Return of the "Good Sport"

At one time in the not too distant past certain mens magazines extolled the idea of men creating bachelor pads for the sole purpose of seducing as many innocent young women into having sex as possible.
In those days men with many "conquests" were admired and women who became pregnant out of wedlock would slink away to have their babies in obscurity handling it however.
These women were fondly referred to as "good sports", willing to go away and not cause the swinging bachelor any "problems".
Liberal men have found a way to resurrect this mindset of sex with no consequences.

How To Convince A Girl To Get An Abortion
Let’s face it: sexually active people have accidents. Shit happens, that’s life. But we know that men have no reproductive rights in opting out of a being a parent. With only two birth control options available to men (a condom and a vasectomy) the words you use to get your girl off the fence about having an abortion must be well thought out. If you are not ready to be a father, the following arguments may help you convince a girl to get an abortion. The first two methods I describe below have worked for me in separate instances for the two abortions I have paid for. I know other guys who simply did not say the right things or trusted her to “make the right decision.” Well, now they are stuck paying child support for children they barely see.
The first method is most applicable for a girl who is a long term booty call or girlfriend; basically, a girl who believes there is an emotional element to your sexual relationship. For these situations I recommend the “Hail Mary,” a term referring to the end of an American football game when a team attempts a difficult play in a last ditch effort to win.~snip~
Notice that part of the advice is to," Then, after she agrees and has the abortion, dump her.".
I mean I can understand why a woman may not want to have a child by a cowardly little weasel so then it begs the question of why did she sleep with him in the first place?

I'm having a lot of trouble understanding how a womans right to "choose" empowers them when certain men believe that women and their babies are inconvenient and can both be disposed of at will one way or another.

It's Totally George Bush's Fault

So here we are 5 years under Obamas rule and according to the democrats we still can't shake the George Bush blues.

Barack Obama Can’t Get Out Of Iraq
WASHINGTON — America’s chickens are coming home to roost.
The shadows of the Iraq War loom so heavily over President Obama’s attempt to attack Syria that he may not be able to pull off the sort of relatively modest intervention that has been routine for American presidents for half a century. And the ironies come from two sides: On one hand, domestic and international memories of Iraq mean the American president can’t get anyone to trust him. On the other, Obama has resisted the cynical lessons of the Bush Administration’s political successes: That you can’t undersell a war; that you can’t rely on international good will; and that you can’t, as Bush aide Andy Card notoriously said, launch a new product in August.
Now, Obama finds himself cast as Bush — without the results. And Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a butcher whose crimes need no exaggeration and whose victims are recent, is in some ways a better fit for the role into which Bush put Iraq’s Saddam Hussein, whose worst crimes were behind him. Iraq War boosters invoked Saddam’s 1980s gas attacks; but Assad stands accused of gassing civilians last week.
Yet as Thursday’s vote against intervention in the British Parliament proved, Obama can’t get even partners Bush did to go after Assad. And opponents of the Iraq War say Bush has boxed Obama into a corner.~snip~
So we got this picture of George Bush smiling with the caption "Miss Me Yet?" and I'm thinking how in the hell can we miss him when he keeps living in the heads of the liberal/commie elite.
He's a built in scapegoat, the bogeyman the lapdog media and cowardly democrats blame for their own failures to do anything substantial other than repeat their failing rhetoric over and over.
Obama using our military in Syria no matter how limited is a mistake so obviously the lapdog media and his supporters are going to try and inoculate him from criticism by using the old "George Bush" did it.
Unless of course he can find a way to spike the football on it and play the warrior chief again.
Then it will be like "OMG Obama is awesome!!! " in the media.

Abortion...the Video Game

So, for everyone out there who was appalled by the Miley Cyrus "performance" at the VMA's and wondering how our culture has become so debased only need to look at the abortion fanatics in Texas for the answer.
from LifeSiteNews:

Fun with infanticide! Videogame has players overcome obstacles to abort their babies in Texas
Aug. 28, 2013 (MRC) - If Wendy Davis’ 11-hour filibuster to protect late-term abortion in the Lone Star State wasn’t proof enough of the Texas pro-abortion movement’s desperation, a new video game does the trick.
In “Choice: Texas,” designed by Carly Kocurek and Allyson Whipple and currently in development, players hunt for abortion access in Texas via the “choose-your-own-adventure” technique – and confront obstacles such as geography and healthcare.~snip~
Here's the description at IndiGoGo where they're soliciting for funds for their "interactive game."
Choice: Texas is an educational interactive fiction game which will be freely available on the web. Players will explore the game through one of several characters, each of whom reflects specific socioeconomic, geographic, and demographic factors impacting abortion access in Texas. Although billed as interactive fiction, Choice: Texas is based on extensive research into healthcare access, legal restrictions, geography, and demographics, and is reflective of the real circumstances facing women in the state.
Infanticide...the game of the future.

More Leftist Hyperbole

Cause it's evil.
Robert’s said, “What’s going on about voting rights is downright evil because it is something that really needs to keep going forward not backward.”
These are the kind of blanket statements made by the liberal/commies that go unchallenged in the moment.

Ever since the Supreme Court struck down one antiquated provision of the voting rights act of 1965 the left has become apoplectic.
The part struck down basically allows about 9 states to change their voting laws without getting approval first from the federal government.
Some of these states, like Texas, passed voter identification laws and for some reason the leftist/commies believe that it's a burden for people to have to show identification before voting.
Of course they don't object to ID before cashing welfare checks.

This is just another way for the left to generate division along racial lines again because everybody being required to show ID before voting targets minorities or something.
Another crap tactic to sow division, the left lives on this kind of stuff and too many people let them get away with it.

Watching the Hive Mind at Work

Here's something I saw over at Weasel Zippers today.
Transgender Woman Freaks Out After Being Called A “Lady”…

Weasel Zippers found this story of "outrage" at the liberal/commie website Raw Story which if you read through the site "Raw Sewage" would actually be more appropriate.
The guy in the story arguing for a little common sense is the president of which the SPLC has has given their "hate group" award to.
To the SPLC pretty much anyone who doesn't tow the liberal/commie line is a "hate group", hell they've used it so much that it really doesn't mean much any more.

The thing that struck me though is not really the story, I mean we all know what kind of spin this garbage will get, but the comments. More specifically the liberal/retarded comments. (Now when I say retarded I'm not talking about developmentally disabled, I'm talking about people who's thinking processes have become retarded to the point of being incomprehensible. It's a perfectly acceptable word for what a portion of the public has become. We ought to give some thought to repurposing it for use to describe liberals.)

Anyway, most of the comments consisted of hurling words like "bigot", "ignorant", "haters" and the false word homophobes. There's really not a whole lot of logic presented about why...for instance it makes sense for members of the opposite sex to comingle in restrooms. Or why it's OK for boys to be on girls basketball teams or why, if a girl demands it, to be a tackle on the school football team.
The problems inherent in this kind of anarchy just doesn't seem to register on the pro Transgender crowd.

Nope all they got pretty much is nonsensical insults to anyone who may question the wisdom of allowing those who are confused about their gender to do whatever they want because they feel like it and to hell with the consequences.
They can't put together a cognizant argument to justify the rights that they demand, all they got is name calling.
How can we be losing the culture to these morons?
Truth is that they get their way by throwing little fits of rage and are enabled by low substance websites that allow their rantings and name calling to remain out there for everyone to see.
Social change nowadays isn't being made by reasoned debate, it's being made by shutting down the opposition.
I wonder what it will take for real Americans to push back?

More "Unexpected News"

Just in time for the beginning of the school year and a couple of months away from the holidays a Gallup tracking poll shows a jump in the 30 day unemployment rate.

Outside of the federal government's Bureau of Labor statistics, the Gallup polling organization also tracks the nation's unemployment rate. While the BLS and Gallup findings might not always perfectly align, the trends almost always do and the small statistical differences just haven't been worthy of note. But now Gallup is showing a sizable 30 day jump in the unemployment rate, from 7.7% on July 21 to 8.9% today.
This is an 18-month high.~snip~
That's a pretty significant jump in people collecting unemployment and the number of underemployed is even worse. (same link)
Gallup also shows an alarming increase in the number of underemployed (those with some work seeking more). During the same 30-day period, that number has jumped from 17.1% to 17.9%.
The labor force participation rate ain't looking so good either.
I've raised 5 kids to adulthood and know for a fact that when they're teens most think their parents are idiots and don't know anything when you try and explain things to them. It's only after they move out and are on their own for a while do they realize you may have had something.
Young voters are the same, when someone dangles shiny new ideas in front of them they think the older folks who've been around for awhile don't know what they're talking about.
They don't understand that we've seen the shiny new thing before it was repackaged and sold to them.
Although I can say I have never seen anyone come back for seconds before.
But then again I've never seen the liberal/commie press run cover for a failure as well as they do for Obama.

The point being that hopefully, these younger voters will be 8 years older and suffered enough under Obama and the turncoat media to not fall for the next shiny new thing the democrats dangle in front of them in 2016.
Maybe then we can turn around the dismal economy for them and they can finally have a future.

Mother Jones D'oh moment

This just in from the the leftarded rag Mother Jones. O-bots really do exist.

The Great Emo-Prog vs. O-Bot Debate
If you express anything short of absolute condemnation of everything the NSA has done, your Twitter feed quickly fills up with hysterical proclamations from the emo-progs that you're a right-wing shill, a government lackey, a useful idiot for the slave state, and an obvious fool. Conversely, if you criticize the NSA's surveillance programs, your Twitter feed quickly fills up with equally hysterical proclamations from the O-Bots that you hate Obama, you've always hated Obama, and you're probably a racist swine who's been waiting ever since 2009 for a chance to take down the nation's first black president.
This happens with other subjects too, of course, but the Snowden files have brought it out more than usual. I'll confess that although the leftier-than-thou types have always been around, I've long been skeptical of the idea that Obama has a core group of supporters from 2008 who really do consider him The One, a shining beacon of light who can do no wrong. But I'm the one who was wrong. I don't know how many there are, but they're definitely out there.
Really, who'd a thought?
I mean I guess this Kevin Drum guy must have missed the non-stop worship and adoration of the liberal/commie media for the last .....oh I don't know....5 years!!!
Or maybe he just failed to register that famous tingle everyone has been talking about.
Obama is nothing less than the Ron Paul of the left and his supporters make Paulestinians look almost sane in comparison.

Kudos though for finally figuring it out, even though it took him 5 years.
The guys epiphany kind of reminds me of that M&Ms Christmas commercial.

Truly a Wondrous Age

This is just something I can't pass up posting about.
First the wonderful creation of a seedless watermelon, something my father didn't live long enough to experience.

Now this.
Australian scientists discover the secret to hydrating beer
SAY goodbye to the dreaded Monday morning hangover, thanks to researchers from a Queensland university who have discovered it may be possible to improve the hydrating effects of beer.
Since the beginning of time,  it seems sipping on a frosty cold beer has been a necessity on a scorching hot day. This can be counter-intuitive at times, given alcohol actually increases dehydration and leads to drunkenness, risky behavior and eventually, the hangover.
However, researchers from Griffith University’s Health Institute may have answered every Australians prayers. They have found that by adding electrolytes, a common ingredient found in sports drinks, and reducing the alcohol content could make a beer more refreshing than ever.
As part of the study the Institute manipulated the electrolyte levels of two commercial beers, one that was regular strength and one that was light. They then gave those two beers to volunteers who had been heavily exercising just before consumption to test their fluid recovery.
The study showed that the light beer that had been combined with electrolytes was one third more effective at hydrating a person than a regular beer. The best news for beer drinkers was that the taste of the modified beverages didn’t change.~snip~
A slow whittling away of consequences from over indulging on weekends, the eventual demise of the beer hangover.
If they could find a solution to the dreaded "beer goggles" then weekends could become perfect.

In Search of the Truth

One of the stories starting to emerge from the unrest in Egypt is the apparent accusation by the Egyptian government of the media reporting on the events with a bias towards the Muslim Brotherhood.

Egypt Rebukes Foreign Press for 'Biased' Coverage
CAIRO--As Egyptian security forces moved to end a bloody standoff with supporters of Egypt's ousted president on Saturday, government officials were assailing a different foe: the Western media and critical foreign governments.
In a statement emailed in English to foreign correspondents Saturday, the Egyptian State Information Service rebuked reporters for what it called "biased coverage" that it said privileged supporters of Mohammed Morsi over the security services who have been fighting them.
The SIS also castigated the foreign press for not paying enough attention to attacks on Christians and Islamists' "intimidation" of ordinary Egyptian citizens.

"Egypt is feeling severe bitterness towards some Western media coverage that is biased to the Muslim Brotherhood and ignores shedding light on violent and terror acts that are perpetrated by this group in the form of intimidation operations and terrorizing citizens," said the unsigned statement.~snip~
There's also been reports by journalists of intimidation and violence towards them on twitter. I ain't seeing a whole lot of sympathy for the liberal/commie media in comments.
I ain't havin a lot of sympathy for them either.
The leaning of the American press towards terrorist, like Hamas and Hezbollah, with their lionization of the anti-semitic pro-Palestinian hag Helen Thomas is just a small reminder that the media is this country no longer has any interest in truth telling.
The examples I could give are numerous, starting with their failure to fully vet the one candidate that needed to be vetted in 2007 to the current distractions they report on to keep the Obama failures from the public consciousness.
Like Sydney Leathers, rodeo clowns, St. Skittles, 30 year old racist statements and "binders full of women".
For me anymore the way I can tell if the liberal media is lying is if their lips are moving or if their printing something. At one time, decades ago, while the media played fast and loose with the facts you could at least count on there being some truth in what they report.
Not anymore.

It's made me realize that with the filter of the liberal/commie media we don't really know what's going on in Egypt anymore because we can't count on them reporting just the facts.
The Egyptian people ain't swallowing the malarky.
I'm old enough to know a couple of facts though, one is that the Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization and when it comes to corrupt regimes being democratically elected that doesn't mean fair.
Our media is trying to depict the MB as victims of the Egyptian military when I'm sure that the real truth is that the Egyptian military are only trying to help the people correct a mistake.

That is the story that the media should be reporting.

Move Over Kermit

Well lo and behold, after the drubbing of abortion by coverage of the grisly Gosnell trial it seems that the leftists are in a rush to find a new face to clean up their belief in murder on demand.

Fortunately for them the recent controversy over reasonable restrictions to abortion in Texas has generated a new, more media friendly face.
Brought to you by Anna Wintours vehicle for spewing liberal ideology, Vogue magazine.

Wendy Davis in heels and in Vogue
State Sen. Wendy Davis is getting the Vogue treatment.
The magazine’s upcoming September issue, known for being chock-full of fall fashion, features a glowing profile and a glamorous picture of Davis, a Democratic lawmaker from Fort Worth, Texas, who may be mounting a bid for governor. The piece offers a revealing look at Davis’s personal journey: how a struggling single mother went on to graduate from Harvard Law School and become a leading figure in the state’s Democratic politics, and recently garnering national attention.~snip~

Basically a puff piece celebrating a woman's refusal to allow even the most basic protections for women and the unborn.
No doubt on the outside Wendy Davis is a very attractive woman and the media of course jumped all over this in order to get the image of Gosnell and his horrific crimes out of the consciousness of the public and put what abortion is all about far behind an attractive woman who advocates the woman's "right" to choose to kill her baby right up to birth.
But never mind that, look new shoes!!!

I really don't understand why the liberal/commie media believes they can manipulate womens attitudes on these issues by throwing fashion at them. Do they really believe that the female mind is so easily manipulated that all it takes is a makeover and a glamour shot to get them to forget all about an issue?

Who is really waging a war on women?

Not News, Clinton Foundation is Sleezy

The news is that the New York Times wrote a story on it.

Unease at Clinton Foundation Over Finances and Ambitions
Soon after the 10th anniversary of the foundation bearing his name, Bill Clinton met with a small group of aides and two lawyers from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. Two weeks of interviews with Clinton Foundation executives and former employees had led the lawyers to some unsettling conclusions.
The review echoed criticism of Mr. Clinton’s early years in the White House: For all of its successes, the Clinton Foundation had become a sprawling concern, supervised by a rotating board of old Clinton hands, vulnerable to distraction and threatened by conflicts of interest. It ran multimillion-dollar deficits for several years, despite vast amounts of money flowing in.
And concern was rising inside and outside the organization about Douglas J. Band, a onetime personal assistant to Mr. Clinton who had started a lucrative corporate consulting firm — which Mr. Clinton joined as a paid adviser — while overseeing the Clinton Global Initiative, the foundation’s glitzy annual gathering of chief executives, heads of state, and celebrities.~snip~
The Telegraph does a better job of translating the NYT's newspeak into plainer language.

The New York Times takes down the Clinton Foundation. This could be devastating for Bill and Hillary

Anybody who's lived in Arkansas for any time knows that the kind of "good old boy" politics that the Clintons practice was finely honed during Bills time as governor.
What's really interesting is the appropriation of the foundation as a base of operations for Hillary.
In the coming months, as Mrs. Clinton mulls a 2016 presidential bid, the foundation could also serve as a base for her to home in on issues and to build up a stable of trusted staff members who could form the core of a political campaign.
Mrs. Clinton’s staff at the foundation’s headquarters includes Maura Pally, a veteran aide who advised her 2008 presidential campaign and worked at the State Department, and Madhuri Kommareddi, a former policy aide to President Obama.
Dennis Cheng, Mrs. Clinton’s deputy chief of protocol at the State Department and a finance director of her presidential campaign, will oversee the endowment drive, which some of the Clintons’ donors already describe as a dry run for 2016.
And Mrs. Clinton’s personal staff of roughly seven people — including Huma Abedin, wife of the New York mayoral candidate Anthony D. Weiner — will soon relocate from a cramped Washington office to the foundation’s headquarters. They will work on organizing Mrs. Clinton’s packed schedule of paid speeches to trade groups and awards ceremonies and assist in the research and writing of Mrs. Clinton’s memoir about her time at the State Department, to be published by Simon & Schuster next summer.
That right there begs the question that, seeing as how the Clinton Foundation is listed as a 501(c)930 organization, if Hillary runs in 2015 for president will the Foundation get the same scrutiny as Tea Party aligned organizations do?

Now They Notice?

Where were the media and unions before this trainwreck of a law was forced down our throats?
Now the elite liberal/commie media wants to report on the "unintended consequences" of Obamacare as if these couldn't have been seen before they had to "pass it to see what's in it".

But then again this is exactly the kind of intentional malfeasance we've come to expect from the lapdog liberal/commie media. The fact that so many Americans swallow the left wing propaganda spewed by the democrat owned media is just really sad.
We should demand better.

Slapping Down the Clowns

So I been reading about the "Great Obama Clown" controversy at the Missouri state fair, you know the one that the liberal/commie media and the democrats ginned up so they can all go into outrage mode.
I gotta tell you it's finally sunk to the theater of the absurd.
One clown banned for life, all the others ordered to sensitivity training not to mention the forced resignations, along with some republican RINO's playing the faux outrage card. (why in the world do people elect these morons?)

One of the things they seem to object to is the "suggestion of violence" towards Obama. along with the "disrespect".

Of course these same liberal/commie democrats didn't seem to be shocked with a movie of suggested assassination towards George W. Bush nor was there a whole lot of outrage over images like this.

Thing is all this controversy is simply an effort by the liberal/commie media to provide an object lesson to the rest of the country. To play the offended party to show us all that they basically have us by the cojones' and we sure as hell better fall in line or there will be consequences. Ya know like the IRS mistreating us or Paula Deen losing everything she worked for because.....well because liberal/commies feel like it.

Pretty soon they'll be comparing criticism of Obama to publishing cartoons of Mohammed but instead of "beheading" people literally they'll do it figuratively. But destroying your business, or making you unemployable and marginalizing you from society.
Kind of a modern day shunning.

This is what we have to look forward to if this country continues to support these elitist liberal/commie fops.

The "Angel Priest" Saga

Well this has finally come to an end, to the joy of religion haters everywhere, the "Angel Priest" appears to be a mere mortal.

Mystery solved: 'Angel Priest' identified
Mystery solved.
The “angel priest” who appeared at the scene of a Missouri car crash, anointed and prayed with the teenage victim, then vanished has been identified as Rev. Patrick Dowling of the Jefferson City Diocese.
A press release provided to by the diocese said Father Dowling had been travelling Highway 19 between Mass assignments in northern and central Missouri when he arrived near the crash scene Aug. 4.
The arrival of the unidentified priest, who seemed to come out of nowhere, then attend to the victim before disappearing just as mysteriously, touched off nationwide speculation about the identity of the “angel” cleric.
Dowling actually identified himself in a comment posting on a story about his actions on the National Catholic Register website Friday night. The posting, one among many, appeared to go unnoticed for several days.~snip~
I honestly didn't believe that the incident was actually a heavenly manifestation but you can't deny that this priest was exactly where he was, when it mattered and when he was needed. That in itself defies coincidence.
But the truth is that for those who don't believe and despise those who do this will be just another opportunity to mock people of faith.
When you think about it though what does it matter?
Miracles don't have to present themselves as ethereal beings sent by God, they can actually be humans manipulated by events. But then again Christians know that so what the others think is pretty much moot.

On Sticky Floors and Stale Popcorn

So I've been reading about what a difficult summer it's been for Hollywood studios and their big block busters crashing and burning for a few weeks now.
It seems the latest one looking to crash and burn is "Elysium".

One way to get a handle on how a film will do at the box office its opening weekend is the Thursday midnight screenings. Early reports show that Elysium made $1.6 million, which Variety called "modest. This is better than the outright box office disappointments "After Earth" and "Oblivion," but nowhere near the blockbuster Sony had hoped for.
Two weeks ago, the box office disappointment "Pacific Rim" opened to $3.6 million on the Thursday night before its release."Man of Steel" enjoyed a $9 million Thursday night haul.
Sony is predicting a $35 million opening, which is considered lowball for this kind of big-budget summer sci-fi tentpole. That kind of prediction shows a lack of faith in the film's box office prospects and a studio terrified of bad publicity should they shoot higher and miss.

In Sony's defense, though, "Elysium" is not a franchise or sequel, and as of late original films have been faltering.
"Elysium" cost Sony in excess of $100 million to produce. With promotional costs, that is likely closer to $175 million. In order to break even, Sony will have to clear at least $400 million worldwide.
"Elysium" received okay reviews, but the film's overt left-wing (and some would say, hypocritical) political message has already made it a punch-line among conservatives -- who make up about half the audience Sony had hoped would buy tickets.~snip~
I've read all kinds of reasons for why this one will under perform, mostly about it's left leaning preaching about the "haves" and the "have nots", which if you really think about it has been pretty standard fare for a while.
Personally I haven't seen a movie in quite a few years that I was ready to rush right out and see in a theater on opening day.
I never really cared for the indoor movie experience being old enough to have gone to drive-ins, first with my family and then as a date alternative and then for a while with my own family.
Drive-ins were great, instead of having to pack into the theater shoulder to shoulder and sharing armrests with who knows who, we could park a car, push the seat back or pull lawn chairs from the trunk eat snacks from home and enjoy a movie with some personal space.
But I digress, the thing that keeps me from going to an indoor theater now is if I wait a few months (weeks in some cases) I can stream a movie to my TV through Amazon or my cable/satellite provider and watch what I want from the comfort of my own couch. And much cheaper also.
Add to that the ability to pause for a bathroom break so I don't have to miss any dialog or action and I can't see any reason to over pay for a ticket, soda and popcorn in a crowded theater.

Technology has made going out to movie a non-event, a hassle and a colossal waste of money.
That's why the box office is dying.
Nowadays, in the Obama economy, people need to make decisions on how to spend their entertainment dollars and if the studios continue to offer dreck at the box office then where is the incentive for people to pay more to watch it?

Doin' the Don'ts

I'm beginning to think that the National Football League has forgotten that football as a game is entertainment.

NFL Plans To Crack Down On Excessive Celebrations This Season
WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Beware the military salute!
The National Football League will reportedly be cracking down on excessive celebrations and taunting this upcoming season.
Pro Football Talk reports that that referees working training camps have been warning players about celebrating too much.
The taunting rule is nothing new in the NFL, but what some critics have dubbed the “No Fun League,” officials will now go a step further to enforce the rule.
The NFL rule book states that a team will be penalized a loss of 15 yards if a player commits these acts: “sack dances; home run swing; incredible hulk; spiking the ball; spinning the ball; throwing or shoving the ball; pointing; pointing the ball; verbal taunting; military salute; standing over an opponent (prolonged and with provocation); or dancing.”~snip~
I've watched pro-football for years, my Dad was a big fan also, and sometimes the best part of some games was the end zone celebrations. (Detroit Lions Thanksgiving games come to mind before Dallas started playing them too.)

Sure it was irritating when the Raiders or San Diego got a touch down and celebrated but really, over the last few years how often was that?

If the league sucks to much fun out of the game they may lose their audience and all the fans will have left is gossiping about baby daddies and gang tats.

Sydney Leathers Endorses.......

....who the hell really cares?

Sydney Leathers backs Anthony Weiner rival
New York City mayoral candidate Christine Quinn just picked up an interesting endorsement — from Sydney Leathers, the young woman at the other end of the phone in the Anthony Weiner sexting scandal.
When asked by Complex magazine whom she would vote for in the mayoral race, Leathers said that Quinn is an “easy” choice.
Obviously, she doesn’t have the impulse control problems that Anthony has. I love the fact that she is out and proud. I have so many gay friends, and I feel like she would be a great ally for that community. She cares about middle-class people. She cares about students. I feel like she is more in line and up to the standard that should be set for the mayor,” said the 23-year-old, who is now appearing in an X-rated film referencing the Weiner scandal.
Says the skank who's willing to do anything to keep her 15 minutes going. Another in a long line of talent-less bimbos who've gotten more press than they deserve.

I mean it really sickens me to even bring her up but lets face it, the liberal/commie media sticking this kind of crap in our faces is part of their plan to constantly distract us from the serious problems that their anointed one and his cabinet are doing to this country.
Again we're being poorly served by the so-called "watch dogs" against corruption, malfeasance and despotism of our government.

Instead of getting answers about Benghazi, the IRS terrorizing people who oppose Obama, fast and furious, the deficit, the shrinking jobs market and the decimation of the middle class we get to hear about Sydney Leathers opinion and breathlessly told about her plans to do porno.

We need to demand better from the media or find alternatives, let the lemmings have Weiner and Leathers.

So Who Needs CNN, NBC?

I've been kind of reading about the whole deal where the RNC has pretended they have a back bone and sent a letter to CNN and NBC telling them to ditch plans for their slobber fests for Hillary Clinton.
Or there'll be no debates.

Yeah right, the same RNC that supports squishy RINOs like John McCain and Lindsey Graham . You know, the 2 weasels who have spent their careers kissing the behinds of the liberal/commie media and their fellow travelers in the democrat party.
I'm not talking about kissing the well washed  periphery either but the soft gooey center.

Media is changing, the Washington Post was sold at around 25% of what it sold for previously. Liberal media is losing advertisers and readers daily due to the rise in alternatives. "Journalists" no longer have a monopoly over the way people get their news anymore. More people are wanting "reporters" to give them just the facts, not tell us what we should think it means.

So why the hell does the RNC let them dictate the medium and conditions?
I would think that after the total embarrassment that is Candy Crowley happened they would be seriously rethinking allowing the communist news networks to decide how to present the message.

Truth is if conservatives are going to stick with the RNC then some changes need to happen, the liberal/commie networks need the RNC more than the RNC needs them.
Crawling to the biased media to get our message heard only gives them legitimacy that they don't deserve, and allowing them to dictate conditions gives them power that they can misuse.

We don't need them but they do need us, maybe it's time for the RNC to push back and tell the liberal/commie media how it's going to be instead of the other way around.

If they can do that then there's hope they'll abandon squishy RINOs and get behind some candidates that people will be willing to support for a change.

Takin' Five

Every once in a while I need to get away from the news feeds and let my blood pressure drop towards normal.
A little TV and some good music helps.
I've been watching FX's  excellent new series "The Bridge" which comes on Wednesday nights. I used to live in El Paso, Texas when I was a kid so that is part of the attraction for me but the plot line is pretty good also.

The opening theme song is really haunting so I searched around to see who wrote it and found this.

Hope you enjoy it.

Obama's Edicts for the Little People

This is something that has always irritated the hell out of me.
The ways the lofty politicians find to exempt themselves from the laws they pass that apply to the rest of us.

Obama Grants Congress Obamacare Reprieve
The Obama administration has granted members of Congress and their staffers an exemption from a provision of Obamacare that could have cost them thousands of dollars a year in added health insurance costs, according to Politico.
Congress currently allots itself generous health coverage through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program. Nearly 75 percent of premiums are taken care of. But under Obamacare, our representatives and their worker bees will be thrown onto the health care exchanges like millions of Americans – without the FEHB subsidy. Fair is fair, right?
Well, just two days after Obama assured Democratic lawmakers he was on the case – though make no mistake, many Republicans want action too – the administration has ruled that while Congress must hit the exchanges, the subsidy for their insurance will continue.
It’s good to be the king. And it’s good to be the nobility too.
Most politicians have made themselves rich while in office way beyond what a lot of us have been able to accumulate.
So why do a bunch of millionaires continue to be exempted from the same costs that any other person making over the threshold for subsidies gets?

Obamacare will be an albatross around the neck of every citizen in this country but as long as our "rulers" avoid being drug down with the rest of us they will never be able to share our pain or pass legislation to correct this boondoggle.

I can't believe that out of 350 million people in this country the current crop of thieves is the best we can do.

Of Course It's a Conspiracy

Found this over at Mediate but I did watch the segment last night.
It's interesting to me how some people seem to be more interested in deflecting the blame for things onto others.
Instead of acknowledging the problem and looking for real solutions this Illinois state rep. would rather argue constituents "suspicions".
It's much easier to give legitimacy to the idea that police are gunning down people than address the reasons why people are murdering each other.

Just another example of failed leadership by an elected official.

Crazed Teachers?

OK, what is wrong with these people?

Chiera launched into a bizarre rant: "I would hate for students to say, 'Oh, my goodness, if I answer the wrong question, is my teacher going to shoot me? If I make my teacher angry, is my teacher going to shoot me?'" Rather than reject such an absurd notion, Daly soberly wondered: "Do you think they would they make that connection?" News reader Natalie Morales and weatherman Al Roker also maintained straight faces following the outrageous commentary.
Liberals go bug shit over Sandy Hook but the only solution they can come up with is confiscating law abiding citizens guns, anything else and they go into bizarre scare monger mode.

I honestly believe that trained and armed school personnel/staff could have had a chance of saving lives that day. Why is that so hard for liberal/commies to understand?

Union Disrespects Funerals

So now I'm wondering what is the difference between the despicable Westboro Baptist Church and union goons?

Teamsters Ordered to Stop Picketing Funeral Homes
A judge ordered one of Chicago’s most politically powerful labor unions to suspend picketing against 16 funeral homes last week after receiving reports that striking Teamsters had, among other things, disturbed a child’s funeral.
SCI Illinois Services, Inc., one of the nation’s largest funeral home chains, asked a district court to intervene after striking funeral directors and drivers with Teamsters Local 727 allegedly harassed grieving families.
“We are grateful that the court agreed to issue this temporary restraining order, and we are hopeful that it will help protect grieving families who are experiencing the most difficult times of their lives,” Larry Michael, managing director for SCI Illinois Services, Inc., said in a release. “While we recognize and respect the Teamsters’ right to lawfully picket, we have been shocked and saddened by their attempts to make grieving families the target of the cruel and outrageous attacks.”
The company testified in its filing that union members blocked grieving family members from leaving its parking lot, used bullhorns to shout obscenities at workers and mourners, and unleashed a German Shepard on a dead woman’s daughter and husband.
The funeral home was eventually forced to call the police when picketers allegedly disrupted a child’s funeral with laughter. The officer asked the Teamsters to leave, but protesters returned when he drove away.
“We will be here for the visitation; we will be here for your funeral,” Teamster driver Lester Plewa allegedly shouted into a bullhorn as a funeral director met with a dying man planning his arrangements with family members.~snip~
So where's the outrage?
I wonder if the liberal/commie media will give the same kind of coverage to these thugs disrupting peoples private grief like they did the for the weirdos of Westboro?
I'm not holding my breath.
