In all the talk about rights and "gay marriage" not a lot of discussion has been had about the collateral damage done to children raised by "gay" parents.
They will be the causalities left behind in the culture war.

What liberals ignore 'about the children' and immigration

When it comes to the flood of illegal immigrant children coming across the border and overwhelming the agencies trying to help them there is an abundance of hand wringing and demands for compassion.
 There's not a lot of that when it comes to the rising death toll that occurs when people who are ill equipped or weakened by disease expire in the heat of the desert.

For the last two years, Professor Lori Baker of Baylor University has been lending her expertise to helping identify the bodies of those who tried and failed to sneak into our country through the forbidden landscape at our southern border.
But this year, she is seeing something different. Professor Baker told Waco's KXXV TV that they have been seeing the bodies of children more often this year. "I think it's something right now where we're in a crisis," Baker told the TV news. "Now with the number of immigrants coming and the number of children, it's a disastrous situation."
The job is a complicated and often fruitless one, as the professor and her students have to work with multiple agencies in multiple countries. These multiple languages, various bureaucracies, and sometimes even distrust between nations complicate her job.~snip~

I really haven't seen a whole of reporting on the senseless loss of life that occurs because of the constant open border advocacy by liberal/progressives, Obama and the democrats. Republicans aren't blameless either but democrats can minimize this loss of life by closing the borders and to stop encouraging illegals, especially children, to make the journey in the hopes of fading away into the country.
There just doesn't seem to be the same level of compassion from liberal/progressives for the children who die and their bodies are left alone in the desert to be picked apart by scavengers.
This hypocrisy shouldn't be much of a surprise. Anyone who's been paying attention knows that liberal/progressives care about no one. Not gays,not minorities, not women and certainly not children.
All they care about is advancing their agenda, which is to turn the United States into their twisted version of socialist nanny state.

3rd-Graders Caught Smoking Pot In Sonora School Bathroom

SONORA (CBS SF) — Three third-grade students at a Sonora elementary school were busted for smoking pot in the school’s bathroom last week.
Two 8-year-olds and a 9-year-old were caught by another student, who immediately informed school administrators.  Those officials then alerted local police.
The students were questioned by officers, and later released to their parents on February 27th.
Sonora Elementary School Principal Chris Boyles would not speak with CBS SF regarding the case, but Superintendent Leigh Shampain confirmed that the students were caught smoking marijuana in the school’s bathroom.  He would not discuss how the students might be disciplined.
“(I’m) shocked. To be in third grade and have their own pipe,” parent Linda Rodriguez commented to KTXL-TV. “I think they should be expelled, but I also think they should follow it further to where they found (the drugs).”
The case was forwarded to the Tuolumne County Probation Department.

I'm really interested to see how they are going to spin "abortion rights" as being "for the children".

I can't really understand what the big deal is with the pro-murder a child in the womb groups, all this bill does is limit abortions to 20 weeks and lays out a few requirements to make abortion a little safer.
Isn't that what Roe vs. Wade was supposed to do?
Make abortion clean and safe, for the woman anyway.
I find it amazing that not even Kermit Gosnell wasn't enough to make some women take a pause for a moment and consider what is really at stake here.

The Cold War Continues

Almost all the time I was growing up communism was the greatest threat we as country faced. I even got a certificate that designated me as a cold warrior a couple of years ago for my service in the 70's.
But the fact is we didn't win it, it just moved to this country and the communists have infiltrated the media, congress, unions and academia..........and we are losing.

As a grandfather, I got to tell you that this is a little disturbing.

Bookstore apologizes after man claims he was ejected for being alone in children's section

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. –  Barnes & Noble has apologized after a senior citizen said staff at one of the retail giant's Arizona stores ejected him because he was on his own in the children's area.
Omar Amin claimed a store worker told him a female shopper had complained he was in the children's area in the store in Scottsdale, The Arizona Republic reported.
The 73-year-old, who was alone at the time, said he was in the store to buy books for his two grandchildren, who live in Wisconsin.
He told the newspaper, "Men alone cannot be by themselves in the children's area."
Mark Bottini, Barnes & Noble vice president and director of stores, issued a statement Monday apologizing to Amin.

The idea that every time an elderly gentleman enters a section of a store that sells items for children being branded as.....what?
Some kind of lecherous perv who needs supervision every time he browses for something to buy for his grandchildren?
Because of one paranoid shopper?
I would think that brick and motor stores would be a little more conscious of their customers seeing as how there are alternatives out there for spending ones money.
Society has been reduced to being in fear of the perpetually aggrieved, the lone voice that feels compelled to speak before engaging their brain.
This man had every right to shop for his family, but incidences like these are what's going to drive more and more people online to purchase items.
That way we don't have to suffer the presence of idiots.
