I think one of the things most Americans despise is bullies.
A great example of that is the ABC57 reporter who asked gotcha questions to the owner of Memories Pizza and she naively answered truthfully.
The whole purpose of which was to stoke outrage (like it needed much stoking) over the Indiana RFRA bill.
Well the predictable shower of hate and threats descended on this small town business forcing it to close it's doors. Even though no one even asked or was turned away or refused service. All it takes is the hypothetical inference that it might/could happen.
Well in response a GoFundMe account was set up to help these unfortunate people through their financial loss.
Donations flood Indiana’s Memories Pizza after RFRA fallout
As of this post the current amount is $329,974 with over 11,000 people donating so far.
Weird thing is that yesterday when I was looking at the donations there were quite a few from people who stated their names and left notes of support. Now they're all anonymous as far as I can see so obviously the tolerance brigade has been taking names.
Lot of hate going out to the guy who started the GoFundMe page for Memories Pizza also.
Despite what the media and the pink mafia want you to believe there is a lot of support out there for this business owner who obviously didn't realize that she was being used by an unscrupulous media entity for their own self-aggrandizing purposes.
The liberal media are not our friends, they use people of faith and throw them away like used tissue in order to pander to the basest of our society.
Mainly homosexuals and democrats.
While helping these business owners out,and any others snared in the media,is a good first step the next one should be notifying the MSM that we're not going to stand for their duplicity any longer.

The Great Pasta Boycott
You would think that being in a state of perpetual outrage could get pretty exhausting after a while.
No one wears their outrage on their sleeve as well as militant homosexuals who will throw a fit over any perceived slight they can find in able to keep their cause in the spotlight for as long as possible.
'I would never use homosexual couples in my adverts': Barilla pasta brand faces boycott after boss's comments spark backlash
I've always been of the opinion that boycotts, for the most part, don't work. Mostly cause not enough people are either aware of the boycott nor care enough about the issue to alter their everyday life.
As a matter of fact the only successful demonstration I can recollect is the overwhelmingly successful buycott of Chick-fil-a which pretty much demonstrated Americans support for speaking out about an individuals and companies values. Something that homosexual rights activists would prefer to not get a lot of press.
I think these companies should keep in mind that no call for a boycott has ever been as successful as what happened for Chick-fil-a and stop walking back their support for traditional families to appease the liberal/commie media and a very few loud voices.
The record would seem to show that the majority are for traditional values then against them.

'I would never use homosexual couples in my adverts': Barilla pasta brand faces boycott after boss's comments spark backlash
Gay rights groups are calling for a boycott of the world’s biggest pasta maker Barilla after the company’s chairman said he would never use homosexual couples in his advertisements.Of course in a free society everyone is entitled to purchase any product they choose and to be honest whether I buy Barilla or not depends on which pasta has the best price at the time I purchase it. I'll bet that's the way most shoppers do it too.
Guido Barilla, whose firm has almost half the Italian pasta market and a quarter of that in the US, told Italy’s La Zanzara radio show last night: “I would never do an advert with a homosexual family…if the gays don’t like it they can go an eat another brand.
“For us the concept of the sacred family remains one of the fundamental values of the company.”
He added: “Everyone has the right to do what they want without disturbing those around them”. But then the pasta magnate upped the ante by attacking gay adoption. “I have no respect for adoption by gay families because this concerns a person who is not able to choose," he said.
Alessandro Zan, a gay rights campaigner and an MP in the left-wing Sel (Sinistra Ecologia Libertà ) party, said: “This is another example of Italian homophobia. I’m joining the boycott of Barilla and I hope other parliamentarians do the same.”
Campaigners have urged a boycott of all 20 brands owned by the Parma-based company, which include Voiello pasta and Filiz and Misko products.~snip~

The Chick-fil-a Effect
I believe the liberal, commie, Obama loving media is in denial about how much ordinary Americans are sick and tired of them telling lies or omitting truth.
Just like they were in denial about about how much we resent being told what we can say and what we can believe in. The numbers who came out in support of Chick-fil-a should have given them a clue but instead they went into major denial mode and pretended it really didn't happen.
So while they've been fussing about Big Bird, binders, birth control, taxing the "rich" and racism if you are opposed to Obama's policies, the truth is sneaking up on them.
Americans are more concerned about getting and keeping a job, being able to afford gas in order to get to work so that they can support their families and provide a future for their children and grand children. But these concerns have been left behind in the interest of socialist ideology.
Massive crowds have been coming together to support Mitt Romney, Obama not so much this time around.
Not surprisingly the "major media" has been silent on the matter.
Amazing photos: ‘Unreal’ crowd packs Romney rally in Bucks County, Pa.
Mitt's been getting ten times the crowds that the Obamessiah has been able to muster, because voters are tired of empty promises. We want real change....and it's coming in 2 days.
The liberal, commie media won't be able to ignore that.

Even Obama's Media See's It
I was really surprised to see CBS covering the slow demise of America's middle class this evening.
Middle-class Americans see their incomes drop
Middle-class Americans see their incomes drop
(CBS News) ARLINGTON, Texas - In the presidential campaign, both candidates have made the election all about the middle class.
A report out Wednesday from the Pew Research Center shows us why so many members of that class are frustrated -- their net worth has dropped dramatically since the Great Recession. About 85 percent say it is more difficult than it was a decade ago to make ends meet.
The study of middle-class Americans, like New Jersey garage owner John O'Connor, looked at households with incomes ranging from $39,000 to $118,000.
New Jersey garage owner John O'Connor said the American dream is still intact, but the road to getting has gotten bumpier.
"We don't dine out." he said. "We don't go to the movies the way we used to. Like everybody, I think we've become more frugal," said O'Connor.
Between 2000 and 2010, median middle-class wealth dropped 28 percent from about $130,000 to $93,000. Lower real estate values played a big part. About 42 percent said their financial situation is worse now than before the Great Recession.
"This is the first decade in the post-World War II era where the middle class -- indeed all families -- have actually less income at the end of the decade than they had at the beginning of the decade," said Paul Taylor, who co-authored the report.
The study also found the percentage of Americans in the middle class fell from 61 percent in 1971, to 51 percent now.
Of course they avoided showing the steep decline over the last 4 years while Obama has been steering the ship into the rocks.
While Obama, the lick-spittle liberal media and the democrats have been distracting people with Sandra Fluke, Romney's taxes, Chick-fil-a and Rep Akins idiotic statements the public at large has been losing financial ground and the security they once had.
We're all being cheated by the lapdog media and their democrat handlers, just out of earshot Romney/Ryan say they have solutions to the decline of Americas middle class. Yet we can't hear them over the constant shrill outrage of the liberal progressives about every distraction they can manufacture.
Simply because they have no plans...no solutions...nothing but their record for the last 4 years and they sure don't want to talk about that.

Persistence in the Face of Defeat
You'd think that after the massive support of Chick-fil-a on Aug. 1 there would be a re-evaluation of how the gay marriage supporters present themselves to the rest of the country.
Chick-fil-A Touts Record Profits
Petitions want Berenstain Bears out of Chick-fil-A campaign
This really doesn't seem to be the best way to persuade others to a particular position.
Maybe after the backlash becomes more intense these groups will re-think labeling people with different views as "haters" and "bigots".
I kind of doubt it though.
Chick-fil-A Touts Record Profits
Following the intense backlash fast-food chain Chick-fil-A received when its president publicly took a stance against gay marriage, supporters of "traditional marriage"—and fried-chicken sandwiches—spoke with their dollars. But no, they start immediately looking for someone else to intimidate.
Petitions want Berenstain Bears out of Chick-fil-A campaign
PHILADELPHIA – The publisher of the Berenstain Bears children's books is being urged to cut ties with Chick-fil-A because of its president's statements opposing gay marriage.Ya know...people are free to spend or not spend their money on what they please. But it seems odd to me that groups who attempt to "shame" businesses and customers into not supporting someone for their beliefs would continue to do so after getting soundly rebuked for their efforts.
Three organizations said Wednesday they delivered petitions with 80,000 signatures to HarperCollins. The petitions demand the New York-based publishing house end the Berenstain Bears' affiliation with the national fast-food chain and say the beloved bears teach the importance of standing against bigotry.
The petitions urge HarperCollins to follow the lead of the Jim Henson Co., which pulled its Muppet toys from Chick-fil-A kids' meals. A similar campaign with Berenstain Bears is slated for this month.
This really doesn't seem to be the best way to persuade others to a particular position.

Tolerance
From Le-gal In-sur-rec-tion
Here's some more "tolerance" from the "kiss-in" protesters.
Lets see...number of Chick-fil-a's vandalized on 8/1?....0
Number vandalized since?...2....so far.
One in California and one in Missouri and counting.
I don't know how any sane person could think this kind of behavior would persuade anyone towards their point of view.

Karma...Gotta Love it
Liberal douche of the universe gets his hate out at an employee serving him at the drive through of a Chick-fil-a. Brags about it on YouTube then pulls the video, fortunately it was saved for prosperity by other vigilant YouTube users and placed back on display for the world to see his "righteous" indignation. Of course his employer saw it also and promptly fired his ass.
Vante of Tucson, AZ Regrets Actions of Former CFO
TUCSON, AZ--(Marketwire - Aug 2, 2012) - The following is a statement from Vante:I'm sure he thinks it was worth it though, his stock among other deranged half witted liberals went up a few notches.
Vante regrets the unfortunate events that transpired yesterday in Tucson between our former CFO/Treasurer Adam Smith and an employee at Chick-fil-A. Effective immediately, Mr. Smith is no longer an employee of our company.
The actions of Mr. Smith do not reflect our corporate values in any manner. Vante is an equal opportunity company with a diverse workforce, which holds diverse opinions. We respect the right of our employees and all Americans to hold and express their personal opinions, however, we also expect our company officers to behave in a manner commensurate with their position and in a respectful fashion that conveys these values of civility with others.
We hope that the general population does not hold Mr. Smith's actions against Vante and its employees.
For more civilized folks he'll always be just another douchebag.

Taking a Stand With Chicken
RTHere's some pretty good news, people who believe in free speech and free markets blasted the Chick-fil-a boycott into irrelevance.@rickwarren:@dancathy just called me.#ChickFilA has already set a world record today, with 7 more hrs to go in the West.#OutOfChicken

And the homosexual activists and their liberal supporters along with the lick-spittle liberal media have only themselves to blame.
For years Conservatives and Christians have sat silently by while gay activists and their supporters whined, screamed at, threatened, insulted and denigrated them. They've attempted to bully and browbeat others to accept, what to many, is the unacceptable and this time they've pushed it to far.
Exactly what did Dan Cathy say to cause such an uproar?
He offered his own opinion.
"I think we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say, 'We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage,'" Cathy said. "I pray God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about."
Cathy explains that the company that his father created and the one that he now runs is possible because of family and the support that families offer.
"We are very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that … We want to do anything we possibly can to strengthen families. We are very much committed to that," Cathy said.He also expressed something that has become pretty foreign nowadays, the idea that there are virtues worth living up to.
Things like fidelity, commitment, support of family and a humble gratitude for what he's been able to help build.
These are things that, at one time in America, were desirable characteristics in a business owner and something he looked for in his employees. Things that good men and women aspired to.
But virtues seem to be out of fashion these days, a commitment to marriage, fidelity, family and humility have become worthy of scorn and ridicule from the gay crowd and their liberal political panderers.
The truth is that real Americans have been pushed to far, the incessant demands of the entitlement crowd, gay activists and "give it away" liberal democrats has just reached the point where we are saying "enough".
What happened today was a peaceful and orderly message. It's the way Conservatives and Christians do things and in a sane world it would be a wake up call.
But the truth is it won't be, and the liberal bullies will just keep pushing until there will be another peaceful and orderly message sent loud and clear in November.
