Background check plan defeated in Senate, Obama rips gun bill opponents
The Senate on Wednesday defeated a vital background check amendment seen as the linchpin to Democrats' gun control bill, dealing a major setback to President Obama -- who lashed out at opponents in unusually blunt terms during remarks from the Rose Garden.I mean this is almost constant, this administrations focus on silly stuff and not bothering to do something about the dismal number of jobs created last month. Or the number of people forced out of the workforce because........there ain't no jobs out there.
"All in all, this was a pretty shameful day for Washington," Obama said, accusing the gun lobby of lying about the bill.
The vote was 54-46, with supporters falling six votes short of the required 60-vote threshold.~snip~
How about doing something about all the businesses that have to cut their workers hours because of Obamacare, that more and more don't want?
Want to get fired up about something Obama?
How about you stop finding ways to circumvent a constitutional right and get angry about the rules and regulations your administration and the commie democrats put in place to over burden business and kill jobs.
So far, on what really matters, your as useful as a screen door on a submarine.
