Lalala We Can't Hear You!!!

As society rushes to alter the fabric of the family there are some out there who are attempting to take a look at what the possible consequences will be to future generations.

A Married Mom and Dad Really Do Matter: New Evidence from Canada
There is a new and significant piece of evidence in the social science debate about gay parenting and the unique contributions that mothers and fathers make to their children’s flourishing. A study published last week in the journal Review of the Economics of the Household—analyzing data from a very large, population-based sample—reveals that the children of gay and lesbian couples are only about 65 percent as likely to have graduated from high school as the children of married, opposite-sex couples. And gender matters, too: girls are more apt to struggle than boys, with daughters of gay parents displaying dramatically low graduation rates.
Unlike US-based studies, this one evaluates a 20 percent sample of the Canadian census, where same-sex couples have had access to all taxation and government benefits since 1997 and to marriage since 2005.
While in the US Census same-sex households have to be guessed at based on the gender and number of self-reported heads-of-household, young adults in the Canadian census were asked, “Are you the child of a male or female same-sex married or common law couple?” While study author and economist Douglas Allen noted that very many children in Canada who live with a gay or lesbian parent are actually living with a single mother—a finding consonant with that detected in the 2012 New Family Structures Study—he was able to isolate and analyze hundreds of children living with a gay or lesbian couple (either married or in a “common law” relationship akin to cohabitation).
So the study is able to compare—side by side—the young-adult children of same-sex couples and opposite-sex couples, as well as children growing up in single-parent homes and other types of households.~snip~
There are those who have a vested interest in the outcome who have claimed that these kinds of studies have already been debunked. Mostly by attacking the methodology of the studies, it's unfortunate that the same scrutiny hasn't been used on the limited studies they cite that supposedly do the debunking.

Unfortunately it appears that society is dead set on handing over generations of children to try and survive in dysfunctional family units without a fair airing of the consequences that might ensue. I mean it's not like the liberal/commie media will report on any studies that might cast doubt on the catechism of "gay rights" and how it might affect any children trapped in the grip of homosexual equality.
Opposing evidence or opinions are not allowed.

Someday, in the not to distant future, there will be a generation that will stand before society who will demand to know why we allowed  them to be set up for failure when the possible evidence was staring us in the face.
The poorest response we could give is the "the gays made us do it".

How to Win Friends.....

....on the abortion debate?
Call on Satan!!

Or you could just exploit little children in an attempt to push your ghoulish agenda.

I'm really interested to see how they are going to spin "abortion rights" as being "for the children".

I can't really understand what the big deal is with the pro-murder a child in the womb groups, all this bill does is limit abortions to 20 weeks and lays out a few requirements to make abortion a little safer.
Isn't that what Roe vs. Wade was supposed to do?
Make abortion clean and safe, for the woman anyway.
I find it amazing that not even Kermit Gosnell wasn't enough to make some women take a pause for a moment and consider what is really at stake here.

Abandoning "Hope and Change" Dems go for Gay Marriage

So with unemployment staying stagnant at 8% and above for over three years and women and minorities being hardest hit along with the GDP shrinking towards a dribble ,finally the democratic party has a platform that they can really get behind.

Democrats Draft Gay Marriage Platform

Democrats appear ready to embrace same-sex marriage as part of their party platform, a policy shift that reflects an expanded acceptance of gay rights in mainstream politics.
The move would place the party in line with the beliefs of President Obama, who in May became the first sitting president to declare that gay men and lesbians should be able to marry.
Democratic Party officials had squabbled over the issue in the past. But at a platform-drafting meeting over the weekend in Minneapolis, they approved the first step to amend their platform, placing the amendment on track for adoption. In two weeks, the entire platform committee will vote at a meeting scheduled in Detroit. Then, if approved as expected, it would go before convention delegates in Charlotte, N.C., for final passage in early September
Glad to see they got their priorities straight. I guess since they can't seem to do anything about the other stuff they decided to give up on improving the economy and go to something else their good at whining about.

I mean what could be better than having gay married couples join the ranks of families losing their jobs, running out their unemployment insurance benefits, go on food stamps, lose their homes and end up living in over crowded shelters or on the streets?

There's some "equality" for you.
