The IRS: Just One of Dozens of Uncooperative Agencies

Darrell Issa’s leading role in the IRS investigation may have come to a close — he lost his chairmanship of the House Oversight Committee to term limits — but there is plenty of work left for his successor, Jason Chaffetz of Utah. None of these criminals has been punished; the maddening fact is that Lois Lerner is enjoying a six-figure pension at the expense of the very taxpayers against whom she conducted a corrupt political jihad. And even if that happy day should come when Lerner et al. are given one-way bus tickets to Florence, Colo., or some other suitable destination, Chaffetz and his colleagues still would have a tremendous amount of work to do; if Issa’s time has taught us anything, it is that the federal agencies are in thrall to a culture of criminality, and that the most significant crime in the agencies’ repertoire is the obstruction of federal investigations.
Earlier this year, 47 inspectors general — the officials charged with fighting corruption, waste, and wrongdoing in federal agencies — sent a letter to Issa’s committee complaining that organizations ranging from the EPA to the Justice Department were impeding their investigations by withholding information — despite the fact that federal law specifically forbids withholding that information. These are not a bunch of Republican operatives trying to score a few political points: Those 47 inspectors general comprise more than half of all such officials, and many who signed the letter were appointed by President Barack Obama.~snip~

The biggest service republicans can do for the American people is to purge the federal civil service of the corrupt, arrogant,incompetent union owned, liberal/progressive employees infesting their ranks.
The infiltration of commie/leftists has been going on for decades just waiting for a socialist administration to get their orders from.

These corrupt leftist civil servants actually collect a pay check to look down on the citizens and treat us with contempt. The worst thing about it is that they believe we are so stupid that we need their guiding hand to live our lives.
It's long past time to decertify their unions and hold the corruptocrats responsible either by firing or indictments.
If the republicans really want to make a difference they'll remind these "civil servants" who they work for.

Today at the SCOTUS

Couple of rulings that push back at government intruding into our lives.
This first one is of course a misleading headline. In spite of all the leftwing hyperventilating the SCOTUS didn't rule against birth control, just who is required to pay for it.

Commie/liberals are all about "stay out of our bedrooms!!!" until money is involved. Then it's all about charging everybody else to pay for their "privacy".

Democrats are the ones who benefit from coerced union dues and they are greedy enough to find ways to intrude into people's homes to fatten their wallets.

While neither of these rulings went far enough they are the beginnings of some pushback against an out of control government inserting itself ever father into our lives.

I could go into the whole "missing emails" and destroyed hard drive thing but at this point "what difference does it make"?

Voting out democrats does very little to eliminate the liberal/commie threat to the country basically because the civil service has been hiring lickspittle little liberals for decades. I got a position in the 70's in civil service because I was going to school and the agency I worked for was infested with Jimmy Carter worshippers who were,and still are, proud liberals.

They were more than happy to tell you so. They're smug and arrogant because they know that no matter what the public sector unions have their backs.

If we want real change the purge will have to go deep into government agencies to replace the partisan hack employees with people who can do their jobs in a fair and neutral manner.

Breaking the public sector unions is crucial to restoring a fair and accountable government.

Roasting the Rubes

Obama and his administration has created an economy so dismal that being a barista is a job college graduates can only aspire to.
Where the best prospect of advancement for most people is to use unions to strong arm fast food restaurants and other low skilled employers into paying wages above what their labor is worth. The opportunity to move into higher wage positions is diminishing with each labor report.

But it was cool and edgy to vote Obama and his job killing agenda into office....like totally worth it.

Maybe Pain Will Teach You Millenials Not To Vote For Your Own Serfdom

You Millenials voted for Obama by a margin of 28 percent, which will make it a lot easier for me to accept the benefits you will be paying for. We warned you that liberalism was a scam designed to take the fruits of your labor and transfer it to us, the older, established generation. Oh, and also to the couch-dwelling, Democrat-voting losers who live off of food stamps and order junk from QVC with their Obamaphones.

The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Lie

I ran across this article in the Wall Street Journal about some small businessmen in Georgia complaining about having to use E-verify to check and see if anyone applying for a job with them is legally allowed to work in this country.
They ain't liking it at all.

Small Businesses Say U.S. Background-Check System Has Drawbacks

Since January, Daniel VanLoh has turned away nine new dishwashers and one line cook from his four Atlanta, Ga., restaurants within days of hiring them.
The reason: Not one was authorized to work in the U.S., according to background checks he ran on the job applicants using a federal verification system, known as E-Verify.
He says he's now struggling to fill six openings, with some job seekers simply walking away after hearing that the company uses the free, Internet-based system to check their immigration status.
To date, Mr. Van Loh's firm, Rocket Farm Restaurants LLC, has used the system to check 180 recruits. "It has significantly increased our recruiting costs," he says. "We spend time and money recruiting and doing background checks on good candidates, and if the E-Verify comes back with a rejection, we have to start the process all over again."
Recruiting dishwashers is the most difficult. The jobs pay only $8 an hour, or 75 cents more than the federal minimum wage, and they involve a great deal of heavy lifting.
Launched in 1997, E-Verify matches job applicants' Social Security numbers and other identification against a national database kept by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, a federal agency under Homeland Security. Those who return a mismatch are deemed to be unauthorized to work. As of July 20, 467,328 employers nationwide, big and small, were enrolled in the system, according to immigration agency data.~snip~

Of course employers have been supposed to check employees eligibility since Ronald Reagan granted amnesty back in 1986. Where again the promises of controlling the border and worker verification were broken by the leftist/commie obstructionists and illegals continued to flood across until we find ourselves looking at "comprehensive immigration reform again".

The truth of it is that illegal immigrants provide unscrupulous employers with a labor base that they can under pay and exploit at will. These types of employers don't want real immigration reform, what they want is a totally compliant labor base, as one guy who owns a business here said to me "I like hiring illegals because I can work them into the ground and pay them shit and they'll come back for more".
Of course not all employers are like that but there are enough to keep illegals flowing across the border.

What "comprehensive immigration reform" will give them in the short term is a pool of low skilled (read low wage) workers that they will be able to "legally" hire. But how long do you think that will last?
A half generation, a full generation?
Maybe....it depends on how fast unions and socialist backed "workers rights" groups get  to them.
Then they won't be content with low pay, long hours and crappy conditions. Like any other American they'll want a quality of life, higher income and then the whole cycle will begin again.

The answer to illegal immigration is to wean these employers off of the availability of illegal exploitable workers and require all businesses to use E-verify and to fine those employers who hire illegals.
The problem is not just illegals coming here to take American jobs, it's also the employers giving them one.

Now that the suspects of the tragic bombing in Boston have been dealt with the next wave of liberal media malfeasance commences.

The latest go-to publication of leftist sensibility, Salon, offers a hint of what the left's spin will be on the two Chechen brothers who bombed the Boston Marathon, killing three and maiming scores.
Under the headline, "Chechen Terrorism: What you need to know," Alex Seitz-Wald writes:
Chechnya, a small, predominately Muslim region in the Caucuses between Georgia and the Caspian Sea in Southern Russia, has been a hotbed of separatist violence since the start of the First Chechen war in 1994 -- the same year that Tsarnaev was reportedly born. As Joshua Yaffa, a Moscow-based journalist wrote, The "whole generation knows only conflict."
The Brothers Tsarnaev grew up in an environment of conflict and bloody violence, and are, therefore, victims. They are traumatized, not terrorists -- at least, not terrorists who are motivated by their Muslim faith, even if that seems apparent. Even if it's proven that they have links to Middle Eastern or other Muslim terrorist groups.~snip~

While the liberal media are busy patting themselves on the back for the coverage they've given to the pursuit and capture of these violent jihadists the smears and oblique accusations of a large segment of America shouldn't be forgotten.
The hope that it was white males, tax protesters,  tea partiers or any other right leaning group was almost continual until identification had been made.
Then crickets from the commie media.
The left is desperate to pin a terrorism label on anyone who disagrees with them for the sole purpose of oppressing anyone who disagrees with them and they are extremely aggressive about it.

The liberal media are no longer our friends or even trusted watchdogs against government or corporate corruption, they are no longer a free press. They are owned by the democrat party, unions and liberal special interest groups.

They are simply a hive mind that thinks and responds to their masters and cannot be trusted to report truth anymore.

The Cold War Continues

Almost all the time I was growing up communism was the greatest threat we as country faced. I even got a certificate that designated me as a cold warrior a couple of years ago for my service in the 70's.
But the fact is we didn't win it, it just moved to this country and the communists have infiltrated the media, congress, unions and academia..........and we are losing.

Obama Wins, Idiots Crawl Out of their Holes

You know, I don't know what I can say about this that hasn't been talked about all over the web today.

The range of absolute disgust over this entitlement mentality has been fully vented and to say much more would be redundant.
But, I think a lot of people would agree that Obama winning another term has emboldened the far left whack jobs and unions to start making demands on the rest of society.
We've seen protests, backed by various unions, against Walmart, fast food restaurants and attacks on Christianity by militant atheists just in time for the Christmas holiday.

We've also seen the squishy RINO's of the republican party bend over in supplication to the Obamessiah by purging conservatives from committees because they vote in the interest of their constituents instead of the party. There should be a larger range of disgust for Boehner throwing conservative principles under the bus.
What it all comes down to is that for the next two years we're going to be fighting for the constitution alone until we can take the house and senate.
Until the republican party changes it will be just as big an enemy to freedom as Obama and his useful idiots are, we got a fight on two fronts.
I hope we can win it.

Louisiana's school voucher system under fire as state judge weighs its fate

The legal battle over Louisiana’s controversial school voucher program is getting its day in court.

Judge Tim Kelly began hearing arguments Wednesday in a state district court in Baton Rouge on whether the vouchers -- and how they’re paid for – are constitutional.
The complicated issue was thrust into the national spotlight after Louisiana enacted what some experts say is the most comprehensive education reforms in the country.
Louisiana lawmakers created the “Student Scholarships for Educational Excellence Program” earlier this year, with backing from Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal.
The legislation paved the way for qualifying families to use taxpayer dollars for private school tuition.

Every time a state or city tries to free their children from the incessant propaganda of the leftist tools in our education system their unions use the dues paid by educators to scrape up some bottom feeding lawyers to challenge it.
They can't get over the hold they have on our children's minds and if you don't think it matters then reflect about the number of morons that chose Obama over their civic responsibility to elect someone who would uphold the constitution.
We have whole generations now who have been taught that the road to prosperity is through robbing others and enlarging government.
