Obama Ends Campaign in Half-Empty Arena
President Obama’s big rally tonight turned out to be just like his first, opening salvo of the 2012 campaign: a half-empty arena in Ohio. According toRealClearPolitics’ Scott Conroy, there were “empty seats scattered around the upper-level of Nationwide Arena … Four years ago, after all, Obama was easily filling venues larger than that …” The event even featured Bruce Springsteen and Jay-Z, and Obama still couldn’t fill it out.The reason I refer to him as a "half empty" president is because there are people who believe that he has actually accomplished something in the last four years.
Like high jacking health care, allowing gays to serve openly in the military, giving multi-billion bailouts to corrupt unions, suppressing business, pissing away billions of dollars on failed "green energy" companies, killing the coal industry, driving the cost of gasoline to double, expanding food stamps and unemployment.
If these things are important to you then you believe he's a success and deserves four more years.
If jobs, prosperity, freedom, a balanced budget and hopeful future are important to you then he's a failed president and needs to be replaced.
Believe it or not there are people who think he's doing a good job and there is nothing anyone can do to change their mind. The real problem is if there are enough to re-elect this abject failure.
If Obama garners enough votes after his piss poor performance then it makes me wonder if our country deserves to be exceptional. If enough people vote for another four years of this loser then maybe we deserve mediocrity.
I hope that's not the case and tomorrow will be a new beginning for America.
