Who Should Go?

Dennis Miller has the answer, it's nothing new, I've seen the suggestion countless times before. They want Obamacare so badly it didn't matter to them if the economy tanks as long as they get their free stuff.
At least they'll have health care, eventually, if the incompetent meddling bureaucrats can ever get Healthcare.gov running.

The Infestation is Deeper than the IRS

A lot of people online are applauding this video of Rep. Trey Gowdy lecturing the IRS on their shameful waste of taxpayer money for their own enjoyment while other Americans are struggling to survive in Obama's economy.
As well they should, but as Gowdy says over and over, training will not solve the problem.
The real problem is the ensconced liberal/progressives that infest civil service from the top to the very bottom.
When the bright idea came up for IRS agents to single out opponents of the current regime doesn't it strike anyone as kind of odd that no one spoke up and possibly suggested that it might be wrong?
The reason is because they honestly believe that they are entitled to do whatever they choose to intimidate citizens into silence.

If anyone actually believes that hearings alone will cure what ails civil service then they are delusional.
To cure the government of what they are doing, which is actually declaring war on ordinary citizens of this country, an actual purge of these agencies is what is needed. A mass firing of partisan hacks who entered civil service for the sole purpose of forcing their ideas and beliefs on others. Instead of simply following the rules and regulations set down by congress.
If not then over time the corrupt liberal/progressive bureaucrats will slowly but surely go back to their "let them eat cake" attitudes and corrupt practices.
I worked in civil service for a short time and one thing I learned is that most loyalties with them lie in their unions and with liberal/progressive ideologies.
It was like that 30 years ago and I'm sure it's like that now on steroids.

Politicians come and go, bureaucrats go one forever.
Shrink and restructure civil service to actually serve their country, not create little fiefdoms who wield control over citizens without accountability.
 

Government Guidos

My wife worked for a local hospital and was involved in billing. This particular hospital (like most I'm sure) employed certain collectors to harass and harangue what they considered the basest deadbeats of all. You know, the unemployed, the destitute, the extreme elderly who eat dog food 3 or 4 times a week to get by....and they were referred to as "Guidos".

Guidos used every dirty trick they could to humiliate and strong arm every penny they could get from the the clients they were assigned to.
They are the clowns that force many to seek bankruptcy protection and occasionally a few suicides to keep them from contacting their clients any further.
Well it seems that the Obama administration made an attempt to activate a few Guidos on his behalf.

Tea Party groups, Republicans slam IRS for flagging conservative groups

Tea Party leaders refused to accept an apology from the IRS Friday in which the agency acknowledged that it inappropriately flagged conservative groups for additional review during the 2012 election to see if they were violating their tax-exempt status.
Jenny Beth Martin, national coordinator for Tea Party Patriots, said she wants to see resignations over what she called the "disturbing, illegal and outrageous abuse of government power."
Republican lawmakers also seized on the acknowledgment, after having complained about the suspected harassment more than a year ago. Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell called for a "government-wide review" to assure "these thuggish practices" are not in use elsewhere. House Republican Leader Eric Cantor later said the House would investigate.
Reaction was swift and harsh after Lois Lerner, who heads the IRS division that oversees tax-exempt groups, acknowledged the issue at a conference Friday sponsored by the American Bar Association.
She confirmed that organizations were singled out because they included the words "tea party" or "patriot" in their applications for tax-exempt status. ~snip~

So the IRS says "oops".
Everyone wants to know who or if anyones heads will roll, I ain't holding my breath cause I know it ain't going to happen. All government agencies are overwhelmingly staffed with union owned left wing communist progressives and the IRS ain't immune.
Obama and the democrat party will give cover to the faceless leftist democratic operatives of every government agency that exists because they know they will be there long after they're gone.
For the last 50+ years the democrats and unions have been putting their hand picked minions into the positions of "civil servant" so that they can interpret the rules and regulations to benefit the progressive liberal communist party.
Want to eliminate the Washington, DC rot?
Fire all the union owned progressive leaning civil servants and hire only what's needed for essential services.
A clean sweep and then we might have a chance.

Oh, and by the way, remember that Obamacare gives the IRS even more sweeping powers. I'll bet you progressives are really looking forward to that.
