Facing the Truth about Obamacare

We're starting to see more stories like this.

Over 96 Percent of Obamacare Enrollees in Maryland Signed Up for Medicaid
Back on October 22, Jim Geraghty explained why it was important to separate new Medicaid enrollments out from the total enrollment numbers for Obamacare.
We can do that now with Maryland’s state-run exchange, Maryland Health Connection. According to a press release Friday, 85,659 people have enrolled through the exchange. However, 82,473 of those have signed up for Medicaid, accounting for just over 96 percent of sign ups.
Of course, Maryland isn’t the only state with more enrollments in Medicaid than in insurance plans; both Kentucky and New York are seeing the same phenomenon.
Of course we got a hint of the real agenda with Obama's response to Joe the Plumber before the election, the redistribution of income.
The liberal/commie media then went into "cover Obama's ass" mode immediately to carry their messiahs water while simultaneously doing their trademark willful omission of anything that might embarrass the democrat party or Obama.
Leftwing media
NBC is just now reporting that Obama knew that those who liked their insurance couldn't keep it even when he was mouthing the words. Pretty much after the fact and while Obamacare swiftly dismantles the current system.
It's no coincidence that those who are shocked by the increase in premiums are the people who've worked hard and been responsible for themselves and their own health insurance. But a very large number of people will receive very low cost to free healthcare (close to half) while those in higher tax brackets will be punished  for being able to take care of themselves. All while crippling the economy and making more people dependent on government for their needs.
This has been the plan all along, to shift the burden and expense of healthcare to those who have the audacity to earn enough to be independent from the government. A monumental redistribution of wealth.

The real crime here is the complicity of the lickspittle media who, while Pelosi was saying we need to pass it to see what's in it" deliberately withheld reporting what the pitfalls were along with the breathless news about preexisting conditions and adult children hanging onto mom and dads insurance. All for the purpose of covering up for the administration before the next election so the American people couldn't make an informed decision.

So the question is, if the derelict media isn't going to act like a free press, why do they still deserve the constitutional protections of one?
Also when are the American people going to finally hold them accountable?

For Maxine Waters Math is Hard

You would think that someone on Maxine's staff would do a little fact checking before she goes on camera and tries to gin everyone up about sequester apocalypse.
170 million is slightly more than a little less of 150 million workers we have.

The good news is that her number is closer than the 500 million people who would lose their job every month that ex speaker Blinky warned us about 4 years ago.

Of course accuracy was never a strong point among liberal democrat fear mongers.

How About You First Obama?

So Obama and his pals are still pushing the idea that if the sequester cuts go through it will impact the poor, the disabled, firemen, policemen and teachers.
How come it never occurs to them that maybe they should cut back on their extravagant life styles?

Sen. Coburn urges White House to freeze hiring, curb traveling to ease budget pain

A top Republican lawmaker countered warnings about the purportedly devastating impact of looming budget cuts, calling on the administration to lessen the blow by taking two simple steps -- stop hiring, and stop traveling.
Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., in a letter to the White House budget office, called Monday for a "hiring freeze" on non-essential positions. He pointed out that, amid pronouncements about the dire impact of spending cuts poised to hit starting this Friday, the administration is still advertising for a host of "lower priority jobs" -- like a staff assistant to answer phones at the Labor Department, and a policy coordinator to set up meetings at the Department of Health and Human Services.
The request follows a letter Thursday in which Coburn urged the Obama administration to cancel a 100-city tour aimed at connecting federal officials with local leaders.
Coburn is among the Republicans on Capitol Hill who claim President Obama is exaggerating the impact of the cuts. Some claim the administration already has the flexibility to target the cuts; others are looking to draft legislation to give the administration that flexibility.
Regardless, Coburn disputed claims that the cuts automatically mean customs agents, Defense civilian workers and food inspectors will have to be furloughed or laid off, as the administration has warned. Perusing the roster of federal job openings, he listed 10 positions that "could save as much as $1.4 million" -- money that could be directed toward saving other jobs, he said.~snip~
I suppose it's to much to expect San Fran Nan and her fellow dems to sacrifice their perks just because the little people are suffering..

Pelosi uses Congress and Dignity....

....in the same sentence. That's hilarious as hell, like multiple botox injections elevate her to some sort of wise political sage.

She and her fellow democrat travelers have no problem confiscating  the hard earned wages of us unwashed masses but you even hint at cutting the pay of congress and she gets all snippy.

Pelosi: Congressional pay cut undermines dignity of the job
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that she opposes a cut in congressional pay because it would diminish the dignity of lawmakers' jobs.
"I don't think we should do it; I think we should respect the work we do," Pelosi told reporters in the Capitol. "I think it's necessary for us to have the dignity of the job that we have rewarded."
The comments were made in the context of the looming sequester, which would force across-the-board cuts affecting most federal offices, including Congress. With lawmakers nowhere near a deal to avert those cuts, federal agencies are bracing for ways to absorb them with minimum damage to programs and personnel.

I wonder if ex speaker Blinky engages her brain before she opens her mouth? Hey Nance!!! What about the dignity of the hard working individual and business owners who's pay you have no problem cutting to pay for your over indulgence in funding useless government programs?
I could go for the dignity of being able to keep some of the money I work for.
