Sydney Leathers backs Anthony Weiner rival

New York City mayoral candidate Christine Quinn just picked up an interesting endorsement — from Sydney Leathers, the young woman at the other end of the phone in the Anthony Weiner sexting scandal.
When asked by Complex magazine whom she would vote for in the mayoral race, Leathers said that Quinn is an “easy” choice.
“Obviously, she doesn’t have the impulse control problems that Anthony has. I love the fact that she is out and proud. I have so many gay friends, and I feel like she would be a great ally for that community. She cares about middle-class people. She cares about students. I feel like she is more in line and up to the standard that should be set for the mayor,” said the 23-year-old, who is now appearing in an X-rated film referencing the Weiner scandal.

Says the skank who's willing to do anything to keep her 15 minutes going. Another in a long line of talent-less bimbos who've gotten more press than they deserve.

I mean it really sickens me to even bring her up but lets face it, the liberal/commie media sticking this kind of crap in our faces is part of their plan to constantly distract us from the serious problems that their anointed one and his cabinet are doing to this country.
Again we're being poorly served by the so-called "watch dogs" against corruption, malfeasance and despotism of our government.

Instead of getting answers about Benghazi, the IRS terrorizing people who oppose Obama, fast and furious, the deficit, the shrinking jobs market and the decimation of the middle class we get to hear about Sydney Leathers opinion and breathlessly told about her plans to do porno.

We need to demand better from the media or find alternatives, let the lemmings have Weiner and Leathers.

So Who Needs CNN, NBC?

I've been kind of reading about the whole deal where the RNC has pretended they have a back bone and sent a letter to CNN and NBC telling them to ditch plans for their slobber fests for Hillary Clinton.
Or there'll be no debates.

Yeah right, the same RNC that supports squishy RINOs like John McCain and Lindsey Graham . You know, the 2 weasels who have spent their careers kissing the behinds of the liberal/commie media and their fellow travelers in the democrat party.
I'm not talking about kissing the well washed  periphery either but the soft gooey center.

Media is changing, the Washington Post was sold at around 25% of what it sold for previously. Liberal media is losing advertisers and readers daily due to the rise in alternatives. "Journalists" no longer have a monopoly over the way people get their news anymore. More people are wanting "reporters" to give them just the facts, not tell us what we should think it means.

So why the hell does the RNC let them dictate the medium and conditions?
 I would think that after the total embarrassment that is Candy Crowley happened they would be seriously rethinking allowing the communist news networks to decide how to present the message.

Truth is if conservatives are going to stick with the RNC then some changes need to happen, the liberal/commie networks need the RNC more than the RNC needs them.
Crawling to the biased media to get our message heard only gives them legitimacy that they don't deserve, and allowing them to dictate conditions gives them power that they can misuse.

We don't need them but they do need us, maybe it's time for the RNC to push back and tell the liberal/commie media how it's going to be instead of the other way around.

If they can do that then there's hope they'll abandon squishy RINOs and get behind some candidates that people will be willing to support for a change.

Takin' Five

Every once in a while I need to get away from the news feeds and let my blood pressure drop towards normal.
A little TV and some good music helps.
I've been watching FX's  excellent new series "The Bridge" which comes on Wednesday nights. I used to live in El Paso, Texas when I was a kid so that is part of the attraction for me but the plot line is pretty good also.

The opening theme song is really haunting so I searched around to see who wrote it and found this.

Obama's Edicts for the Little People

This is something that has always irritated the hell out of me.
The ways the lofty politicians find to exempt themselves from the laws they pass that apply to the rest of us.

Obama Grants Congress Obamacare Reprieve

The Obama administration has granted members of Congress and their staffers an exemption from a provision of Obamacare that could have cost them thousands of dollars a year in added health insurance costs, according to Politico.
Congress currently allots itself generous health coverage through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program. Nearly 75 percent of premiums are taken care of. But under Obamacare, our representatives and their worker bees will be thrown onto the health care exchanges like millions of Americans – without the FEHB subsidy. Fair is fair, right?
Well, just two days after Obama assured Democratic lawmakers he was on the case – though make no mistake, many Republicans want action too – the administration has ruled that while Congress must hit the exchanges, the subsidy for their insurance will continue.
It’s good to be the king. And it’s good to be the nobility too.

Most politicians have made themselves rich while in office way beyond what a lot of us have been able to accumulate.
So why do a bunch of millionaires continue to be exempted from the same costs that any other person making over the threshold for subsidies gets?

Obamacare will be an albatross around the neck of every citizen in this country but as long as our "rulers" avoid being drug down with the rest of us they will never be able to share our pain or pass legislation to correct this boondoggle.

I can't believe that out of 350 million people in this country the current crop of thieves is the best we can do.

Of Course It's a Conspiracy

Found this over at Mediate but I did watch the segment last night.
It's interesting to me how some people seem to be more interested in deflecting the blame for things onto others.
Instead of acknowledging the problem and looking for real solutions this Illinois state rep. would rather argue constituents "suspicions".
It's much easier to give legitimacy to the idea that police are gunning down people than address the reasons why people are murdering each other.

Just another example of failed leadership by an elected official.

Liberals go bug shit over Sandy Hook but the only solution they can come up with is confiscating law abiding citizens guns, anything else and they go into bizarre scare monger mode.

I honestly believe that trained and armed school personnel/staff could have had a chance of saving lives that day. Why is that so hard for liberal/commies to understand?

Union Disrespects Funerals

Teamsters Ordered to Stop Picketing Funeral Homes

A judge ordered one of Chicago’s most politically powerful labor unions to suspend picketing against 16 funeral homes last week after receiving reports that striking Teamsters had, among other things, disturbed a child’s funeral.
SCI Illinois Services, Inc., one of the nation’s largest funeral home chains, asked a district court to intervene after striking funeral directors and drivers with Teamsters Local 727 allegedly harassed grieving families.
“We are grateful that the court agreed to issue this temporary restraining order, and we are hopeful that it will help protect grieving families who are experiencing the most difficult times of their lives,” Larry Michael, managing director for SCI Illinois Services, Inc., said in a release. “While we recognize and respect the Teamsters’ right to lawfully picket, we have been shocked and saddened by their attempts to make grieving families the target of the cruel and outrageous attacks.”
The company testified in its filing that union members blocked grieving family members from leaving its parking lot, used bullhorns to shout obscenities at workers and mourners, and unleashed a German Shepard on a dead woman’s daughter and husband.
The funeral home was eventually forced to call the police when picketers allegedly disrupted a child’s funeral with laughter. The officer asked the Teamsters to leave, but protesters returned when he drove away.
“We will be here for the visitation; we will be here for your funeral,” Teamster driver Lester Plewa allegedly shouted into a bullhorn as a funeral director met with a dying man planning his arrangements with family members.~snip~

So where's the outrage?
 I wonder if the liberal/commie media will give the same kind of coverage to these thugs disrupting peoples private grief like they did the for the weirdos of Westboro?
