CNN's Cuomo Tells Protester "You Know How They Are"

So here we are again with the media clearly expressing their bias towards the protesters as opposed to just reporting. The message being that the police are the unreasonable ones ready to jump to violence with minimal provocation.

CNN's Cuomo Warns Baltimore Protester About Police: 'You Know How They Are'
CNN's Chris Cuomo warned a protester in Baltimore about a possible police overreaction on Wednesday's Anderson Cooper 360. Cuomo walked up to a line of demonstrators who were protesting the death of Freddie Gray, after his arrest by the city's police, and underlined that the police would go after them: "You got to know: walking toward the cops in the middle of the street – they're going to come at you." When one of the protesters replied that they were going home, the journalist retorted, "Just be careful, because you know how they are. If you seem like you're being provocative towards them, you know how things can go." [video at the link]~snip~
At best the media should be neutral, but if they do that then they ain't "social justice warriors!!!".

Apology from CNN's Brooke Baldwin

Sorry she got caught.

Not that CNN has that big of an audience but fortunately we have the internet which is why she got called out on what is really a culture of hatred for the military at CNN.
Liberal journalists cocoon themselves with like minded individuals so there's a good chance she "heard" that conversation from some of the deep thinkers at CNN.

These people expose themselves all the time and thanks to the internet we can pick up on it.

What Global Warming?

I live on the Oklahoma side of the Arkansas/Oklahoma border and here it is April 28, just 3 days from May and the temperature can't even hit 60 degrees.
Normally it's 75-80.
After all the hysterics over global warming/climate change maybe it's about time that people realize that weather just happens without our help thank you very much.

Media Enablers

Here you have another example of the liberal/commie "media" searching for a way to excuse the violence of protesters.
Peaceful protest is one thing and I'm all for citizens standing together when need be. But it's another thing for the media to focus on agitation and searching for ways to justify violent reactions.
CNN Anchor on Baltimore Riots: Some Veterans Are Coming Home 'Ready to do Battle'
The liberal media doesn't employ journalists, they employ social justice warriors and agitators.

Here's another example.

Maryland Gov. Calls out National Guard

I don't see how anyone could be surprised by what's happening in Baltimore.
I hope the alphabet channels are proud of themselves.

Md. gov calls up National Guard after roving gangs attack police, torch patrol car and store
DEVELOPING:  Maryland's governor called up the National Guard late Monday hours after rioting gangs attacked police, injuring 15, torched cars and went on widespread looting sprees in a downtown section of Baltimore.
Gov. Larry Hogan issued a statement late Monday saying he was declaring a state of emergency and calling up the National Guard. "These acts of violence and destruction of property cannot and will not be tolerated," he said at a late-night press conference.
In addition, he said he was deploying 500 state troopers and had asked for 5,000 officers from neighboring states to deal with the violence.
But little seemed able to quell the violence. A massive fire has broke out Monday night in a building that was under construction and the Baltimore mayor's spokesman said it was related to the riots, according to the Associated Press.~snip~

Media on Baltimore riots

So I was watching the ABC nightly news tonight and noticed how they were using their "stern" voices while talking about the looters and rioters in Baltimore.

It is to laugh, the liberal/commie media has been instigating and encouraging any and all  even marginally involved in #Blacklivesmatter protests.
Also, after listening carefully, I didn't hear one word of condemnation for any injuries or property damage.
I'm anticipating plenty of stories in the near future about how the violent looters were justified in their actions because of "white privilege" or something.

It’s war on cops as riots grip Baltimore
Seven Baltimore police officers were injured on Monday as rioters threw bricks, broke windows, looted businesses and burned patrol cars in violent protests following the funeral of a black man who died after he was injured in police custody.
The riots broke out just a few blocks from the site of the funeral of 25-year-old Freddie Gray in northwest Baltimore and then spread through other parts of the city in the most violent demonstrations since looting in Ferguson, Missouri, last year.
Television images showed mobs of rioters jumping on top of a police car, destroying a taxi and setting two other patrol cars on fire after teenaged crowds ignored calls to disperse and clashed with lines of hundreds of police. Gangs had threatened to target police officers, local law enforcement said.~snip~
I doubt the media will ever be held accountable.

"American Dream" taking a beating

This is Obama's and the democrats vision of America.

In 1 in 5 Families in U.S., No One Works
(CNSNews.com) -- In 19.9 percent of American families in 2014, according to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), no one in the family worked.
A family, as defined by the BLS, is a “group of two or more persons residing together who are related by birth, marriage, or adoption.  In 2014, there were 80,889,000 families in the United States,  and in 16,057,000 of those families, or 19.9 percent, no one had a job.~snip~
Less people working the more government can expand. Dependency creates more voters for the democrat give away party.
The question we have to ask is do we want to give Hillary a chance to continue Obama's policy of a more expansive government or do we want someone who will allow people to have more control over their own lives.
The next presidential election is pivotal in changing the political climate.

Bruce Jenner the 16.9 Million Viewer man

That's how many people watched the interview.

TV Ratings: Bruce Jenner Interview Nabs 16.9 Million Viewers

In the meantime Hillary Clinton, a declared candidate for president, is embroiled in a email server scandal along with the questionable practices of her foundation.
Even  the left feels like there should be answers forthcoming.

Time for an independent audit of the Clinton Foundation, says … Common Cause

It seems as though all anybody can talk about is Bruce Jenner and why is this more important than vetting possible candidates?

It shouldn't be but it is, the American public has become susceptible to just about any squirrel the media throws out there. Shame on them for doing it and shame on us for falling for it.

Brian Williams investigation not going so well.....

For Brian Williams.

So far, NBC News finds Brian Williams embellished at least 11 times
A months-long internal investigation of Brian Williams by NBC News has turned up 11 instances in which the anchorman publicly embellished details of his reporting exploits, according to a person familiar with details of the probe.
NBC undertook the examination of Williams’ statement after he apologized in early February for saying on “NBC Nightly News” that a military helicopter in which he was traveling at the start of the Iraq War had been damaged by rocket fire. His account was challenged by soldiers who were on the flight, leading to a furor that prompted NBC to suspend Williams for six months without pay and to investigate other statements he’s made.
The Iraq claim was one of the 11 suspect statements that a team of NBC News journalists has identified during the inquiry, said the individual, who asked not to be identified because he isn’t authorized to talk about an internal matter.
The investigators, led by NBC News senior executive producer Richard Esposito, have also raised doubts about Williams’ comments about his experiences covering Israel’s military action against Hezbollah in Lebanon in 2006. In an interview with a student-run television station at Fairfield University in Connecticut in 2007, Williams said he saw rockets passing “just beneath” the Israel helicopter in which he was traveling. But Williams gave a less harrowing account of the same trip in an NBC News blog a year earlier.~snip~
Deception is the liberal/commie medias strategy through distortion, embellishment or omission. The unique thing about Brian Williams is that he got caught so now we have a window into the non-stop propaganda machine that is the "main stream media".
If Brian Williams is forced out the problem will not have been solved. The media needs to be purged of all the self-promoting leftists and honest journalists put in their places.
Yeah I know "honest journalist" is an oxymoron but I've heard that they exist.

Getaway On a Wheelchair

Seems this could have taken a bit more planning.

Cops: Robber Made Getaway On Wheelchair
APRIL 23--After breaking into the home of a 79-year-old amputee early this morning, a California man stole the victim’s cell phone and then pushed him out of his electric wheelchair, which he then rode away from the crime scene, police allege.
According to investigators, Stanley McQuery, 54, broke into the San Diego apartment of William Ballard around 3:30 AM.
Ballard, who has one leg, was seated in his wheelchair when he confronted the home invader. As Ballard attempted to call for help, McQuery “pushed the victim off his electric wheelchair and took the victim's cell phone,” according to a San Diego Police Department report.
McQuery then “rode off with the victim's wheelchair and cell phone,” cops noted.
The suspect, however, did not get far.~snip~

Popeyes fired employee offered job back

Somehow I don't think this is much of a happy ending. She shouldn't have been fired for the reason she was in the first place.
Unfortunately this maybe the only option left to her, then who knows what will happen when the fuss dies down.

Popeyes offers job back to manager fired after refusing to reimburse cash stolen in armed robbery
A pregnant Popeyes manager has been offered her job back after news of her firing sparked outrage against the fast-food chain.
Marissa Holcomb, who is five months pregnant with her fourth child, met Wednesday with Z & H Foods owner Amin Dhanani, reported KHOU-TV.
“He just apologized and pretty much offered me if I wanted to go back to his business and work there again,” she said.
Holcomb said she was offered her previous position, along with $2,000 in back pay, but she has mixed feelings about returning.
“I do need a way to support my kids,” she said. “I don’t want to go back to a business where I’m treated the same and I just get pushed back out if something else happened.”
Holcomb said she was fired less than 36 hours after a gunman demanded cash from the restaurant’s safe.~snip~
I do hope things work out for her and her family.
Maybe this experience will be the push she needs to alter her life to be more than a fast food worker.

China says no stripping at funerals

It seems that in China the authorities think it's in poor taste to hire strippers for funerals.

China Says Please Stop Hiring Funeral Strippers
According to a statement from the Ministry of Culture on Thursday, the government plans to work closely with the police to eliminate such performances, which are held with the goal of drawing more mourners.
Pictures of a funeral in the city of Handan in northern Hebei province last month showed a dancer removing her bra as assembled parents and children watched. They were widely circulated online, prompting much opprobrium. In its Thursday statement, the Ministry of Culture cited “obscene” performances in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu, as well as in Handan, and pledged to crack down on such lascivious last rites.
In the Handan incident earlier this year, the ministry said, six performers had arrived to offer an erotic dance at the funeral of an elderly resident. Investigators were dispatched and the performance was found to have violated public security regulations, with the person responsible for the performing troupe in question detained administratively for 15 days and fined 70,000 yuan (about $11,300), the statement said. The government condemned such performances for corrupting the social atmosphere.
The government has been trying to fight the country’s funereal stripper scourge for some time now. In 2006, the state-run broadcaster China Central Television’s leading investigative news show Jiaodian Fangtan aired an exposé on the practice of scantily clad women making appearances at memorial services in Donghai in eastern China’s Jiangsu province.
The point of inviting strippers, some of whom performed with snakes, was to attract large crowds to the deceased’s funeral – seen as a harbinger of good fortune in the afterlife. “It’s to give them face,” one villager explained. “Otherwise no one would come.~snip~
I wonder how people would react if people hired strippers here for the funerals of their loved ones?
Diversity and all.
I'm of the opinion that the purpose of a funeral is for loved ones to have an opportunity to let go of the deceased. Most people do that by honoring what the person was in life so I suppose if that person frequented strip joints it wouldn't be out of line for one last pole dance,

Skating Away......

Punishing Climate "deniers"

You know there has been a lot of talk on lefty news sites on how to punish the "climate change deniers".

Arrest Climate-Change Deniers
AL GORE: ‘CLIMATE CHANGE DENIERS MUST BE PUNISHED’
RFK Jr. wants law to ‘punish global warming skeptics’
Professor calls for execution of “climate change deniers”

You can google and find a lot more.Which is why Whedon's tweet here is so typical.
Donning my tin foil hat here but now that government is firmly ensconced in our healthcare wouldn't you think that maybe sometime in the future the climate weenies will start to require everyone to declare their position on climate change on health forms?
Then they can decide who is deserving of medicine and life saving intervention based on that.

It's just a thought.

IRS Still giving taxpayers the shaft

The IRS is the epitome of arrogance and disdain for the average American. What other agency can confiscate property and money almost literally at the point of a gun from citizens with absolutely no accountability?
Also since when have they decided they don't have to answer to congress?

Report: IRS Deliberately Cut Its Own Customer Service Budget
If you tried to contact the IRS with a question about your taxes this year, chances are you didn't get a response. The IRS estimated that it would only answer 17 million of the 49 million calls received this filing season. Taxpayers lucky enough to have the IRS answer their calls waited an average of 34.4 minutes for assistance--nearly double the wait time last year (18.7 minutes).
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen has blamed the IRS's "abysmal" customer service on congressional budget cuts--funding is down $1.2 billion from its 2010 peak--but a new congressional report points the finger back at the IRS. While congressional funding for the IRS remained flat from 2014 to 2015, the IRS diverted $134 million away from customer service to other activities.
In addition to the $11 billion appropriated by Congress, the IRS takes in more than $400 million in user fees and may allocate that money as it sees fit. In 2014, the IRS allocated $183 million in user fees to its customer service budget, but allocated just $49 million in 2015--a 76 percent cut.
Commissioner Koskinen will appear before the House Ways and Means Committee this morning, one week after the federal tax filing deadline, and he can expect to be asked why the IRS cut its own customer service budget and continues to spend money on other questionable activities.
The report notes that Koskinen reinstated bonuses weeks after his appointment, has allowed IRS employees to spend roughly 500,000 work hours on union activities, and failed to collect delinquent taxes owed by federal employees. The tax agency has also been strained by Obamacare. According to the report, the IRS has spent "over $1.2 billion on the President’s health care law to date, with a planned expenditure this year of an additional $500 million."~snip~
Someone needs to fire Kookinen's pompous arrogant ass.

The Earth day Unicorn

Ira Einhorn was the master of ceremonies at the first Earth Day rally on April 22, 1970.
Lots of different articles and blogs are out today taking aim at one of the founders/organizers of the first "Earth day" mostly because he was a murderer and fugitive.
Rightly so that they do.
Like anything else the left embraces facts are conveniently ignored if they clash with the narrative for the greater good.
See Ted Kennedy and the Chappaquiddick accident and Sen. Robert Byrd and the KKK both icons of leftist politics.

So I was a little surprised to see this on an NBC website.

Earth Day Co-founder Killed,composted girlfriend
Ira Einhorn was on stage hosting the first Earth Day event at the Fairmount Park in Philadelphia on April 22, 1970. Seven years later, police raided his closet and found the "composted" body of his ex-girlfriend inside a trunk.
A self-proclaimed environmental activist, Einhorn made a name for himself among ecological groups during the 1960s and '70s by taking on the role of a tie-dye-wearing ecological guru and Philadelphia’s head hippie. With his long beard and gap-toothed smile, Einhorn — who nicknamed himself "Unicorn" because his German-Jewish last name translates to "one horn"  —advocated flower power, peace and free love to his fellow students at the University of Pennsylvania. He also claimed to have helped found Earth Day.
But the charismatic spokesman who helped bring awareness to environmental issues and preached against the Vietnam War — and any violence — had a secret dark side. When his girlfriend of five years, Helen "Holly" Maddux, moved to New York and broke up with him, Einhorn threatened that he would throw her left-behind personal belongings onto the street if she didn't come back to pick them up.
And so on Sept. 9, 1977, Maddux went back to the apartment that she and Einhorn had shared in Philadelphia to collect her things, and was never seen again. When Philadelphia police questioned Einhorn about her mysterious disappearance several weeks later, he claimed that she had gone out to the neighborhood co-op to buy some tofu and sprouts and never returned.
It wasn't until 18 months later that investigators searched Einhorn's apartment after one of his neighbors complained that a reddish-brown, foul-smelling liquid was leaking from the ceiling directly below Einhorn's bedroom closet. Inside the closet, police found Maddux's beaten and partially mummified body stuffed into a trunk that had also been packed with Styrofoam, air fresheners and newspapers.
After his arrest, Einhorn jumped bail and spent decades evading authorities by hiding out in Ireland, Sweden, the United Kingdom and France. After 23 years, he was finally extradited to the United States from France and put on trial. Taking the stand in his own defense, Einhorn claimed that his ex-girlfriend had been killed by CIA agents who framed him for the crime because he knew too much about the agency's paranormal military research. He was convicted of murdering Maddux and is currently serving a life sentence.~snip~
I'm kind of surprised that this story made it past the NBC political censors but here it is. Of course the Earth Day's organizers have pretty much disavowed Einhorn but that didn't keep them from using him and his connections to kick off Earth day and eco-worship.

If you really want a look at the legacy of Einhorn and the first Earth day you can go here.

Frederick's of Hollywood Files Bankruptcy

End of an era.
At one time Frederick's of Hollywood was the go to place for sexy lingerie.

FREDERICK’S OF HOLLYWOOD LINGERIE CHAIN FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY
Racy lingerie retailer Frederick’s of Hollywood is seeking bankruptcy protection in federal court after closing all of its stores and switching to an online-only business, which it intends to sell to the highest bidder.
The privately held company says competition, decreased mall foot traffic and onerous leases helped push it into a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.
Frederick’s of Hollywood Group Inc. says in bankruptcy court papers that it has not had a profitable fiscal year since 2007. Its balance sheet lists about $36.5 million in assets and around $106 million in liabilities.~snip~

U.S. Court Recognizes Chimpanzees As “Legal Persons” For First Time
In a historic moment for animal rights, two chimpanzees, Hercules and Leo, were recognized by a New York court as legal persons Monday.
Hercules and Leo, who are currently used for biomedical experiments at Stony Brook University on Long Island, were granted habeas corpus by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Barbara Jaffe.
Habeas corpus is a legal petition that detainees use to seek relief from unlawful imprisonment, and by granting habeas corpus to chimps, Jaffe endorsed the idea that they deserve the rights of a human being.
Advocates argue great apes are highly intelligent and self-aware beings with complex emotional lives that deserve basic rights, including the right to be free of inhumane punishment.
A similar tack was taken by lawyers in Argentina last year when a court ruled that an orangutan kept at private zoo in Buenos Aires for the past 20 years should have some basic legal rights.
According to Nonhuman Rights Project (NhRP), which filed the habeas corpus petition in March in an effort to move the primates to a sanctuary in Florida, Jaffe’s ruling is a first for animal rights.~snip~

Never Turn Your Back for the Pitch

Wow this is just cringe worthy.

Fan Struck By Foul Ball At PNC Park
The woman was standing in the first row behind home plate with her back toward the field when the Chicago Cubs’ Starlin Castro fouled a ball straight back against the protective screen. The ball was hit with such force that it struck the fan in the back of the head.
“It hit the net, but it went through the net with such speed, so it hit the lady in the back of the head,” said Sean Truver, a witness. “I don’t know what she was doing; she was right behind the net and she fell down.”
There’s no word yet on her condition, but Pirates’ officials say the was alert and conscious when was was taken away by ambulance.

Shroud of Turin to go on display

Still an enigma.

Why Shroud of Turin's Secrets Continue to Elude Science
The 53-square-foot rectangle of linen known as the Shroud of Turin is one of the most sacred religious icons on Earth, venerated by millions of Christians as the actual burial garment of Jesus Christ.

It is also among the most fiercely debated subjects in contemporary science, an extraordinary mystery that has defied every effort at solution.
Over the 117 years since a photographic negative of the linen unexpectedly revealed the image of a tortured body, ranks of physicists and chemists have weighed in on the fabric’s age and the image’s composition. Forensic pathologists, microbiologists, and botanists have analyzed its bloodstains, along with specks of dirt and pollen on its surface. Statisticians have combed through mountains of data.~snip~

IRS Infestation

I think for anyone who has been mildly paying attention it's apparent that government agencies have become infested with the lowest of the low.
Socialistic, liberal,democrat sympathizers.
The real problem is that they're not just sympathetic but pro-active in helping Obama defy the constitution and make his political opponents suffer the consequences for their opposition.

Here they've basically embraced the rights of an atheist organization to be what they are....a bunch of self serving pricks.
While denying Churches the right to know who and how they are being monitored.

In essence the IRS has become the democrats secret police.

The IRS Assures an Atheist Group It Will Monitor Churches
It was bad enough, as I wrote here last August, that the Internal Revenue Service appeared to reach an agreement to monitor the pulpits of ill-favored churches. What’s worse is that the IRS, directly counter to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requirements, steadfastly has refused to make public key documents pertaining to that decision.
So the IRS, acting with the whole power of government behind it, seems to be saying it can monitor and presumably punish churches for the content of their sermons, but the churches can’t know exactly if, how, and why they are being monitored.
To fight this combined assault on religious liberty and on government transparency, conservative legal stalwarts Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) and Judicial Watch together filed suit April 9 to force release of the IRS documents. ADF asserts that the IRS already has shared the documents with the atheist Freedom From Religion
Foundation (FFRF). Once again, the IRS bends over backwards on behalf of leftists while harassing and ignoring the rights, on multiple levels, of conservative groups or faith communities.~snip~

The Return of "Tebowing"?

Tim Tebow Appears Set to Join a Crowd of Eagles Quarterbacks
Reports that the Philadelphia Eagles are about to sign Tim Tebow raise a host of questions: How will Tebow fare after two years away from the game? What role does Coach Chip Kelly have in mind for him? Will he be embraced by the tough fans?
But the most conspicuous is this: Just how many quarterbacks do the Eagles need?
It is one thing to stockpile receivers or defensive backs. But teams can use only one quarterback at a time, and sometimes having even two candidates for starter can lead to a controversy that eats up a team. Now the Eagles have five quarterbacks, three of whom have started N.F.L. games.
But in another twist, precisely zero of the five could be considered proven, successful N.F.L. starters.~snip~
You know as I was reading this article a few things stuck out.
One is that the article goes out of it's way to point out Tebows "sub par" performance and:
Drawing an outsize amount of attention for his college success, rushing ability and overt Christian faith, Tebow has an N.F.L. career that essentially boils down to one season, 2011 with the Denver Broncos.
Thing is that the "sports media" didn't seem to have much of a problem with Micheal Sams " outsize amount of attention for his college success" pretty much being in his corner from the get go even dismissing his "sub par" performance at the NFL combine.
Where as Tebow actually played in the NFL and did enjoy some success.

I suppose it's to be expected seeing the medias disdain for any hint of Christian faith so expect the sports media to focus on Tebows short comings.
After all, he's not their kind.

Squandering lives with no regret

One of the things that those of us alive long enough to remember is the blatant squandering of U.S. military lives the leftist democrats have engaged in every time they are in charge since WWII.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey responded to reports that Ramadi, Iraq is on the verge of an Islamic State today by describing Ramadi as “not symbolic in any way.” In an open letter, Debbie Lee, whose son Marc was the first Navy SEAL casualty in Ramadi, responded to his remarks today.
I am shaking and tears are flowing down my cheeks as I watch the news and listen to the insensitive, pain inflicting comments made by you in regards to the fall of Ramadi.
“The city itself is not symbolic in any way”? Oh, really? Are you willing to meet with me and with the families who have lost a son, daughter, husband, wife, father, mother, aunt, uncle, grandson, or teammate?
My son Marc Lee was the first Navy SEAL who sacrificed his life in Ramadi Iraq Aug 2, 2006. His blood is still in that soil and forever will be. Remember that was when so many of our loved ones were taken from us. You said that “it’s not been declared part of the caliphate on one hand or central to the future of Iraq.” My son and many others gave their future in Ramadi. Ramadi mattered to them. Many military analysts say that as goes Ramadi so goes Iraq.~snip~
Probably the most infuriating book I've ever read is In Retrospect: The Tragedy and Lessons of Vietnam that details the way the Vietnam war was mishandled by democrat Lyndon Johnson and his administration.
I hope someday someone will be brave enough to write a book on the way Obama has mishandled the middle east.

Execution by nitrogen

Anti-capital punishment activists have made it difficult for states to carry out sentences with lethal injection so the search for alternatives moves on.

Oklahoma adopts nitrogen as possible execution method
OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) - Oklahoma may use nitrogen gas as an alternative execution method if the U.S. Supreme Court finds the state's lethal injection process unconstitutional or drugs are unavailable, under a bill Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin signed on Friday.
Oklahoma's adoption of nitrogen gas follows Utah's decision in March to reauthorize the use of firing squads for executions if lethal drugs are not available.
Fallin, a Republican, said she supports capital punishment and believes executions must be performed effectively and without cruelty.
"The bill I signed today gives the state of Oklahoma another death penalty option that meets that standard," Fallin said in a statement.~snip~

In all the talk about rights and "gay marriage" not a lot of discussion has been had about the collateral damage done to children raised by "gay" parents.

 The Gay Marriage Wake-Up Call

It's a long article but well worth the read.

Because She's a Woman!!!!!

This is from Campus Reform.
It seems many students at the University of Washington can’t think of any reason why they should vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016 — other than her gender.
Campus Reform headed to Seattle, Wash., and asked several college students if they were “ready for Hillary” and why they would vote for her.
“She’s a woman, and that’s literally all,” one female student told Campus Reform.
“Because it’s time we have a female president,” another woman said.
I would suppose that a lot of these college students haven't learned yet what the purpose of the President of the United States is. This country elected Barack Obama who's only real qualification is he isn't a white male.

Now the big thing ,apparently, is Hillary is qualified because she's a woman and that's in spite of her having more baggage than a pullman car.

I wonder if their answer would be the same if asked about.... Carly Fiorina or Sarah Palin?

intergalactic Racism

Seriously?

College Apologizes for Serving Mexican Food During Sci-Fi Event
Stevenson College, part of the University of California, Santa Cruz, is apologizing to its students for serving Mexican food during “Intergalactic” night.
In a letter sent out to students, the college apologized for having “a Mexican food buffet,” while also featuring spaceships and aliens. The college received complaints saying the combination was racist because of the association between Mexicans and illegal immigrants.~snip~
I really enjoy Mexican and Mexican inspired cuisine  and I'll admit eating it while watching science fiction movies. Which I guess makes me an insensitive racist.
Colleges are getting to be the worst example of PC run amok with it's trigger warning sensitivity to the extreme.
Don't they have any idea how this makes them look to responsible parents out there who want to be able to pay for tuition for there kids at a school that will give them skills to succeed at life?

There are some god colleges out there that will give students an education that's worth something and maybe that's what it'll take. Parents shifting their dollars to schools that won't pamper their little darlings so they face what life has to throw at them.

Harris-Perry, husband in IRS Dog House

Seems liberals ain't so keen on coughin' up the dough for the masses if it's theirs.

IRS files $70K tax lien against Harris-Perry, husband
The Internal Revenue Service has placed a tax lien on Melissa Harris-Perry and her husband, James Perry, for about $70,000 in delinquent taxes, according to a notice filed in Forsyth County Hall of Justice earlier this month.
Harris-Perry is a well-known host of an MSNBC talk show and a professor at Wake Forest University. The IRS filed the notice April 6.
In an email Wednesday, Harris-Perry said she was unaware of the tax lien but knew about the debt. She said she and her husband paid $21,721 of the debt when they filed their taxes Wednesday. The remaining debt, $48,581, covers a tax period ending Dec. 31, 2013, according to the notice.
Harris-Perry said she and her husband had been working to pay off the debt but had to deal with a series of personal crises that caused the couple to pay off the debt a lot slower than expected.
“We were aware that we would continue to need to work to pay off the 2013 debt,” she said in the email.~snip~
The IRS hounded me unmercifully for $600.00, I hope they inflict real pain on this pompous windbag.

New Star Wars Teaser

I'm old enough to remember the very first "Star Wars" when it was brand new, I was in my early 20's at the time and it was kind of exciting. Being a Sci-Fi fan I enjoyed it along with the next 2 movies in the series.
Flash forward a few decades and then 3 more came out and I thought they were so-so, Jar-Jar Binks was a real eye-roller.
Anyway in order to build anticipation for the next release for "The Force Awakens" a new teaser was released today.
I'm sure everyone who wants to see it has already but I'm potting it up anyway.

Also:
6 things we learned about the new ‘Star Wars’ movie

Would a 1000 years be enough?

Procrastination could take on a whole new meaning.

IT is likely the first person who will live to be 1,000 years old is already alive today.
This is according to a growing regiment of researchers who believe a biological revolution enabling humans to experience everlasting youthfulness is just around the corner.
At the epicentre of the research is Aubrey de Grey — a Cambridge gerontologist and co-founder or the California-based Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence (SENS) Research Foundation.~snip~

The Media's Slobbering Love Affair

So Valerie Jarrett makes the round smooching the members of the media that are about to interview her so you know how hardball the questions are going to be from MSNBC.

Fortunately we didn't get to see the rest of the slobber fest since the cameras cut away to commercial
After all MSNBC really doesn't want us to know how far in bed they and the White house are.

Brian Williams has a puppy

Optics.

Brian Williams holds puppy, hopes world forgets he’s a liar
Disgraced NBC News anchor Brian Williams emerged from hiding this week with a feel-good prop: an adorable pup.
The truth-challenged newsman — who had been mostly out of sight since being suspended in February for a raft of lies — was photographed hugging daughter Allison’s pooch on the street in Manhattan on Monday.
Williams, 55, posed as just another seemingly carefree guy out for a walk with his family — all while readily smiling for the camera, cuddling his starlet daughter’s young golden retriever, Moxie.
He was joined by his wife, Jane Stoddard Williams, to celebrate his “Girls’’ actress daughter’s 27th birthday near her Chelsea apartment. The sappy, made-for-TV moment prompted speculation that he’s ready to return to the public eye and try to reclaim his chair behind the network’s news desk.~snip~
I suppose if Hillary Clinton can try and pass herself off as "just regular folk" then Brian can deflect the public with a puppy.
Just how little do the elites respect the intelligence of the average person?

Christie, will he or won't he?

Is America ready for entitlement reforms?
Chris Christie seems to think so even after every attempt in the past has faced some pretty stiff opposition.

He also indicates that he's ready to run for president.

Chris Christie bets on bold
~I reminded Christie that four years ago, when he was on top of the political world, Republican contributors had urged him to run. Did he ever think back to those days and wonder if, you know, he kind of blew it?
“Yeah, no,” Christie said, shaking his head. “’Cause I wasn’t ready. And in the end, remember something: Everything that everybody said back in 2011 about me running in 2012 was all theoretical. It was all based on the inherent assumption of ‘He’ll do well if he performs well."
“Well, that second part of the sentence is really important,” he said. “The only way you’re going to perform well is if you believe in your heart that you’re ready to be president. And I didn’t. And so there was no way I would have won in 2012. I wouldn’t have, because I wasn’t ready.”
I asked if he felt ready now.
“Yes,” Christie answered, without a nanosecond’s hesitation.~
Like I said,,,,,it's going to be a long election cycle.

Krauthammer on Hillary's "Glaring Inauthenticity"

I happen to agree with Charles Krauthammer's assessment that Hillary Clinton is Inauthentic, however I'm not sure that it disqualifies her with as many people as we hope.
When you look back at the plastic manufactured campaign that Barack Obama, with a complicit lick spittle media, ran it's pretty plain that many voters can be beguiled by spin and half truths.
Oh hell they can be beguiled by the medias out and out lies.

Video at the link.

Symbolic

Perfect sentiment.

Now it begins

As if there was any doubt Hillary Clinton announces that she is in the running to become POTUS. So get ready for the retread of 2008.

Hillary Clinton Announces 2016 Presidential Bid

Also get ready for the uncontrollable cheer leading and slobbering by the left wing wholly owned subsidiary of the democrat party.

The so called "mainstream media".

The Slobbering Begins: ‘Clinton makes bigger splash on Facebook than Cruz or Paul’

We're already seeing some of that with the kick off of the Clinton Scooby tour.

First on CNN: Hillary Clinton takes road trip to Iowa
(CNN)Iowa or bust.
Hillary Clinton is kicking off her second bid for the White House with a road trip, riding from New York to her first campaign stop on Tuesday in Iowa. She was spotted on Sunday evening chatting with people at a gas station in Pennsylvania.
Chris Learn, a 19-year-old student at Penn State Altoona, told CNN that he ran into Clinton at a Pilot gas station. He said she greeted him and asked him questions. He also said she was traveling with a group of people in a small caravan.
"I knew it was her immediately," Learn said. "I just saw her and I was like, there's no way that's her!"
He added: "She didn't really say why she was there, but I was guessing it was for presidential stuff."
Clinton is riding in a van, which she has nicknamed "Scooby," an aide said, because it reminds her of the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine from the classic television cartoon. Asked whether she was behind the wheel, an aide said Clinton is riding and the Secret Service is driving.~snip~
It's going to be a long election season.

"Historic First" is not enough this time

Now that America has indulged itself with with a "historic first" by electing the first non-white president is it time to for a twofer?

We've had almost two terms of essentially an none vetted community organizer who didn't have to prove that he was qualified to be the countries chief executive based on the fact that he was "the first" ever.
We've been paying the price ever since.

Hilary Clinton has a well publicized history that anyone can read about in spite of the Clinton's best efforts to sanitize it.

Oh Hill no! Clinton’s stale presidential plan wrong for nation

All things being equal that history should be enough to make her campaign almost impossible but with the mainstream media being owned and beholden to the democrat party most of Hillary Clinton's short comings will be ignored in favor of their reporting that we have a chance at another "historic first".
Lets hope this time we can look past the rhetoric of the liberal media.

New FCC Rules and New Taxes

You know that government has been chomping at the bit to get their greedy hands into the internet because of its enormous potential for taxes, taxes and more taxes.

FCC's net neutrality rules open door to new fee on Internet service
Recently adopted net neutrality regulations soon could make your monthly Internet bill more complicated — and potentially more expensive.
Every month, consumers pay a small fee on their phone bills for a federal program that uses the money — a total of $8.8 billion raised nationwide last year — to provide affordable access to telecommunications services in rural areas, underserved inner cities and schools.
Now the fee could start appearing on broadband bills too, in a major expansion of the nearly two-decade-old Universal Service Fund program.
It's not clear yet, however, if most consumers would end up paying more in total USF fees than they do now.
In approving the tough rules for online traffic in February, the Federal Communications Commission put broadband in the same regulatory category as phone service, opening the door for the charges. ~snip~
To the government, especially democrats, the only reason for anything to exist is to tax it to fill the government coffers.
The internet will be no different as other forms of communication or entertainment go the way of the IBM Selectric typewriter.

Now that the FCC has seized jurisdiction of the internet the door will be opened to levy taxes on it at will driving up the cost and reducing the reliability.

'Leviathan' Some Sci-Fi Originality

I've always been a big science fiction fan.
I started reading it when I was about 12 and ran through the science fiction sections at both the school library and public library. I watched Twilight Zone and the Outer Limits the original Star Trek and whatever else was offered on TV or at the movies.

But I've gotten a little tired of the repetitive worlds of Jedi and Klingon's so when I saw this I thought here's a great opportunity to see something epic and original.

Awesome Sci-Fi Short 'Leviathan' to Become Full-Length Feature: Report
A jaw-dropping short film featuring loating space monsters swimming through clouds on an alien planet is coming to a theatre near you: the "Leviathan" science fiction project has been greenlit to become a feature film.~
~The teaser trailer is prefaced with text explaining the premise of the story, which takes place in the early 22nd century, when humankind has achieved faster than light travel using an exotic material found in the eggs of the largest species ever discovered. As the short film so clearly demonstrates, hunting these eggs is a dangerous occupation, and most people who do it are "involuntary labor."~
I'll be watching for this.

Democrats Cut Military Pensions, Welfare for Illegals not so Much

Despicable is the only word that comes to mind.
I notice that cuts to the politicians salaries and pensions aren't on the table.

Senate GOP fails in final bid to block military pension cuts in budget bill
A final effort by Senate Republicans to halt cuts to pensions of military retirees failed late Tuesday, after Democrats blocked an amendment to the controversial budget bill.
The two-year budget agreement, which cleared a key test vote earlier in the day, was expected to get a final vote no later than Wednesday.
Ahead of the final vote, Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., tried unsuccessfully to use a parliamentary tactic to force a vote on the amendment, which he wrote to undo the cuts for military retirees,
A provision in the already House-passed bill would cut retirement benefits for military retirees by $6 billion over 10 years.
Sessions wanted to instead eliminate an estimated $4.2 billion in annual spending by reining in an IRS credit that illegal immigrants have claimed.
He and fellow senators argued the bill unfairly sticks veterans and other military retirees with the cost of new spending.
“It’s not correct, and it should not happen,” Sessions said on the floor.
"By blocking my amendment, they voted to cut pensions for wounded warriors," he said afterwards. "Senators in this chamber have many valid ideas for replacing these pension cuts, including my proposal to close the tax welfare loophole for illegal filers, and all deserved a fair and open hearing. But they were denied.”
Sessions’ office claimed the vote Tuesday to block the amendment was a vote to "cut military pensions instead of cutting welfare for illegal immigrants."~snip~

Food Babe Smack down

It' about time IMO that some people have started to call out the "all natural, GMO is evil, only organic" shills that prey on the gullible and scientifically ignorant.

The "Food Babe" Blogger Is Full of Shit
Vani Hari, AKA the Food Babe, has amassed a loyal following in her Food Babe Army. The recent subject of profiles and interviews in the New York Times, the New York Post and New York Magazine, Hari implores her soldiers to petition food companies to change their formulas. She's also written a bestselling book telling you that you can change your life in 21 days by "breaking free of the hidden toxins in your life." She and her army are out to change the world.
She's also utterly full of shit.
I am an analytical chemist with a background in forensics and toxicology. Before working full-time as a science writer and public speaker, I worked as a chemistry professor, a toxicology chemist, and in research analyzing pesticides for safety. I now run my own blog, Science Babe, dedicated to debunking pseudoscience that tends to proliferate in the blogosphere. Reading Hari's site, it's rare to come across a single scientific fact. Between her egregious abuse of the word "toxin" anytime there's a chemical she can't pronounce and asserting that everyone who disagrees with her is a paid shill, it's hard to pinpoint her biggest sin.
Hari's superhero origin story is that she came down with appendicitis and didn't accept the explanation that appendicitis just happens sometimes. So she quit her job as a consultant, attended Google University and transformed herself into an uncredentialed expert in everything she admittedly can't pronounce. Slap the catchy moniker "Food Babe" on top, throw in a couple of trend stories and some appearances on the Dr. Oz show, and we have the new organic media darling.
But reader beware. Here are some reasons why she's the worst assault on science on the internet.~snip~
The amount of misinformation put out there on the inter webs by people like Vani Hari is epic basically using anecdotal evidence to bolster their claims.
For instance I used to work in a proppant factory so I know for a fact that corn starch is used as a binding agent with bauxite and water in order to crate little balls for firing into proppant.
Using her logic then corn starch would be an icky substance to put into our bodies because, after all, it's used to manufacture proppant used for fracking.
Yuk

The examples are numerous so read the article and maybe check out the Banned by Food Babe page on Facebook.

What a Waste

Every time you go to work and sweat, strain. work overtime and struggle to pay your bills remember that the government has so little contempt for your labor.

They confiscate part of your pay to waste it.

Little Rock VA Hospital Tears Down Never-Used Solar Panels
Two years after being completed, $8-million-worth of solar panels at a Little Rock, Ark., Veterans Affairs hospital have never been turned on, and now the hospital is tearing down some of the panels.
A chunk of the roughly 7,000 inactive solar panels outside the Little Rock Veterans Affairs Hospital was recently dismantled to make way for a new parking garage, Little Rock news outlet KATV reports:
The panels are being taken down for the construction of a parking garage. Channel 7 News obtained video of some of the panels being torn down last week. The panels will eventually be relocated to the top of that parking garage.
The Central Arkansas VA would not release the estimated cost to construct the panels and then later deconstruct them, calling it “procurement sensitive information”, because the parking garage contract is ongoing.~snip~
What's really galling is that they feel no need to disclose the costs to us peasants because in their mind it's their money.

Smoke Ring or UFO?

Personally I'm leaning to smoke ring, as for the source who knows.
Yeah I know I spoil all the fun.
Video at the link.

Is this a UFO? Eerie video shows bizarre black ring hovering over village before vanishing into thin air
The video has been viewed and shared thousands of times on various sharing sites with users all speculating as to what could have caused the spooky sight.
While some are convinced the shape is a UFO and proof of extra-terrestrial life, others are slightly more sceptical, saying it could be the result of cigarette smoke.
The clip has been watched on YouTube almost 50,000 times.

Social Justice vs "Journalism"

I don't think anybody can deny that it's been a rough week for "journalism". Between a ABC 57 reporter searching high and low fora business that would give them a sound bite for the purpose of stoking outrage to a CBS 6 employee reporting the GoFundMe page of the business targeted "just in case" to Rolling Stone retracting their story on UVA gang rape it hasn't been good for media credibility.

While some milquetoast and inadequate apologies have come forth no heads will roll, Everyone, so far, keeps their job.
Which simply means they were doing what these "news" businesses want,
Being Social Justice Warriors.(SJW)

Reporting facts and unbiased investigation are just so passe', the mission now is "make the world a better place" by slanting reports or ignoring any facts that don't fit into the world view of the SJW.
The media has put us on notice that they will present stories that conform to their world view ubtil we all agree with it, As opposed to just getting the facts and making up our own minds.

We are now in the era of forced group think whether we like it or not.

Church Claims LGBT Discrimination for being Rejected from Parade

No where in the story does it say why they were "dis-invited" but because they welcome homosexuals then that has to be it.

EUREKA SPRINGS-- An annual Eureka Springs Easter parade, surrounded by controversy this weekend, after one church congregation was asked not to participate.
The Celebrate Jesus Easter Parade has been growing in Eureka Springs over the past three years. This year the Eureka Springs First Methodist Church applied to be in the parade, wanting to carry a sign saying "Jesus loves all." The church was denied, and now they're asking why.
Eureka Springs Celebrate Jesus Easter parade made its way through downtown Saturday afternoon, but one church was left on the sidelines.
First United Methodist of Eureka Springs applied to be in the parade, and was initially accepted. One week before the parade, however, they were told they were no longer welcome. Church member Suzie Bell believes it's because of their stance on the LGBT community.
"They wanted to know what our banner was going to say, and it said "Jesus loves all. They had decided that they did not want us in the parade, and that we weren't welcome." Bell said.
Bell says the Methodist Church has recently become a "reconciling congregation" meaning they are publicly welcoming of the LGBT community. Bell says that is the reason they weren't allowed in. ~snip~
 Another hypothetical.

The Smartest "Dumb Rednecks" Alive

So what do you do when you can't possibly conceive that the whole world doesn't want to completely destroy someone you despise?

It's a CONSPIRACY!!!!!!

Hot new liberal theory: Memories Pizza orchestrated this fiasco because they wanted the online donations

Basically what it boils down to is that religious "bigots" were played by a diabolically nefarious master mind on homophobia.

What it really proves is that leftists are nitwits.

The Medias Lies by Omission

I really don't think it's any surprise to anyone that the liberal/commie democrat controlled main stream media deliberately lies or purposely deflects when it suits their,or the democrats, purposes.
But they are also masters at ignoring stories that don't fit into their chosen narrative and anything that doesn't fit the alleged "steamrolling" of homosexual" marriage on society pretty much gets the silent treatment.

Not News: Black Church Group Cuts Ties With PCUSA Over Same-Sex 'Marriage'; Membership Decline Continues
On March 18, Associated Press Religion Writer Rachel Zoll covered the decision by the Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) "recognizing gay marriage as Christian in the church constitution after decades of debate over same-sex relationships." A search at the AP's national site indicates that the wire service hasn't done a story on the U.S. congregation since then. This means that it has ignored a development going at least back to Friday indicating that there has been significant external blowback:
National Black Church Initiative, a Coalition Representing 15.7 Million African Americans, Cuts Ties with PCUSA
The National Black Church Initiative (NBCI), a coalition representing some 34,000 African American and Latino churches, 15.7 million African Americans, and 15 different denominations, announced that it will be cutting ties with the Presbyterian Church (USA) since the denomination decided to redefine marriage to include same-sex marriages.
~snip~
The courts can rule same sex marriage as legal but people of real faith will never accept it. True Christians simply cannot.
That is why we're in the next step of totalitarianism. Because while rabid supporters believe they will benefit on some level by the elimination of Christianity in this country the real beneficiaries will be the socialist tyrants of the democrat party.

Who's really being played by the professional class/gender warfare agitators?

The Pitfalls of New Wealth

You know with all the stories about the amazing response to Memories Pizza after they were forced out of business by an unscrupulous reporter looking to pander to an intolerant, hateful minority (over $800,000 as of this post)  it seems like a good time to consider the unique problems for people with sudden wealth,
Not that I think that the recipients of peoples amazing generosity will be irresponsible with their windfall but because there are, sadly, consequences to suddenly finding oneself somewhat wealthy.

Ex-NFL player Phillip Buchanon shares drawbacks of newfound wealth
~Buchanon's book is, in fact, out, and he was nice enough to give FOXSports.com an exclusive excerpt. Here is Buchanon, discussing how his relationship changed with his mother, once he made it big:
Soon after the draft, she told me that I owed her a million dollars for raising me for the past 18 years. Well, that was news to me. If my mother taught me anything, it's that this is the most desperate demand that a parent can make on a child. The covenant of having a child is simply that you give your child everything possible, and they owe you nothing beyond a normal amount of love and respect. There is no financial arrangement. If you get old and infirm, and your kids are around to help you out at that point, then you're lucky. It's not written in the social contract. The mothers and fathers of the world have been rearing their kids for generations -- in every culture imaginable -- and it's a one-way street when it comes to money. If they pay you back someday, and you really are going through hard times, then that's just a bonus, a gratuity for being a great mother or father.~
This is an interesting cautionary tale.

Microsoft to Offer Windows 10 .....for Free

I'm still looking for a catch but don't see one.
Funny thing is I've been reading on the net for 10 years that Microsoft is "EVIL!!!" so I wondering how a free upgrade will go over.

Microsoft Clears Up Just Who Gets Free Windows 10
Microsoft really wants people to upgrade to Windows 10 when it comes out this summer. So much that Microsoft announced at an event in January that upgrading to Windows 10 would be free for a year.
But then what?
I had a chance to sit down with Aaron Woodman, senior director of product marketing at Microsoft, to get the skinny on the “Free Windows 10” offer.
To recap what we’ve known since the Jan. 21 Windows 10 announcement: Microsoft will provide an upgrade from Windows 7 or Windows 8 to Windows 10 for free, for a period of one year from the release of Windows 10. There are some important details to this deal that were revealed, and a few that weren’t. In my talk with Woodman, I got what I think is the definitive take on who will have to pay for Windows 10 and when, and who will not.
Versions you can upgrade from
The Windows 10 upgrade will be free and a one-step process for consumers using the current versions of Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 8 (8.1). If you’re using an older version (Windows 7 or Windows 8 proper), you’ll have to upgrade to the current version first. Those upgrades are free, too, but Windows 10 won’t upgrade Windows 7 or 8 until it’s made current. That’ll make the upgrade a two-step process for users on older versions.~snip~
The particulars are at the link above.

The Chick-fil-a Effect

I think one of the things most Americans despise is bullies.
A great example of that is the ABC57 reporter who asked gotcha questions to the owner of Memories Pizza and she naively answered truthfully.
The whole purpose of which was to stoke outrage (like it needed much stoking) over the Indiana RFRA bill.
Well the predictable shower of hate and threats descended on this small town business forcing it to close it's doors. Even though no one even asked or was turned away or refused service. All it takes is the hypothetical inference that it might/could happen.

Well in response a GoFundMe account was set up to help these unfortunate people through their financial loss.

Donations flood Indiana’s Memories Pizza after RFRA fallout

As of this post the current amount is $329,974 with over 11,000 people donating so far.
Weird thing is that yesterday when I was looking at the donations there were quite a few from people who stated their names and left notes of support. Now they're all anonymous as far as I can see so obviously the tolerance brigade has been taking names.

Lot of hate going out to the guy who started the GoFundMe page for Memories Pizza also.
Despite what the media and the pink mafia want you to believe there is a lot of support out there for this business owner who obviously didn't realize that she was being used by an unscrupulous media entity for their own self-aggrandizing purposes.

The liberal media are not our friends, they use people of faith and throw them away like used tissue in order to pander to the basest of our society.
Mainly homosexuals and democrats.

While helping these business owners out,and any others snared in the media,is a good first step the next one should be notifying the MSM that we're not going to stand for their duplicity any longer.

Excessive Ice Tea Alert

To much of anything is never a good idea.

Arkansas man's kidney failure stemmed from too much iced tea
NEW YORK –  Doctors traced an Arkansas man's kidney failure to an unusual cause — his habit of drinking a gallon of iced tea each day.
They ruled out several potential causes before stumbling on a reason for the 56-year-old man's kidney problems. He said he drank about 16 8-ounce cups of iced tea every day. Black tea has a chemical known to cause kidney stones or even kidney failure in excessive amounts.
"It was the only reasonable explanation," said Dr. Umbar Ghaffar of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She and two other doctors describe the case in Thursday's New England Journal of Medicine.
The unidentified man went to the hospital last May with nausea, weakness, fatigue and body aches. Doctors determined his kidneys were badly clogged and inflamed by the food chemical called oxalate. The man is on dialysis, perhaps for the rest of his life, Ghaffar said.~snip~
I like iced tea with meals although I quit drinking it sweet several years ago. I found the sugar to filling,

The Bottom Line on "Gay" Pizza

While the pink mafia and their leftist enablers have been melting down over the Memories Pizza "scandal" they have been conveniently ignoring the simple fact that it's entirely manufactured.
Here's an article that explains it perfectly.

Story About First Business to ‘Publicly Vow to Reject Gay Weddings’ Was Fabricated Out of Nothing
The Huffington Post headline screams:
Indiana’s Memories Pizza Reportedly Becomes First
Business To Reject Catering Gay Wedding.
Memories Pizza is a nine-year-old shop in downtown Walkerton, Indiana, just a few blocks from John Glenn High School. It’s owned by an openly-Christian couple, the O’Connors, who decorate their shop with mementos of their faith in Christ. So how does a small business in a small town wind up making headlines around the world as the new avatar of Christian bigotry?
Perhaps, you say, they brought this upon themselves, seeking out publicity for their strict biblical views.
Eh…no.
Some cursory internet forensics shows how it happened…or rather, how it was made to happen.
ABC-57 reporter Alyssa Marino’s editor sends her on a half-hour drive southwest of their South Bend studio, to the small town of Walkerton (Pop. ~2,300). According to Alyssa’s own account on Twitter, she “just walked into their shop [Memories Pizza] and asked how they feel” about Indiana’s new Religious Freedom Restoration Act.~snip~
You see there was no wedding, no one ever asked them to cater one nor had there ever been a request for pizzas for a "gay" wedding or reception or even a rehearsal dinner made to Memories Pizza for them even to turn down.
All the happened is some reporter asked questions designed as "gotchas" and of course if the right answers aren't given then the media goes into the "sly little lie mode".
The leftists know it's a lie and so do the pink mafia but they also know that they can milk the lie to their own advantage.
The media and the left play the people in this country constantly and they couldn't care less.
Harry Reid is a proven liar and proud of it.

The sad part is here we are entering another election cycle and the media still hasn't received the backlash from the American people that needs to happen so that voters can make an informed decision.
