency administrator Gina McCarthy has issued a warning to Republicans who continue to question the integrity of the agency’s scientific data: we’re coming for you.
McCarthy told an audience at the National Academy of Sciences on Monday morning the agency will go after a “small but vocal group of critics” who are arguing the EPA is using “secret science” to push costly clean air regulations.
“Those critics conjure up claims of EPA secret science — but it’s not really about EPA science or secrets. It’s about challenging the credibility of world renowned scientists and institutions like Harvard University and the American Cancer Society,” McCarthy said, according to Politico.
“It’s about claiming that research is secret if researchers protect confidential personal health data from those who are not qualified to analyze it — and won’t agree to protect it,” she added. “If EPA is being accused of secret science because we rely on real scientists to conduct research, and independent scientists to peer review it, and scientists who’ve spent a lifetime studying the science to reproduce it — then so be it.”
Republicans Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana and Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas have led the charge on pressing the EPA to make publicly available the scientific data behind its clean air regulations. McCarthy promised she would make such data publicly available during her confirmation process last year. Now her refusal to cough up the data has angered Republicans.~snip~
On top of the fact that the EPA's regulations are helping push electric rates ever higher they don't seem to feel the need to justify their onerous regulations by sharing the data they use to continuously oppress the taxpayers with ever larger expenditures of our tax dollars.
This is another government agency that needs to be eliminated by congress.

Sins of the Fathers

Here's something we all should have expected. The governments extreme overreach into the distant past to be able to confiscate even more of our money. What's even more chilling about this is that they don't even need specifics about what is owed from decades ago.

Social Security, Treasury target taxpayers for their parents’ decades-old debts
A few weeks ago, with no notice, the U.S. government intercepted Mary Grice’s tax refunds from both the IRS and the state of Maryland. Grice had no idea that Uncle Sam had seized her money until some days later, when she got a letter saying that her refund had gone to satisfy an old debt to the government — a very old debt.
When Grice was 4, back in 1960, her father died, leaving her mother with five children to raise. Until the kids turned 18, Sadie Grice got survivor benefits from Social Security to help feed and clothe them.
Now, Social Security claims it overpaid someone in the Grice family — it’s not sure who — in 1977. After 37 years of silence, four years after Sadie Grice died, the government is coming after her daughter. Why the feds chose to take Mary’s money, rather than her surviving siblings’, is a mystery.
Across the nation, hundreds of thousands of taxpayers who are expecting refunds this month are instead getting letters like the one Grice got, informing them that because of a debt they never knew about — often a debt incurred by their parents — the government has confiscated their check.
The Treasury Department has intercepted $1.9 billion in tax refunds already this year — $75 million of that on debts delinquent for more than 10 years, said Jeffrey Schramek, assistant commissioner of the department’s debt management service. The aggressive effort to collect old debts started three years ago — the result of a single sentence tucked into the farm bill lifting the 10-year statute of limitations on old debts to Uncle Sam.~snip~
Notice how the sentence was pretty much just snuck into the bill with the government feeling no obligation to inform anyone about it's backhanded plan to seize our assets under almost any circumstances.
It's a pretty sad situation to realize that the government who is supposed to work for us schemes behind our backs.

Pulling the IRS's Strings

I worked in the civil service for about 2 years in the late 70's and even then it was a den of elitist liberalism. They all swore fealty to Jimmy Carter so you know they were a bunch of clueless, blind followers then.
This kind of revelation doesn't surprise me at all.

Darrell Issa: Emails suggest Elijah Cummings prompted IRS targeting of True the Vote
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., has accused the panel's top Democrat of prompting the Internal Revenue Service in 2012 to target a conservative organization applying for nonprofit status.
Issa said records obtained last week from the IRS show communications from the office of ranking member Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., about True the Vote, a Texas-based, nonprofit conservative group that aims to prevent voter fraud.
The communications at one point involved Lois Lerner, the ex-IRS official who Issa's panel is poised to hold in contempt of Congress on Thursday for refusing to provide testimony about her involvement in targeting conservative groups.
“The IRS and the Oversight Minority made numerous requests for virtually identical information from True the Vote, raising concerns that the IRS improperly shared protected taxpayer information with Rep. Cummings’ staff,” a statement from the Oversight panel reads.
According to Issa, Cummings and his staff sought “copies of all training materials used for volunteers, affiliates, or other entities,” from True the Vote.
Five days after the Cummings inquiry, the IRS sent True the Vote an email requesting “a copy of [True the Vote’s] volunteer registration form,” “… the process you use to assign volunteers,” “how you keep your volunteers in teams,” and “how your volunteers are deployed … following the training they receive by you.”~snip~
Liberal commies have been corrupting government for decades, we can vote out politicians but the entrenched commie/liberal civil servants that infest government jobs are pretty much untouchable.
They lie in wait either to subvert leadership that doesn't conform to their ideological views or to await instructions from their leftist overlords.
The best thing that could happen is if congress does a clean sweep of all government agencies.

I would bet real money that this kind of thing goes on in just about every government office.

IRS under fire: Vote for Obama stickers, campaign cheerleading commonplace
Even as the IRS faces growing heat over Lois G. Lerner and the tea party targeting scandal, a government watchdog said Wednesday it’s pursuing cases against three other tax agency employees and offices suspected of illegal political activity in support of President Obama and fellow Democrats.~snip~

What a $1000 Can Get You

*I've been away for this month due to some personal reasons and then some technical ones. However with the midterms looming I fully intend to get back into the swing of things.
I've also taken some time to reflect on what this blog should be and represent and not just a magnet for spammers trying to fill the comments.*
With a little help from the IRS it can get you shown the door.

Mozilla CEO “resigns” after uproar over his opposition to gay marriage
His opposition consisted of a $1,000 donation to support Proposition 8 in California made years ago. ~snip~
The difference between Eich and Obama is that. as far as we know, Eich didn’t lie to people’s faces about his views to further his own ambition. He could have publicly renounced his donation this week in the name of keeping his job, but apart from a statement about making sure that Mozilla supports everyone regardless of orientation, he didn’t. I imagine there must be some satisfaction to him in that. The ultimate goal in boycotts like these isn’t getting people fired, it’s enforcing uniformity of thought on the subject. When forced to choose, Eich evidently preferred to sacrifice his job rather than his beliefs.~snip~
The pink mafia has been in search of a pound of flesh since their attempt to strong arm Chick-fil-a back fired on them showing that Americans are more interested in the free expression of an individual than the whiny rantings of a intolerant minority. Keep in mind that the IRS is going to be in charge of enforcing Obamacare and as such will have access to just about everything about you that they will be more than happy to "leak" to their chosen organizations for "social justice".

I tried Firefox a few years ago and pretty much deleted off of my machine the first.day but for those of you wanting to take a stand against the gay fascists here's a useful link.

Obamacare Brings Out the Big Guns

Don't this just make you want to go out and sign up for the Obamacare train wreck?
Nothing like bringing out the cute kitties and doggies to try and manipulate people into accepting the government take over of our privacy and healthcare.
Wonder what they'll come up with to make us feel better about the IRS intrusion into our private lives and bank accounts.

Obamacare on Road to Collapse?

For all the democrats trying to tout the popularity of Obamacare it doesn't seem to be burning up at enrollment.

EXCLUSIVE: Just 51,000 people completed Obamacare applications during the website's first week, out of tens of millions of Americans in 36 states
Just 51,000 people completed Obamacare applications during the first week the Healthcare.gov website was online, according to two sources inside the Department of Health and Human Services who gave MailOnline an exclusive look at the earliest enrollment numbers.
The career civil servants, who process data inside the agency, confirmed independently that just 6,200 Americans applied for health insurance through the problem-plagued website on October 1, the day it first opened to the public.
Neither HHS nor the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services would comment on the record about the numbers. Enroll America, the president's organization of health care 'navigators' who are charged with helping Americans sign up, didn't reply to a request for information about its level of success so far.
The White House also did not respond to emails seeking comment.
But several administration officials have claimed this month that they didn't have access to the kinds of raw figures MailOnline obtained from the people who work for them. And the anemic totals suggest a far lower level of interest in coverage through the Affordable Care Act than the Obama administration has hoped to see.~snip~

I wonder if the low level of interest has anything to do with the doubling or more of premiums and the pathetically huge deductibles offered by Obamacare?
If the state-run exchanges were to have a similar response rate for six months, the national enrollment total would be approximately 2 million.
That number is less than 29 per cent of the 7 million the Obama administration would need, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, in order to balance the new health insurance system's books and keep it from financial collapse.
The real danger here is that when Obamacare gets to the point where it is in imminent collapse that Obama and the democrats will respond by enrolling everyone in the non-affordable care act and then use the power of the partisan IRS to seize whatever revenue is required to prop up Obama's "signature" piece of legislation.
There ain't no way the socialists in the democrap party will allow O-care to collapse.
After all, the democrats already believe that anything we have is theirs anyway so why not confiscate what they choose to for our good?
