Halloween is almost here

Storm gusts blow giant, inflatable pumpkin through Peoria
Halloween came early for drivers and pedestrians as a giant, inflatable pumpkin emerged from a group of trees before bouncing through a Peoria intersection and down the roadway in video captured on Thursday.

12 News viewer Diego Ramirez caught the pumpkin's journey on video near Peoria High School, by 83rd Avenue and Peoria.

The video shows the 25-foot-tall, 350-pound orange jack-o'-lantern roll every which way and even across multiple lanes of traffic before it got stuck beneath a streetlight pole. It then broke free and rolled off into the distance to enjoy its freedom, but the chase to capture it was on.~snip~

Republicans Slap Back at the Media

So, I watched the republican debate tonight on commie/liberal CNBC and was pleasantly surprised to watch the GOP candidates serve some backlash on the spineless moderators.

Republican debate turns into all-out war as Donald Trump bashes John Kasich, Jeb Bush hits his protege Marco Rubio, and EVERYONE hammers CNBC's moderators

  • CNBC hosts progressively lost control of the event
  • Texas Sen. Ted Cruz turned openly hostile, accusing them all of being Democrats intent on damaging the GOP field
  • Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie soon piled on the network
  • Donald Trump wrapped up his night by claiming he had strong-armed them into shortening the debate 'so we could get the hell out of here'
  • 'CNBC should be ashamed of how this debate was handled,' Republican Party chairman Reince Priebus said
I gotta say it's quite the change from Mitt's squishy performance against Obama and Candy Crowley. They both tag teamed him and he went off into a corner.
That's the one thing that's been missing in the GOP, a little back bone.

If you really want to know where it came from then you gotta give Donald Trump the credit.
Most of his critics are the lapdog media and squishy RINO types but you have to admit that he showed the way for the republican candidates not to sit there and take it from the mainstream media....which is basically just another arm of the democrat party.

Cruz, Rubio and Christie got in some good slaps at the lick spittle media but the Donald showed them the way.
Maybe they'll finally grow some spines.

Deputy Ben Fields Fired over Slamming Student

I'm sure all the social justice warriors are rejoicing.

Arrest video fallout: Spring Valley High Officer Ben Fields fired
(CNN)The South Carolina deputy who slammed a disruptive student on the floor and tossed her several feet has been fired.

Other students in the classroom at Spring Valley High School caught the incident on video.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott suspended Deputy Ben Fields without pay, and then fired him Wednesday.

Fields violated police regulations when he threw the girl, the sheriff said.

Fields was the Spring Valley High School resource officer whose actions Monday were recorded by students and ignited a firestorm on social media. Among the criticisms: his admitted use of "muscling techniques" to get the student out of her chair.~snip~
There's an argument to be made that the officer over reacted but what's really missing here is the outrage over the student being disrespectful to the teacher and principle and to her fellow students.
Let's just say for a moment that government schools ain't about indoctrination but education, defying the "powers that be" disrupts the learning environment.
The student sat through several attempts to get her to leave and purposely defied each one so the question that needs to be answered is what now?
The only option left was to physically remove her from the class room.
So while we're having a discussion about the how we also need a discussion as to the why.
Why did the situation have to escalate to the point of physically removing the student. What has gone wrong with society that this kind of thing happens?
As I said, you can argue that the officer over reacted but at that point what was anyone supposed to do?

Hang on for a Bacon Tax

Because you know that's where this is going if democrats have their way.

OMG! Bacon causes cancer
Pigging out will kill you, the World Health Organization said Monday — warning that bacon, sausage and other processed meats are now in the same category of cancer risk as smoking cigarettes and inhaling asbestos.

Hot dogs, ham, corned beef and almost every other salted, cured or smoked delicacy have been officially classified as “carcinogenic to humans” — and red meat as “probably carcinogenic” — based on a study by 22 scientists from the WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer in Lyon, France.

Experts concluded that each 50 gram portion of processed meat eaten daily increases the risk of colorectal #cancer by 18%

— WHO (@WHO) October 26, 2015

The agency revealed their findings Monday.

“For an individual, the risk of developing colorectal cancer because of their consumption of processed meat remains small, but this risk increases with the amount of meat consumed,” said Dr Kurt Straif, head of the IARC Monographs Programme. “In view of the large number of people who consume processed meat, the global impact on cancer incidence is of public health importance.”~snip~
Before long we'll hear the howls from the liberal moonbats that they'll have to levy a tax on bacon and other processed meats to price them out of range for the vulnerable poor.
Just like they did for cigarettes and want to do for carbon dioxide, soda drinks, red meat, alcohol and anything else they can think of to confiscate our money for them to spend.

Rumours? Jeb to drop from Race

This is kind of unconfirmed but to tell you the truth I've been hard pressed to find anyone online who really supports the Hispandering Jeb Bush.

DEVELOPING: Amidst insults to GOP voters JEB to drop out Monday
Jeb Bush is to drop out Monday according to political insiders and leaked memos from top aids to Jeb’s campaign team disclosed to the press this evening.

Jeb is in huge trouble as he has lost coveted ground to Marco Rubio, and the GOP nomination is all but assured for Donald Trump.

Mr. Trump’s surge in the polls took many for surprise, and he is still growing more powerful by the day.~snip~
I'm sure he's a nice guy but the last thing we need is another spineless squishy RINO.

Income Equality BS

The democrat party couldn't exist without constant crisis. It's how they whip up their base.
Actually all politicians are guilty of it.
The immigration crisis, the "gay" marriage crisis, the "war on women crisis, the rape culture crisis and so on.
Only one candidate constantly puts out the theme that he wants America to become great again economically and that's not crisis talk. It's just positivity amongst all the crisis.

Of course income inequality is supposed to be another crisis.......or is it really?
Or just another manufactured crisis to whip up the liberal/democrat base?

Wealth inequality isn’t a ‘crisis’ — and voters know it
Inequality is the defining challenge of our time, President Obama says. “There’s too much inequality,” Hillary Clinton said in the debate Tuesday night. And the United States, Bernie Sanders noted at the same event, has more wealth and income inequality than any other country.

Inequality certainly is a symptom of a persistent underlying condition: It may be the leading cause of bulls–t in America today. To put it simply, there is no inequality crisis.

Sanders, the Grandpa Simpson of economics, has been repeating the nonsense about the US leading the way in inequality for months even though FactCheck.org reported his claims were bogus back in May.
The US is only 42nd (out of 117 countries measured) in income inequality, according to the World Bank. We’re only 16th when it comes to the wealth held by the top 1%.

Inequality is to some extent a residual effect of success: If there weren’t any billionaires or millionaires, inequality would be vastly diminished.

America attracts and breeds success so brilliantly that we nearly beat the rest of the world combined in some respects: 42% of the world’s millionaires are Americans, and 49% of those with $50 million or more in assets.
The American tendency to respect, and expect, success runs counter to the progressive plan to tax it away. Not only does constant chatter about inequality tend to make Americans more supportive of free enterprise, but it also leads to a blanket suspicion about what the regulatory and taxation elves really mean to do.~snip~
Most voters do know that it's BS but the liberal base eats it up. The majority of voters want too see more jobs created. They know then that income inequality will take care of itself.

Colts Confuse Themselves

Tom Brady's Dad wanted the Patriots to put 60 points on the board against the Colts. They didn't quite make it but it appears that the Colts were trying to help them out.
There are explanations why this "play" was attempted out there on the web so you can search for them but to me they kind of fall flat.

This wasn't a good idea at all.

McDonald’s all-day Disaster

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

McDonald’s all-day breakfast has been a disaster
They’re in no way “lovin’ it.”
McDonald’s franchisees say the launch of all-day breakfast has been a disaster — griping that it has slowed down service, lowered average bills and sparked chaos in the kitchens.

Mark Kalinowski, an analyst for the Japanese finance company Nomura, surveyed 29 operators overseeing 226 different locations in the US and found that many were pulling their hair out due to the new menu options, which rolled out last Tuesday to much praise from Egg McMuffin lovers.

“In small stores, the problems are vast with people falling over each other and equipment jammed in everywhere,” one franchisee wrote in response to Kalinowski’s survey.~snip~
In my opinion service at fast food restaurants has been declining quite a bit, there's several I won't go to any more because the fast in fast food has left the building
That's a shame because there's a few I used to really like, Chick-fil-a seems to be the only one left in my neck of the woods that continues to be fast and friendly.

Jersey Devil?

Now that we're in October and Halloween is on everyone's mind it's time to start contemplating the spooky and weird.

Is the Jersey Devil in Galloway Township? | Paranormal Corner
For more than 200 years, people living in or passing through New Jersey's Pinelands have reported seeing a strange, winged creature that has come to be known as the Jersey Devil.

There are tons of stories about the monster, and thousands of witnesses who claim they have encountered it.

Late Tuesday night, I received an email from a reader who recently became one of those witnesses.

Dave Black of Little Egg Harbor Township was driving home from his security guard job in Atlantic City when he saw what he thought was a llama running in and out of the trees lining the road.

"I was just driving past the golf course in Galloway on Route 9 and had to shake my head a few times when I thought I saw a llama," he wrote in his email.

What happened next is the bizarre part.

"If that wasn't enough, then it spread out leathery wings and flew off over the golf course." ~snip~
I always take these kinds of things with a grain of salt but the question I always have to ask is why are all the "supernatural" or "UFO" videos always of poor resolution or slightly out of focus or, like this one, dark with poor contrast?
Come on people let's brush up on those photo skills huh?

Playboy and the Death of an Era

Looks like the only reason to read Playboy after next year will be the articles. But then again why buy a magazine to ogle beautiful nude women when you got an internet connection?

Playboy to Drop Nudity as Internet Fills Demand
Last month, Cory Jones, a top editor at Playboy, went to see its founder Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion.

In a wood-paneled dining room, with Picasso and de Kooning prints on the walls, Mr. Jones nervously presented a radical suggestion: the magazine, a leader of the revolution that helped take sex in America from furtive to ubiquitous, should stop publishing images of naked women.

Mr. Hefner, now 89, but still listed as editor in chief, agreed. As part of a redesign that will be unveiled next March, the print edition of Playboy will still feature women in provocative poses. But they will no longer be fully nude.~snip~
The print media has found itself having to cede to the internet and the way it has changed peoples consumption of news and entertainment.
Satellite and cable will eventually do so also, kicking and screaming all the way.

Anything for the Cause

Feminism has finally reached peak absurdity, some feminists are so committed to the cause that they will literally piss their pants on command.

#PissForEquality: Feminists Fall for Hoax Campaign, PEE on Themselves
Feminists have fallen for a hoax campaign that encourages them to pee on themselves in the name of equality. They are using the hashtag #PissForEquality.

The troll hoax was created by 4chan. On October 2, one 4chan member wrote, “What if we somehow get Tumblr tards to publicly piss/shit their pants in the name of ‘Equality?'”

Today's social justice warriors require no critical thinking skills, just the ability to follow any suggestion put out there.

Time to "Ditch and Switch"

I love watching these ladies because they're really committed to their candidate.
I've been a republican for over 20 years and I'm also tired of the squishy RINO offerings of the RNC. Enough McCain's and Mitt's, maybe the Republican party needs a Trump to shake it up.

Establishment RINO Jeb Falls to 4%

Here's what bowing down to the RNC and kissing their ass gets you.

Poll: Jeb Falls to 4%
The latest Pew poll shows that Jeb Bush has fallen to 4 percent in the Republican field. Donald Trump leads the field with 25 percent; Ben Carson is at 16 percent.

Carly Fiorina and Marco Rubio are tied for third at 8 percent of the Republican field.

"At this stage of the 2016 presidential campaign, key issues divide both Republican and Democratic voters, and early candidate preferences reflect some of these cleavages," writes Pew.

"When Republican and Republican-leaning voters are asked in an open-ended format (no names provided) for their first choice for the nomination, none of the 15 GOP candidates are named by more than 25% of those who may vote in the primary: 25% name Donald Trump, 16% name Ben Carson, both Marco Rubio and Carly Fiorina are named by 8%, 6% name Ted Cruz and 4% choose Jeb Bush. Other candidates are named by 2% or fewer. A quarter (25%) of potential Republican primary voters do not mention a first choice today, four months before the first caucuses and primaries."
Maybe if the RNC offered a leader as opposed to a republican party follower people would be more interested in their chosen candidate.

Mass Shootings and Gun Free Zones

Funny (as in odd not haha) thing is that almost all mass shootings are in gun free zones. I don't believe that it's any wonder why, if your intent is to kill as many people as possible you don't want to be interrupted by some 2nd amendment types.

Less than 90 minutes after Oregon shooting, CNN analyst suggests school’s ‘gun free zone’ to blame
Less than two hours after massacre at Umpqua Community College on Wednesday, CNN military analyst Rick Francona suggested that the shooter had chosen the location because it was a gun free zone.

“We were talking earlier about these gun free zones in Oregon,” Francona told CNN host Brooke Baldwin. “Oregon is a shall issue permit state. A lot of Oregonians do have concealed handgun licenses, that’s what we call them here.”

“The gun free zones are the areas that tell licensed gun owners that you are not allowed to carry your weapon in this facility,” he continued. “So, they do serve a purpose to let everyone know that this is a gun free zone.”

“If you’re going to perpetrate some act, you know that most people are not going to be armed.”

“You are really setting people up — and law enforcement — for somewhat of a failure when you have an active shooter scenario,” Gilliam insisted. “Clearly, policy has to be looked at and what’s effective.”

“This shows you how quickly these things can go bad, and these gun free zones, just like happened in Tennessee that this shooter that went onto a military installation, which was a gun free zone,” he added. “We see that the only thing that’s going to stop a gun is another gun.”~snip~
It seems by the title that Raw Story disapproves of the reaction of CNN's military analyst so soon after the fact.
I wonder if they'll disapprove of Obama's speedy response.

White House Immediately Politicizes Oregon Shooting, Calls For More Gun Control
