RINO's Lay Down for Amnesty

This should be the symbol of the GOP.

The 75 Republicans who voted to fund Obama’s amnesty: Remember these names
House Republicans, led by Speaker John Boehner, caved in to Democrat demands and passed a “clean” funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday.
The bill includes funding for Obama’s executive amnesty actions, a sticking point for conservatives.
The legislation provides funding for Obama’s move to shield about 5 million illegals from deportation.
Boehner and the Republicans who passed the bill picked the same day as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address before Congress — perhaps using it as cover to push the bill through with less major media attention.<snip>
Click the link to see who the spineless assholes are who want to be besties with Obama and the liberal/commie democrats.
Obviously it's not enough to vote for someone simply because he has an R after his name.

Democrats in Republican Clothing

Just because a candidate has an "R" beside his name doesn't necessarily mean he's going to vote to change things in Washington.

Conservatives Lambaste 20 GOP Senators Who Voted for Amnesty
(CNSNews.com) – There is a growing backlash against 20 Senate Republicans who less than a month ago publicly stated that  President Obama’s executive amnesty was unconstitutional, only to turn around and vote in favor of funding it last week, conservative leaders say.
“This was easy. All of them said they were against amnesty. All they had to do was press a button,” Ken Cuccinelli, president of the Senate Conservatives Fund, told CNSNews.com.
“For them to roll over so close to an election in which Obamacare, executive amnesty, and Obama’s massive and lawless expansion of presidential power were the top three issues is pretty amazing.”
Cuccinelli said he is “shocked” that 20 Senate Republicans “defected from the Constitution, defected from the Founding Fathers,” noting that the grassroots is indignant over what it correctly views as a betrayal of conservative principles.
“We just had a judge yesterday reconfirm that what the president did was unconstitutional. There’s no good excuse for what they did, which was to vote completely contrary to their own recent remarks,” Cuccinelli added. “This is beyond any reasonable understanding, unless they did not really believe what they were saying.”~snip~
Polls have consistently shown that the  American people are opposed to Obamacare,Amnesty and Obama's abuse of power by clear majorities and yet even when we elect representatives to oppose these, and other things, the RINOs side with the oppressors.

Companies Pushing Amnesty for Short Term Exploitation

57.5 million Americans either looking for work or forced out of the labor market and these companies want to open the borders.

Cheesecake Factory, Hallmark, Disney, and Others Now Pushing Amnesty
Officials representing over 100 corporate interests issued a letter to Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) demanding the legalization of 11 million illegal aliens and increased legal immigration through the creation of new visa programs. As these companies put it in their letter:
[W]e strongly support efforts to bolster the availability of a workforce at all skills levels, through a separate visa program as well as by creating a path to legal status for those already here.
The companies include well-known names like Hallmark Cards, Disney, CVS, the Cheesecake Factory, American Airlines, Wendy's, McDonald's, the Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Coca-Cola, T-Mobile, AT&T, UPS, Rubbermaid, and McCormick spices — just to name a few examples.
These companies cite a recent Congressional Budget Office report, arguing that the Senate bill would grow the economy. They conveniently left out the CBO estimate that even though the amnesty might make the economy larger, it would simultaneously make American workers poorer by lowering the wages of American workers for a decade or more. The companies claim the bill is an "opportunity to level the playing field for U.S. employers" but it is more of an effort to level the wages of American citizens.~snip~
A list of the companies pushing for this is at the link.
I lived in Fort Smith Arkansas in the mid 80's and they were inundated with Vietnamese, Cambodians and Laotians after being housed at Fort Chaffee, not all left the area after their screenings and the chicken plants that were owned by Tyson and OK foods hired these immigrants by the hundreds.
These plants originally came to the area to exploit the residents living there with poor wages and working conditions because there wasn't a whole lot of jobs at the time.
As the city grew some and better opportunities arose the chicken plants found it harder to find residents willing to work for them. The immigrants from Fort Chaffee where a gold mine for them, the Vietnamese, Cambodians and Laotians (who were not fluent in english) were glad to come and work for them for what they offered because their opportunities were very limited.
Truth is it only lasted for a generation or so as most of their children learned english, became better educated and took advantage of better opportunities.
The population of Vietnamese, Cambodians and Laotians has gone down considerably over the years and to fill the gap the aforementioned chicken plants turned to illegal aliens from Mexico. Whatever the legal outcomes the point is that there are a lot of companies out there that want to import labor because it's cheap at first. For them it's worth it to keep wages low for a few years and then move on to the next group when workers expectations rise.
If we continue to grant amnesty then the issue of illegal immigration will never go away because some businesses will always look for the next wave to take advantage of.
If we want a future for our children and grandchildren then the line must be drawn.

The Two Faces of John McCain

I found this video of John McCain facing his constituents at a town hall meeting on my timeline on facebook and found it kind of interesting on a couple of levels.
Aside from the guy telling him if it was up to him McCain and most  politicians in DC should be arrested for treason for aiding and abetting the enemy. When if you think about it it's about the only conclusion you can come to because it seems that they do their best to support Al-Qaeda in Libya, Egypt and Syria.

His response is basically it's beneath him to dignify the accusation. Even though it seems pretty apparent that he wants to provide air support for Al-Qaeda terrorists in Syria.
The other thing that struck me though was his assertion that he's been re-elected 8 times so that signifies to him that his constituents in Arizona approve of what he's doing. (even though there is an attempt to recall him)

But the fact is to get re-elected the last time he pretty much out and out lied about his position on amnesty and people might have figured that he learned his lesson about listening to those who elected him.

Remember this?

He got himself re-elected and then turned right around and started working for amnesty again dragging Marco Rubio down the RINO hole with him.

The point is that in John McCain's mind he get elected again so he owes the voters nothing, he answers to no one but John McCain. The fact is if he decides to run again he'll just lie about giving a damn about the voters......again.
The question is will the voters fall for it a 9th time?

The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Lie

I ran across this article in the Wall Street Journal about some small businessmen in Georgia complaining about having to use E-verify to check and see if anyone applying for a job with them is legally allowed to work in this country.
They ain't liking it at all.

Small Businesses Say U.S. Background-Check System Has Drawbacks
Since January, Daniel VanLoh has turned away nine new dishwashers and one line cook from his four Atlanta, Ga., restaurants within days of hiring them.
The reason: Not one was authorized to work in the U.S., according to background checks he ran on the job applicants using a federal verification system, known as E-Verify.
He says he's now struggling to fill six openings, with some job seekers simply walking away after hearing that the company uses the free, Internet-based system to check their immigration status.
To date, Mr. Van Loh's firm, Rocket Farm Restaurants LLC, has used the system to check 180 recruits. "It has significantly increased our recruiting costs," he says. "We spend time and money recruiting and doing background checks on good candidates, and if the E-Verify comes back with a rejection, we have to start the process all over again."
Recruiting dishwashers is the most difficult. The jobs pay only $8 an hour, or 75 cents more than the federal minimum wage, and they involve a great deal of heavy lifting.
Launched in 1997, E-Verify matches job applicants' Social Security numbers and other identification against a national database kept by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, a federal agency under Homeland Security. Those who return a mismatch are deemed to be unauthorized to work. As of July 20, 467,328 employers nationwide, big and small, were enrolled in the system, according to immigration agency data.~snip~
Of course employers have been supposed to check employees eligibility since Ronald Reagan granted amnesty back in 1986. Where again the promises of controlling the border and worker verification were broken by the leftist/commie obstructionists and illegals continued to flood across until we find ourselves looking at "comprehensive immigration reform again".

The truth of it is that illegal immigrants provide unscrupulous employers with a labor base that they can under pay and exploit at will. These types of employers don't want real immigration reform, what they want is a totally compliant labor base, as one guy who owns a business here said to me "I like hiring illegals because I can work them into the ground and pay them shit and they'll come back for more".
Of course not all employers are like that but there are enough to keep illegals flowing across the border.

What "comprehensive immigration reform" will give them in the short term is a pool of low skilled (read low wage) workers that they will be able to "legally" hire. But how long do you think that will last?
A half generation, a full generation?
Maybe....it depends on how fast unions and socialist backed "workers rights" groups get  to them.
Then they won't be content with low pay, long hours and crappy conditions. Like any other American they'll want a quality of life, higher income and then the whole cycle will begin again.

The answer to illegal immigration is to wean these employers off of the availability of illegal exploitable workers and require all businesses to use E-verify and to fine those employers who hire illegals.
The problem is not just illegals coming here to take American jobs, it's also the employers giving them one.

What are the Chances?

This whole amnesty for illegal trespassing aliens thing has been going on since way before the Obamessiah ascended to the imperial presidency.

GWB was a believer in it along with RINO's deluxe John McCain and Lindsey Graham.

Fortunately for us we were heard and basically they kicked the can down the road instead of moving forward with closing the border and at least making an effort to deport criminal aliens from our country.

What do you think the chances are that the current administration will listen?

Majority of U.S. citizens say illegal immigrants should be deported
(Reuters) - More than half of U.S. citizens believe that most or all of the country's 11 million illegal immigrants should be deported, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday that highlights the difficulties facing lawmakers trying to reform the U.S. immigration system.
The online survey shows resistance to easing immigration laws despite the biggest push for reform in Congress since 2007.
Thirty percent of those polled think that most illegal immigrants, with some exceptions, should be deported, while 23 percent believe all illegal immigrants should be deported.
Only 5 percent believe all illegal immigrants should be allowed to stay in the United States legally, and 31 percent want most illegal immigrants to stay.
These results are in line with other polls in recent years, suggesting that people's views on immigration have not changed dramatically since the immigration debate reignited in Congress last month, according to Ipsos pollster Julia Clark.~snip~
Yeah me neither.
Thing is people had a chance to kick the RINO's out on their fat asses the last election but instead fell for their sudden conversion to protectors of the border.
Dumb de-dumb-dumb, so once again we find ourselves in a defensive position on amnesty with  a president who's tone deaf to the will of the people.
So when the Obamessiah and the RINO's run over us we only got ourselves the blame.

Pay the World

Whelp, here we go again with the never ending amnesty of illegal immigrants with the entrenched RINO's falling all over themselves to out amnesty Obama's amnesty and prove to illegals that the GOP *hearts* them more than the Obamessiah.
Hell even the unions love illegals now that their membership is declining and dues dwindling done. Another group for them to exploit and collect millions for distribution to their democrat party overlords.
What a racket huh?

We're getting ready to force people into Obamacare, we can't really make a dent in the number of citizens who are unemployed but now we're going to allow millions more to compete for jobs and benefits.
Oh....and we're going to run out of money for it all eventually and then have millions more in line with us to get their bowl of soup and slice of bread.

But the good news is that the RINO's are getting advice on how to pass illegal immigration reform from none other than Hispanic groups.

Hispanic Group to GOP on Immigration: Avoid Saying 'Illegals,' 'Amnesty,' 'Reagan'
A moderate Republican Hispanic group in favor of comprehensive immigration reform wrote a memo to GOP lawmakers urging them to watch their tone.
The Hispanic Leadership Network wrote the memo to GOP lawmakers on the day a bipartisan group of Senators announced a framework for a comprehensive immigration reform deal. The note encouraged Republicans not to use words like "illegals," "anchor babies," "Reagan," and "amnesty" if they want to pass comprehensive immigration reform. The advice came on the eve of President Barack Obama's announcement of his immigration reform proposal Tuesday.
In the memo, the group urges Republicans to acknowledge that "our current immigration system is broken and we need to fix it." The group believes saying things like "we are against amnesty" makes people think Republicans will be opposed to any immigration reform plan.
In addition, the group also believes Republicans should use "earned legal status" instead of "pathway to citizenship" when discussing the various forms of amnesty that may be included in the bill. Regarding border security, the group advises Republicans to say "enforcement of our borders includes more border patrol, technology, and building a fence where it makes sense," while avoiding phrases like "send them all back," "electric fence," and "build a wall along the entire border."~snip~

Hey, at Least He's Happy.......

.........About Obama's new immigration policy.

Mexican President thanks Obama for New Immigration Policy
LOS CABOS, Mexico - The Mexican president and host of the G20 Summit praised President Obama for his administration's new immigration policy announced last week. "I would like to thank personally, and on behalf of the Mexican nation, President Barack Obama for his valuable decision by executive order to give an opportunity for young people who were not born in the United States," President Felipe Calderón said Monday morning.
On Friday the American leader announced a halt to the deportation of young illegal immigrants brought to the U. S. before the age of 16, if they meet a list of criteria including living in the country for at least five continuous years and having no criminal record. The Obama administration says this will cut down on low priority deportations and free up resources for the Department of Homeland Security to focus on higher security threats. Critics say the policy shift amounts to backdoor amnesty for illegals.
Speaking in Spanish at their first bilateral meeting of the summit, Calderon called the decision a "humanitarian action" and "a great piece of news for Mexicans.
U.S. citizens suffering a high, lingering unemployment rate, mortgages underwater and looking at huge federal deficits into the far future not so much.
While Obama does his best to pander to every special interest group he can trying to buy enough votes to win re-election the forgotten man/woman continue to suffer under his job and business killing policies.

Go ahead Obama, continue to neglect the middle class worker, we won't forget come November.

The Not Very Presidential President

Pretty arrogant little show here, the President of the United States violates the will of the people and congress, then has the nerve to be angry when questioned about it.

The economy is hanging by a thread, unemployment is high, the middle class has lost 40% of their net worth and the most important thing for Obama to do right now is grant amnesty by executive fiat......and he gets pissy?

There is something definitely wrong with this, congress needs to act now to rein in Obama and shut this down.
