What To Do If You Are Attacked

These tips are designed to help you protect yourself on campus, in town, at your home, or while you travel.  These are preventative tips and are designed to instruct you in crime prevention tactics.
1.Be realistic about your ability to protect yourself.
2.Your instinct may be to scream, go ahead!  It may startle your attacker and give you an opportunity to run away.
3.Kick off your shoes if you have time and can't run in them.
4.Don't take time to look back; just get away.
5.If your life is in danger, passive resistance may be your best defense.
6.Tell your attacker that you have a disease or are menstruating.
7.Vomiting or urinating may also convince the attacker to leave you alone.
8.Yelling, hitting or biting may give you a chance to escape, do it!
9.Understand that some actions on your part might lead to more harm.
10.Remember, every emergency situation is different.  Only you can decide which action is most appropriate.  

What liberals are trying to do is create a nation of victims, number 8 is the only tip that really suggests active defense followed closely by number 9. Which is basically liberal speech for "accept the inevitability and <insert alternative here>".
 Notice mace and pepper spray are omitted, I wonder if that's a tacit admission that they rarely work?
Personally I'd prefer that the attacker does the urinating while facing down the barrel of a 9mm Glock.

Wow, sometimes I wonder where feminists come up with things to be outraged about. It's OK for them to dress up in vagina costumes but somehow theres a whole slew of them who cringe at the word "panties".

Every month or so, I receive a glossy coupon from Victoria's Secret in my mailbox. "Free panty!" it beckons. "No purchase necessary!"
Reading those words, I cringe a little bit. Not because I hate underwear—I'm an ardent lover of underwear. It's because I hate the word "panty." I hate the plural form of "panty" as well. "Panties" creeps me out.
And apparently I'm not alone. In addition to a slew of blog posts and message boards denouncing the word, The Huffington Post's Zoë Triska named it "the worst word ever." Cracked.com included "panties" in its list of the "Five Words That Need To Be Banned From English."

My questions about this are several, for one thing I had a buddy from Great Britain who referred to them as frilly undies. So it seems to me that the term "panties" ain't carved in stone. Either works well for me.
The next question I got to ask is where is the outrage from feminists over all the woman and children forced into poverty due to Obama's and the democrats policies?
I mean if they really care about women's issues I would think the space used for this article would have been better served by pointing out the number of working mothers who've lost their jobs since the Obamessiah ascended to the presidency and to pointedly ask what the hell he is going to do about it.

But no, what we get here is just another distraction from real issues that affect real people because the liberal press and feminists have to prop up Obama and cover for him by avoiding the truth at all costs.

So yeah lets get all weewee'd up over what to call panties, I'm sure the democrat party appreciates it.

She and her fellow democrat travelers have no problem confiscating  the hard earned wages of us unwashed masses but you even hint at cutting the pay of congress and she gets all snippy.

Pelosi: Congressional pay cut undermines dignity of the job

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that she opposes a cut in congressional pay because it would diminish the dignity of lawmakers' jobs.
"I don't think we should do it; I think we should respect the work we do," Pelosi told reporters in the Capitol. "I think it's necessary for us to have the dignity of the job that we have rewarded."
The comments were made in the context of the looming sequester, which would force across-the-board cuts affecting most federal offices, including Congress. With lawmakers nowhere near a deal to avert those cuts, federal agencies are bracing for ways to absorb them with minimum damage to programs and personnel.

I wonder if ex speaker Blinky engages her brain before she opens her mouth? Hey Nance!!! What about the dignity of the hard working individual and business owners who's pay you have no problem cutting to pay for your over indulgence in funding useless government programs?
I could go for the dignity of being able to keep some of the money I work for.

Church Says Wounded Warrior Project Refused Their Money

A Christian church and school in Florida are devastated after they said Wounded Warrior Project refused to accept their fund raising effort because it was “religious in nature.”
“We were heartbroken,” said Wallace Cooley, pastor of Liberty Baptist Church and Academy in Fort Pierce, Fla.
Cooley said they had already paid a $100 registration fee to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project and were about to launch the campaign when they received an email from the organization.
The church had planned on taking up a special offering on the last Sunday in February and students were collecting money from family and friends.
“We must decline the opportunity to be the beneficiary of your event due to our fundraising event criteria, which doesn’t allow community events to be religious in nature,” read an email from the WWP community events team. “Please note your registration fee will be refunded within the next 7-10 business days.”~snip~

Is WWP concerned that if they accept donations from a group of Christians that the tightfisted  scrooges of the left and their useful idiot atheists won't contribute funds to their charity. Cause we all know how much progressives and atheists care about those in the military. Because that's what they are known for, their charitable works with the poor and downtrodden.

OK I'm done laughing now.
Charitable giving is what Christians do.......I mean how many soup kitchens are created and run by atheists? How many homeless shelters are established and run on donations by progressives?
Come on WWP, the backlash you have to worry about is not from atheists and liberal democrats cause they don't give a shit about wounded warriors, the back lash will come from those you humiliate when they try and help.
There's plenty of other charities out there that will happily take their money to help wounded veterans.

For 40 Years, This Russian Family Was Cut Off From All Human Contact, Unaware of World War II

The old man's name was Karp Lykov, and he was an Old Believer—a member of a fundamentalist Russian Orthodox sect, worshiping in a style unchanged since the 17th century. I realized while I was reading this article that the attacks against Christianity in this country is doomed to failure. Sure there are plenty of fair weather Christians who will moderate their beliefs or even abandon them under the pressure of contemporary society. But there will also be those who will endure any hardship, any deprivation to live and worship as they please.
These people outlasted their oppressors.
No matter how long the decandent left will endure there will always be those who hold to their beliefs, and they will endure long after those who wish to deny us our rights to believe and worship as we please are long gone.

Whelp, here we go again with the never ending amnesty of illegal immigrants with the entrenched RINO's falling all over themselves to out amnesty Obama's amnesty and prove to illegals that the GOP *hearts* them more than the Obamessiah.
Hell even the unions love illegals now that their membership is declining and dues dwindling done. Another group for them to exploit and collect millions for distribution to their democrat party overlords.
What a racket huh?

We're getting ready to force people into Obamacare, we can't really make a dent in the number of citizens who are unemployed but now we're going to allow millions more to compete for jobs and benefits.
Oh....and we're going to run out of money for it all eventually and then have millions more in line with us to get their bowl of soup and slice of bread.

But the good news is that the RINO's are getting advice on how to pass illegal immigration reform from none other than Hispanic groups.


Hispanic Group to GOP on Immigration: Avoid Saying 'Illegals,' 'Amnesty,' 'Reagan'

A moderate Republican Hispanic group in favor of comprehensive immigration reform wrote a memo to GOP lawmakers urging them to watch their tone.
The Hispanic Leadership Network wrote the memo to GOP lawmakers on the day a bipartisan group of Senators announced a framework for a comprehensive immigration reform deal. The note encouraged Republicans not to use words like "illegals," "anchor babies," "Reagan," and "amnesty" if they want to pass comprehensive immigration reform. The advice came on the eve of President Barack Obama's announcement of his immigration reform proposal Tuesday.
In the memo, the group urges Republicans to acknowledge that "our current immigration system is broken and we need to fix it." The group believes saying things like "we are against amnesty" makes people think Republicans will be opposed to any immigration reform plan.
In addition, the group also believes Republicans should use "earned legal status" instead of "pathway to citizenship" when discussing the various forms of amnesty that may be included in the bill. Regarding border security, the group advises Republicans to say "enforcement of our borders includes more border patrol, technology, and building a fence where it makes sense," while avoiding phrases like "send them all back," "electric fence," and "build a wall along the entire border."~snip~
