Clueless Wonder Twins

I don't know which one is more clueless, Piers Morgan who thinks his opinion matters or tub of lard Micheal Moore who thinks 10 million people are watching him drool down his chins on Piers Morgan Tonight,

The only thing fatter than MM is their combined egos.

Yeah......I don't see it

Beelzebub

The big new outrage going on on the unhinged leftist, commie, progressive sites this morning is the comparison of Obama to the devil on History  channels "The Bible" last night.

Maybe he does...maybe he doesn't but it seems kind of odd that the liberal medias head would explode because of something like this after the confusion and consternation they had over the record ratings that this series has gotten.

Thing about this is if they depicted him as all red then they would be screaming about stereotyping a completely different demographic.

I'm sure that the fact that this series continues to score high in ratings has something to do with the liberal media desperately trying to find a way to marginalize it, or it could simply be to progressives all African-Americans look alike.

Sarah Palin, Living Rent Free in Progressives Heads

I've been reading about and watching videos of Sarah Palin's speech at CPAC on postings at Facebook and decided to do a search to see what other news was out there.
One of the places I go to look for headlines is memeorandum where you can usually find that any headline with her name in it is red meat for idiot liberals.
Karl Rove gets maybe one link for discussion, the Palin name has them crawling out of the wood work. At the time I looked there was like 7 links to different blogs. All of them liberal commies of course, most  who's sole purpose is to show how earth shatteringly  snarky and clever they can be. (not very)
I find it kind of sad that out of all the things they can bitch about the one thing that really has them foaming at the mouth is anything Sarah Palin.
All the usual insults are drug out,  she's not very smart, she's a quitter etc. but not really a whole lot of rebuttal about what she says, although I've seen some blags suggest she engaged in a little double entendre when discussing a rack for a four wheeler. I'm kind of like "so-what" about that one but because it was a "Christmas" story they feigned umbrage.

In fact, Palin herself had a gun-themed Noel. Or a sexy-sexy Yuletide, depending on how one read her innuendo.
“You should have seen what Todd got me for Christmas," Palin said. "It was a metal rack, case for hunting rifles to put on the back of a four-wheeler. Then, though, I had to get something for him to put in the gun case, right? So, this go-round, he’s got the rifle; I got the rack.” (Happy birthday, Baby Jesus!)
So commie progressives who normally couldn't give two shits about religion get all up in outrage over their interpretation of her remarks.
Yup....rent free.

What's really going on here is that they fear Sarah Palin and others like her, people respond enthusiastically to her message of liberty and limited government. Liberal commie progressives just can't stand that because it undermines their belief in a all controlling nanny state.
I think it's hilarious the way she keeps baiting the liberal morons out there.
Go Sarah Go!!!!

Dems Declare War on our Warriors

I don't think it's any coincidence that democrat and dumb both begins with D's.

Army suspends tuition assistance program for troops

WIESBADEN, Germany — The Army announced Friday it is suspending its tuition assistance program for soldiers newly enrolling in classes due to sequestration and other budgetary pressures.
“This suspension is necessary given the significant budget execution challenges caused by the combined effects of a possible year-long continuing resolution and sequestration,” Paul Prince, an army personnel spokesman at the Pentagon, wrote in an email to Stars and Stripes. “The Army understands the impacts of this action and will re-evaluate should the budgetary situation improve.”
The Army’s announcement follows a similar move by the Marine Corps.
The Army’s tuition assistance program was available for troops to complete a high school diploma, certificate program or college or master’s degree. Under the program, the Army paid 100 percent of the tuition and authorized fees charged by a school up to established limits of $250 per semester hour or credit hour or up to $4,500 per fiscal year.~snip~
Funny how they go for the perks that make voluntary enlistment a little more attractive for service members but completely over look the bloated bureaucracy that is Washington DC. I mean I could accept this a little more if the first thing done after sequestration was an immediate 50% wage cut for all civil servants, congressmen and senators.
But we all know that will never happen.

Then to add further insult to the troops there's this.

Shameful Colo. Dem lawmaker: No veterans should have high-capacity mags because ‘some’ are mentally ill

During Friday’s marathon gun control hearing in the Colorado Senate, Republican Sen. Kent Lambert offered an amendment to exempt active military members, veterans and their families from the gun magazine ban.
Enter Sen. Mary Hodge, a disgraceful Dem who urged fellow lawmakers to oppose the exemption because “some of them come back with significant mental health problems.”
This is the kind of crap we're going to have to put up with until the next elections, hopefully the democrats will keep embarrassing themselves enough that even the "low information" voters get disgusted with it.
At least we can always hope.

What Cutbacks?

Remember all the doom and gloom that Obama warned us about leading up to the sequestration cuts?
Well apparently nobody told John "Lurch" Kerry about em.

Kerry Announces $250 Million in U.S. Aid for Egypt

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Secretary of State John Kerry announced Sunday that the United States would provide $250 million in assistance to Egypt after Egypt’s president promised to move ahead with negotiations with the International Monetary Fund over economic reforms.
In a statement issued after his two-hour meeting with President Mohamed Morsi, Mr. Kerry said the aid decision reflected Egypt’s “extreme needs” and Mr. Morsi’s assurance that Egypt would reach an agreement with the I.M.F. after more than a year of talks over a $4.8 billion loan package.
The statement issued by Mr. Kerry noted that he and Mr. Morsi had discussed the need to ensure the fairness of Egypt’s coming elections, but it did not mention any specific political commitments the Egyptian president had made to receive the aid.
Parliamentary elections are scheduled for April. Some opposition groups have said they will boycott the vote because of what they see as an effort by Mr. Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood movement to dominate Egyptian politics.~snip~
So in order to scare people and make sure we all feel the pain of minuscule cuts in spending Obama threatens the poor and children but is willing to give millions to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Obama is going to make sure that the American people suffer way more than government, which is his industry cause it's pretty plain that he has no intentions of slowing the growth of government.

Feds keep hiring with sequesters in place: 400 jobs posted on first day back

The sequester cuts are now officially in place, but many government agencies appear to be hiring freely anyway.
The U.S. Forest Service on Monday posted help-wanted ads for a few good men and women to work as “recreation aides” this summer, the Internal Revenue Service advertised for an office secretary in Maryland, the U.S. Mint wanted 24 people to help press coins, and the Agriculture Department said it needs three “insect production workers” to help grow bollworms in Phoenix.
Monday marked the first regular workday under sequestration, and federal agencies posted more than 400 job ads by 6 p.m.
At a time when nearly all of those agencies are contemplating furloughs, the help-wanted ads raised questions about how agencies should decide between saving through attrition or letting people go.~snip~

I don't know about anybody else but I'm tired of Obama pissing on my leg and then telling me it's raining. Maybe that's why his approval rating is dropping.

So Were's Darwin?

You know what really kills me about liberal democrats?
They're all about Darwin and the survival of the fittest when it comes to undermining peoples religious beliefs. But they get a little squeamish when it comes down to actually culling the herd.

Texting while walking? Nevada assemblyman moves to ban it

LAS VEGAS -- Harvey Munford has heard a lot of talk about the dangers of texting while driving. Now the Nevada assemblyman wants to focus on what he considers an equally perilous scourge: texting while walking, especially across a busy street.
Munford (D-Las Vegas) on Thursday introduced Assembly Bill 123, saying the new law could be applied not to just urban streets but to all state roads, even in residential neighborhoods.
The penalty for offenders: a pricey ticket, including $250 for a third offense. First-timers would get a warning.
Nevada is following the town of Fort Lee, N.J., which last year issued a ban against texting while crossing the street.
Munford told the Los Angeles Times that he began watching for the practice while behind the wheel last year after a complaint by a constituent.
“I was just amazed by what I saw,” he said. “So many people are almost oblivious. They are texting and texting, totally unaware as they cross even six-lane highways.”
He said young people are the biggest offenders.
“When kids get out of school, where they’ve been banned from using their phones all day, they go immediately to their texts,” he told The Times. “I’ve seen several close calls myself where people have almost been hit. Kids are so addicted to those things. It’s almost become a plague.”~snip~
I remember from a very early age having it drilled into me that when I go to cross a street to stop and look both ways to make sure the way is clear before crossing.
But a liberal democrat will see people walking across the street looking at their cell phone and the first thing that enters his mind is that there ought a be a law.

How has it come to point in this country that common sense needs to be legislated? How many activities need to be regulated and a fine levied for simply being stupid?
I mean even John Kerry says we got a right to be stupid in this country.
How about we just go back to teaching children to stop and look before crossing the street again like we used to do in the olden days, so we can avoid that slippery slope of banning sipping on sodas or eating while walking.
Or here's a thought, if teenagers can't cross and text responsibly how about parents just take their cell phones away?

Symbolism Over Substance

I realize that violence against women is a real issue that needs to be addressed but come on, men walking a mile in high heels?
The only issue they're bringing awareness to is that some men will do anything to look stupid.

Men Walk in Heels for Domestic Violence Prevention

Domestic violence is not just a women's issue, so men put on their high heels and took to the track to raise awareness while walking a mile.
"We have a lot of supporters who are men who want to get the word out that domestic violence is not only a women's issue and this is a great, fun way for them to be involved," said Melanie Palmer, Executive Director at the Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter.
Men walked a mile in women's shoes.
"Our guys decided that the best thing we could do today was get out here and rock some red heels and make a difference," said participant Mike Gilbert.
He strutted his stuff around the track, and helped raise awareness for domestic violence prevention.
"We couldn't think of anything better to do on a cold Saturday morning than support the people in our community that are really reaching out and making a difference in the lives of people who need help."
More than 100 folks bundled up and braved the morning cold in Bentonville, all for the cause.

All this is is cheap symbolism, a little blurb for local news stations to report on with a little smirk on their faces and a roll of their eyes.
I guess in the age of Obama all there's left are dumb little stunts like this that in the grand scheme of things changes very little.

You want to reduce violence against women?
How about demanding the government do something about jobs so that so many families aren't pushed into poverty? Doing something for a change to encourage growth in the private sector so people can see a future and something to look forward to instead of the dread and worry about being able to support a family?

That would do more to prevent domestic violence than men wearing high heels around a running track.
