intergalactic Racism

Seriously?

College Apologizes for Serving Mexican Food During Sci-Fi Event
Stevenson College, part of the University of California, Santa Cruz, is apologizing to its students for serving Mexican food during “Intergalactic” night.
In a letter sent out to students, the college apologized for having “a Mexican food buffet,” while also featuring spaceships and aliens. The college received complaints saying the combination was racist because of the association between Mexicans and illegal immigrants.~snip~
I really enjoy Mexican and Mexican inspired cuisine  and I'll admit eating it while watching science fiction movies. Which I guess makes me an insensitive racist.
Colleges are getting to be the worst example of PC run amok with it's trigger warning sensitivity to the extreme.
Don't they have any idea how this makes them look to responsible parents out there who want to be able to pay for tuition for there kids at a school that will give them skills to succeed at life?

There are some god colleges out there that will give students an education that's worth something and maybe that's what it'll take. Parents shifting their dollars to schools that won't pamper their little darlings so they face what life has to throw at them.
