Obama would not let his son play football
Washington (CNN) - As the Patriots, Broncos, Seahawks and 49ers prepare to battle for two spots in the Super Bowl, President Barack Obama says if he had a son, he wouldn’t let him play pro football.Since he doesn't have sons then he'll never have to face that decision, will he?
With an ever-growing amount of evidence linking the brutal sport with serious head and brain trauma, the President, who has two daughters, told New Yorker editor David Remnick he would bar his son from playing the sport. "I would not let my son play pro football," Obama reportedly said.
So why should any of us who have sons really care what his opinion on it is? Obama certainly has a lot of fantasies about what he'll do without having any practical experience.
Like deciding for everyone else what kind of healthcare we're entitled to even though he has no practical experience in either healthcare nor insurance.
Like making decisions about the military without any practical experience with serving his country.
Oh hell, or even like being president with no practical experience at being a leader.
Every last bit of advice or opinions he has on anything comes from almost no experience on the subject.
So he can take his mythical son and football and pound sand.
