The Forgotten men and women roar.....

....and liberals throw a snit fit.
It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

I've been watching events since Trump won the election and I find it both funny and sad at the same time. Pointing out the fact to #NeverTrumpers that not one of the "establishment" candidates could muster enough support to best Trump in the primaries is fruitless and the excuses why are fast and furious.

No one trusts establishment politicians anymore let alone Hillary and when you think about it that puts Hillary and RINOs on the same page.
Trump ran on what people wanted, jobs, border security, an end to unfettered immigration of unvetted refugees and against trade deals that screwed Americans.
Even when Trumps support rose the RINOs still couldn't bring themselves to stand on any issues that voters cared about.

Now the legacy media, democrats and unhinged progressives are doing everything possible to undermine Trumps administration and entertain fantasies of impeaching him and throwing him out of office.
In other words they want to negate your vote and install a puppet government that they will have control of instead of the voters.

We need to keep that in mind at all times and especially during the next midterm elections.

The Great Shrinking Labor Force

Normally one of the first things people think of when others are having financial difficulty is to counsel them to get a job.
Well at least that was the way it used to be before Obama and the democrats lied their way into office and then proceeded to destroy the economy.
The job market has been shrinking steadily under Obama  to the point that some people have been out of the job market so long that most employers, who are being squeezed by Obamacare mandates and regulations, can't financially take a chance hiring someone with rusty job skills.
Others are so discouraged or close enough to retirement that they have dropped out of the job market altogether.

People Not In Labor Force Soar To Record 91.8 Million; Participation Rate Plunges To 1978 Levels
Curious why despite the huge miss in payrolls the unemployment rate tumbled from 7.0% to 6.7%? The reason is because in December the civilian labor force did what it usually does in the New Normal: it dropped from 155.3 million to 154.9 million, which means the labor participation rate just dropped to a fresh 35 year low, hitting levels not seen since 1978, at 62.8% down from 63.0%.~snip~
Have no fear though because the democrats got your back.
Their solution is to pull back on employer mandates and work to come up with a solution to Obamacare.....OK I'm just kidding.
Their answer is to expand unemployment insurance into what looks like perpetuity.

Reid backs down in unemployment fight
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) says he is now open to considering Republican amendments to a bill extending emergency unemployment benefits through most of 2014.
On Thursday, Reid clashed with several Republicans after saying he didn't want to consider any changes to an amended version of the bill. Reid's amendment paid for an 11-month extension by extending the sequester for another year, into 2024.
Republicans have other ideas on how to pay for the benefits, but Reid dismissed them.~snip~
Democrats aren't the only ones to blame here the republican minority should be fighting hard trying to find ways to get government out of the way so businesses can grow and hire more.
What we are witnessing is government at its most successful, expanding itself and creating dependency to justify its ever expanding reach.

Job Prospects Still Suck

With the liberal/commie media focusing on blaming the republicans for the government shut down and trying to spin the dismal launch of Obamacare the unavailability of good jobs for the middle class went under the radar.

I'm sure that's not the case for people trapped trying to find any employment available, part or full time.

The jobs report was totally blech. And it may get worse.
Soft. Tepid. Blech. Meh.
Choose your non-inspiring adjective, possibly in Yiddish, and it nicely describes the long-awaited September jobs report. It wasn't terrible by any stretch -- the nation added 148,000 jobs, and the unemployment rate edged down a tenth of a percent to 7.2 percent. But it is far short of the kind of robust jobs recovery that Americans have been waiting for these last four long years.
If there is any good news to be found, it is that the unemployment rate is now the lowest it has been since November 2008. But, two important observations: November 2008 was hardly the best of times for the U.S. economy. And much of that decline has occurred because of people dropping out of the workforce; the ratio of Americans who have a job is basically unchanged over the last four years.
Indeed, if there is a trend at all, it is in the wrong direction. In the first six months of 2013, the nation averaged 195,000 net new jobs a month. In the last three months, that average has been a mere 143,000. And as a reminder, this is a report covering September, before the government shutdown and debt ceiling showdown that rattled consumer and business confidence. While we won't necessarily see direct evidence of that disruption in the October numbers (due out Nov. 8), what is clear is that the weak September numbers can't be chalked up to one-time disruptions coming from Washington.~snip~
Welcome to the new reality of the Obama/democrats economy and with this they force everyone into an incompetently run, overpriced  government mandated healthcare debacle.
When Bill and Hillary tried the universal health care thing they failed because there were enough people in the workforce doing well and could afford to insure themselves. They didn't want or need the government to give them stuff so they rejected it.
Now that Obama and the democrats have destroyed the economy and shrunk the middle class there's enough people who'll qualify for subsidies to make the over priced over bloated government offering a choice of last resort.

Obama to "Pivot" on Jobs, Depending on Global Warming.

Obama, sabotaging the middle class since 2008.

Obama criticizes pro-Keystone pipeline jobs, gas price claims
President Obama said the proposed Keystone XL oil sands pipeline would not be a major job creator and could increase gasoline prices, but added that the White House decision will rest on climate change
“Republicans have said that this would be a big jobs generator. There is no evidence that that’s true,” Obama said in a New York Times interview published Saturday.
Obama, in some of his most extensive remarks ever on the pipeline, also said Canada could “potentially be doing more” to curb emissions from the oil sands.
His comments follow his closely watched late June pledge that Keystone XL would only receive a federal permit if the “net” effects of the pipeline would not “significantly exacerbate” carbon pollution.~snip~
Where he gets the idea that approval for the pipeline wouldn't create jobs is a mystery to me but I gotta give him the credit for realizing that gasoline prices will rise. But not because of the Keystone XL pipeline but because of the the EPA's obstinate obstructionism to building more refineries.

As far as the "climate change" scare tactic well, there hasn't been any global warming for at least the last 15+ years.

So much for the Obama "pivot".

Obama's Assassination of the Middle Class

So basically Obama gives his major speech on his "pivot" on jobs and resurrecting the middle class and it ends up being the same old, same old.

You know it's gotta be a stinker when even the liberal/commie Yahoo news posts an article telling Obama there ain't much he can do about it.
Even though the article tries to blame the republican congress the majority of commentators ain't buying it.

There's lots that Obama can do about the employment situation and they won't cost taxpayers a dime.
For one thing he can repeal the god awful Obamacare legislation, I mean the problems with that are to numerous to mention but it is a major impediment.
Lowering tax rates on businesses and scaling back on the EPA and loosening environmental obstacles that prevent us from building more refineries for gasoline and all the other products that come from crude oil would be a start.
But see, fighting for the middle class is not on the agenda for Obama and his liberal/commie administration.
Sucking up to left wing special interests groups is.
That's why we now have so many Americans leaving the labor force and why food stamp participation is so high.

If Obama really wants to help the middle class then all he has to do is get out of the way the free enterprise system will do the rest.

Wee Wee'ed Up

I don't know about anybody else but I'm getting a little tired about Obama getting all worked up over stuff that in the here and now don't matter worth a shit.

Background check plan defeated in Senate, Obama rips gun bill opponents

The Senate on Wednesday defeated a vital background check amendment seen as the linchpin to Democrats' gun control bill, dealing a major setback to President Obama -- who lashed out at opponents in unusually blunt terms during remarks from the Rose Garden.
"All in all, this was a pretty shameful day for Washington," Obama said, accusing the gun lobby of lying about the bill.
The vote was 54-46, with supporters falling six votes short of the required 60-vote threshold.~snip~
I mean this is almost constant, this administrations focus on silly stuff and not bothering to do something about the dismal number of jobs created last month. Or the number of people forced out of the workforce because........there ain't no jobs out there.
Hey Obama!!!
How about doing something about all the businesses that have to cut their workers hours because of Obamacare, that more and more don't want?

Want to get fired up about something Obama?
How about you stop finding ways to circumvent a constitutional right and get angry about the rules and regulations your administration and the commie democrats put in place to over burden business and kill jobs.

So far, on what really matters, your as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

Surviving Hope and Change

Unfortunately it doesn't do any good to say I told you so but I don't see how anyone can spin this into a positive.
Unemployment is down because so many people have given up. Simply because the jobs are not out there.

People Not In Labor Force Soar By 663,000 To 90 Million, Labor Force Participation Rate At 1979 Levels
Things just keep getting worse for the American worker, and by implication US economy, where as we have shown many times before, it pays just as well to sit back and collect disability and various welfare and entitlement checks, than to work .The best manifestation of this: the number of people not in the labor force which in March soared by a massive 663,000 to a record 90 million Americans who are no longer even looking for work. This was the biggest monthly increase in people dropping out of the labor force since January 2012, when the BLS did its census recast of the labor numbers. And even worse, the labor force participation rate plunged from an already abysmal 63.5% to 63.3% - the lowest since 1979! But at least it helped with the now painfully grotesque propaganda that the US unemployment rate is "improving."~snip~
For those who need charts they are at the link.
Unfortunately it's just not the democrats and pandering RINO's who don't understand how the economy works. Just go to facebook and choose some liberal "progressive" time lines and behold the number of ninnies that are out there.

There's one guy I read who claims that if only the minimum wage was raised by several dollars then welfare will basically disappear................ I know right?

I realize that there are some people who would rather sit back and collect from uncle sugar and not bother to work at all but the reality is that Obama and the democrats are doing everything they can to stifle business and kill jobs. A lot of those who've dropped out of the workforce for disability, welfare and other entitlement benefits are doing it to survive.
Want to stimulate hiring?
Remove the uncertainty of Obamacare, get the democrats to quit threatening to raise taxes, create a budget and repeal bullshit regulations that burden business.
Do at least that much and then see what the participation rate is or we can continue on this path and see if we can out malaise the Jimmy Carter era.

For Maxine Waters Math is Hard

You would think that someone on Maxine's staff would do a little fact checking before she goes on camera and tries to gin everyone up about sequester apocalypse.
170 million is slightly more than a little less of 150 million workers we have.

The good news is that her number is closer than the 500 million people who would lose their job every month that ex speaker Blinky warned us about 4 years ago.

Of course accuracy was never a strong point among liberal democrat fear mongers.

The Half Empty President

Seems to me this is a fitting way for Obama to end his campaign.
Obama Ends Campaign in Half-Empty Arena
President Obama’s big rally tonight turned out to be just like his first, opening salvo of the 2012 campaign: a half-empty arena in Ohio. According toRealClearPolitics’ Scott Conroy, there were “empty seats scattered around the upper-level of Nationwide Arena … Four years ago, after all, Obama was easily filling venues larger than that …” The event even featured Bruce Springsteen and Jay-Z, and Obama still couldn’t fill it out.
The reason I refer to him as a "half empty" president is because there are people who believe that he has actually accomplished something in the last four years.
Like high jacking health care, allowing gays to serve openly in the military, giving multi-billion bailouts to corrupt unions, suppressing business, pissing away billions of dollars on failed "green energy" companies, killing the coal industry, driving the cost of gasoline to double, expanding food stamps and unemployment.
If these things are important to you then you believe he's a success and deserves four more years.

If jobs, prosperity, freedom, a balanced budget and hopeful future are important to you then he's a failed president and needs to be replaced.
Believe it or not there are people who think he's doing a good job and there is nothing anyone can do to change their mind. The real problem is if there are enough to re-elect this abject failure.
If Obama garners enough votes after his piss poor performance then it makes me wonder if our country deserves to be exceptional. If enough people vote for another four years of this loser then maybe we deserve mediocrity.

I hope that's not the case and tomorrow will be a new beginning for America.
Please Vote!!

Even Bill Clinton Knows the Truth

"Governor Romney's argument is, we're not fixed, so fire him and put me in," said Clinton. "It is true we're not fixed. When President Obama looked into the eyes of that man who said in the debate, I had so much hope four years ago and I don't now, I thought he was going to cry. Because he knows that it's not fixed."
He's right....it's time to fire Obama and fix the economy so we can create jobs and opportunities.

Obamanomics: No Surprise Here

The trend of higher unemployment continues, good thing Obama has that gay marriage and immigration thing to talk about huh?

Jobless Claims Rise Above Expectations
Initial jobless claims were just reported. After last week's jump in claims, economists had expected 383k to file first-time claims for unemployment benefits. The actual number was slightly higher; 387k filed claims. Last weeks report of 386K filing claims (which was also higher than expected) was revised higher, to 389k claims. It is very likely that this weeks number will be revised higher next week. This is not a good trend.
The next two jobs reports may very well decide November's election. May's lousy jobs report surprised many people and shocked Democrats and the media. Polls since then have showed a steady drop in Obama's support.
On July 6th, we will get June's jobs report. Based on recent initial jobless claims numbers, it is hard to see who that report will be much of an improvement over May's. We'll likely see very low levels of hiring or, even, an actual drop in the number of jobs.
The next jobs reports before the election will come on August 3, September 7, October 5 and November 2. The reports in August and September are probably the last that will impact the election. After that voters will have their expectations on the economy "set" and will be unlikely to be persuaded otherwise unless there is an unprecedented spike in hiring in the October or November reports.
I don't see things changing anytime soon, November can't come soon enough.

Hey, at Least He's Happy.......

.........About Obama's new immigration policy.

Mexican President thanks Obama for New Immigration Policy
LOS CABOS, Mexico - The Mexican president and host of the G20 Summit praised President Obama for his administration's new immigration policy announced last week. "I would like to thank personally, and on behalf of the Mexican nation, President Barack Obama for his valuable decision by executive order to give an opportunity for young people who were not born in the United States," President Felipe Calderón said Monday morning.
On Friday the American leader announced a halt to the deportation of young illegal immigrants brought to the U. S. before the age of 16, if they meet a list of criteria including living in the country for at least five continuous years and having no criminal record. The Obama administration says this will cut down on low priority deportations and free up resources for the Department of Homeland Security to focus on higher security threats. Critics say the policy shift amounts to backdoor amnesty for illegals.
Speaking in Spanish at their first bilateral meeting of the summit, Calderon called the decision a "humanitarian action" and "a great piece of news for Mexicans.
U.S. citizens suffering a high, lingering unemployment rate, mortgages underwater and looking at huge federal deficits into the far future not so much.
While Obama does his best to pander to every special interest group he can trying to buy enough votes to win re-election the forgotten man/woman continue to suffer under his job and business killing policies.

Go ahead Obama, continue to neglect the middle class worker, we won't forget come November.

Grading Obama

This has got to rank right up there with one of the stupidest requests a campaign can ever make.

Obama's campaign asks supporters to grade its performance

President Obama’s campaign is calling on supporters to grade its performance amid a difficult early June for his reelection bid against presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney.
“This campaign is ramping up, and the decisions we make right now will shape our path to victory in November,” said campaign manager Jim Messina in an email to supporters sent Saturday night.
“That's why I want your input, because you are the ones building this campaign on the ground in your community. We want to know from you what's working, what we could be doing better, what you care about, and what you're hearing about the President and this campaign,” said Messina.
So he cares what his supporters think but has a tin ear when it comes to the rest of the voters? He thinks the private sector is doing "fine".
Obama walked that back later in the day but you have got to wonder if he realizes what joblessness means to the more than 23 million Americans out of work?
8.2% unemployment is just a number, it shields the democrats from seeing the real problems that it causes.
I doubt that there will ever be an accurate account of those who have dropped out of the job market or people forced to collect their social security benefits earlier than they wanted to due to the incompetent handling of this economy.
If Obama wants to be graded let him wait until November.
The forgotten men/women of this country will give him the grade he deserves.
